It does exactly what it says and does it very well and quickly. Having had a bad experience with other switches that took 2-3 seconds to change the screen, this one switches almost instantly. Large and convenient button that you can find even in the dark. If I had to charge it with something negative, it would be that I would prefer the HDMI output to be at the back, because having the cable in front disrupts the "cleanliness" of the desk... but that's just a minor detail!

It lasted 7 months and then out of the blue the fire button broke. You hear the "click" but it does nothing ...and I had it "like new" :(
As long as it lasted, I had no problems. Permanently "stuck" on an Ajax, it didn't disappoint me and didn't... peel. It's a shame it lasted so little.

Incompatibilities: It refuses to cooperate with Intel's AX201 WiFi chipset (also known as Tiger Lake PCH CNVi WiFi) that many laptops with Intel processors have. While it connects to its WiFi network, no data is transferred from it. It does not work from either Linux or Windows. Tested both from my laptop and from a Mini PC with the same chip. The same problem exists with Xiaomi's MiBox. The issue has been sent to Cudy's "support," without any response, not even a "for appearances' sake." The problem can be resolved with some USB WiFi or Range Extender, but that is not the optimal solution for everyone.

WiFi Signal: Additionally, the WiFi connection is very weak. Its WiFi antennas are 2xMIMO and are located internally (the antennas you see are for 4G), resulting in poor coverage, given that it is intended for outdoor use. If you want to cover your home and have it installed on a pole on the roof, you may have a problem. The issue can also be solved with a Range Extender, or by moving the UTP cable to a router inside the house and using the WiFi from the internal router.

4G Signal: Finally, if there is no line of sight with the mobile antenna, its antennas do almost nothing, despite the claimed gain of 5dbi. It has slightly better signal quality with the mobile phone (and the phone is not on a pole!).

Management: Otherwise, excellent management interface. Much superior for the money it asks for. If only it did well what it is purchased for...

I got it for my elderly mother, who was confused by the many buttons on the remotes for modern televisions. She immediately found the small size and large buttons convenient. It has all the absolutely necessary buttons, but nothing is missing for everyday use! She even learned how to use the same remote for the second television in the bedroom. Besides that, the response of the buttons is immediate. For the money it asks for, it is truly an excellent choice.

- Although the review by the user Fairplay says it all!... I would like to add that for me the C and V keys (especially the V) stick (due to frequent copy/paste use) and often remain pressed down almost halfway.
- On Linux, the program's capabilities do not come close to those of the corresponding one on Windows.
- I expected it to be quieter.
- The worst part is the backlight, as Fairplay mentions. It is not separate for each key and the light diffuses, resulting in it becoming annoying. You are forced to lower the brightness, but then the letters are not readable! Especially if you have some light bars on your monitor, like I do, it is impossible to distinguish the letter on the key.
- After a few months, I switched back to Motospeed, which costs half as much among other things

Four stars because:
- The user instructions are printed on a very small piece of paper. I had to take photos of them with my phone and zoom in a lot to read them. Besides, they are poorly written.
- The temperature and humidity are not accurate. The sensors I have on a Raspberry Pi have a difference of at least 2 degrees Celsius and around 5+% humidity, which cannot be justified by their different positions in the room.

Many years of use next to a grill at the cottage. It gets "eaten by the rain and the frost" but it stays there... like a dog.
After several years, the holes in the burner gradually clogged due to the weather conditions it was exposed to. Time for a change with the same one!

Edit after 1 year of use. The holes in the burners started to clog (and quite severely). Given that it is the same model as the one I had before and is installed in exactly the same spot, I can only conclude that the quality of their construction has dramatically decreased. What a shame!
So the 5 stars I had given it became 2!!
