  I got it for my elderly mother, who was confused by the many buttons on the remotes for modern televisions. She immediately found the small size and large buttons convenient. It has all the absolutely necessary buttons, but nothing is missing for everyday use! She even learned how to use the same remote for the second television in the bedroom.   I bought 2 (the 2nd one as a backup) a few years ago to replace the remote controls of an old TV (I programmed it in memory A) and its decoder (I programmed it in memory B). It still works flawlessly until today (although the LEDs burned out at some point).

  Today, wanting to replace another remote control, I took out the 2nd one that I had bought from its box. However, I couldn't copy the remote control even though it showed that it was being programmed normally.

  I even tried to copy from the other identical remote control and it didn't work. Unfortunately, it is a defective product and I no longer have a warranty.

  The remote control is large (17.0 x 4.8 x 1.5 cm), takes 2 AAA batteries, has easy programming (when it works), and is covered by the minimum (legally) 2-year warranty.

  I am attaching the instructions (which are inside the box) in Greek and English in case you need them.

  Overall, I am quite satisfied with the price of €3.50/piece that I bought them for.

  Bonus: What to do if you don't have the original remote (or it doesn't work) and you can't find anything to replace it.

  First, check if you have a mobile phone with an IR Blaster (meaning a phone that can function as a remote control). You have better chances with Chinese companies. Also, ask friends (someone will probably have one to lend you for a few minutes).

  If not, you will need a USB IR Transmitter (I don't know if they work with "Mi Remote Controller").

  The easiest solution is to search in the "Mi Remote Controller" app (or similar ones) on the Google Play Store if it has your device. If you find it, you can use your phone as a remote control to copy it to Simply. In the rare case that you can't find it (maybe it's a very old device), there is one last solution.

  The "IrCode Finder NEC protocol" app on the Google Play Store can generate all the IR codes of the NEC protocol, and with a little effort, you will find all the codes that correspond to your remote control. You will need to pay €1.59 to unlock all the features of the app.
  In the app's settings, there is a link to the help page, which is in Russian (use Google Translate for translation).

  However, it does not read all keyboards, even if they are genuine... I had this issue with the decoder, but I managed to overcome it by using a different keyboard (Chinese) for the decoder, which worked fine. It cannot read from a mobile phone with infrared.

  Good size and big buttons, easy for older people. I wish it would work at all. I probably got a defective one because I could never make it work. I would like to believe that I'm not disabled in the head, I searched the company's website for the manual and repeated the process one, two, three, thirteen times and neither did the indication of successful copying light up on any button (light that flashes three times), nor did the remote control work after the process. I will buy a second one to try it out and I will update the review accordingly. For now, I leave this here so that future buyers know that there are defective pieces.

  It is easy to set up as long as you have the remote control you want to replace. In other words, it is not possible to program it without having the original control, for example, of the TV (with a code according to the TV brand). The programming method is to read each key that you program one by one. This process is very easy.
  So if you don't have the control in the operating state you want to replace, then it is useless to you.
  Its positives are that it reads and programs everything, whatever device you use as a controller, it recognizes it. Also, in old TVs that have an external decoder, you can set the buttons on A for the TV and on B for the decoder, so you will have a remote control for both.
  The only thing that struck me is that I expected it to be smaller in size. In other words, while in the photo you think it is a small control, in reality, it is perhaps even larger than the controls that TVs have (at least in width).

  Extremely practical, especially for older individuals. Also, it has a particularly high-quality construction that is hard to find in this price range.

  Programming is very easy with a learning process, keeping one remote control opposite the other. A great advantage is that it can learn from more than one remote control in the same program. It can accept up to two different (or similar) programs that you see on the A & B buttons.
