The magnets are not strong enough. The tape measures are a 3-meter and a 5-meter. When I bought them, I thought they were two 5-meters since they look the same in the photo. Their labels all looked oily (I went to change them and all of them were like that in stock). The retracting mechanism is weak for the 5-meter - I don't use the 3-meter. The tape measure has already bent in places after half a day of use... There is no measurement for the body of the tape, so you can't easily use it in corners. I wouldn't buy them again.

I have the slightly older version of the MSP5a. This speaker has been powered on since 2002. The sound is extremely clear, the high frequencies are a little metallic, but this helps me judge if the sound is "scratching" and makes the mix come out warmer without disturbances. During the same period, I have changed 2 mixers (because the mixer stays on all the time) due to their power supply burning out. The speakers have not suffered ABSOLUTELY anything for 22 years. And I have transported them from England to Greece 4 times in a suitcase with clothes... Sorry for the expression but... DOGS!!...

Edit: I eventually bought the MSP5 as well. Excellent. The cable is classic and not integrated like the MSP5a. More beautiful design with rounded corners. The sound is a bit clearer than the MSP5a but generally the same. And quite a bit heavier (8kg instead of 5-6kg) which for me is better and more robust since I no longer move them.
