Wonderful story! Short text, easy for younger ages to follow! The illustrations are amazing, with pages that shimmer. It kept the interest of the 3 and 4.5-year-olds. It's worth having.

Purchased on 21/6/24 for €39.90. We bought it urgently because the shower glass broke and we needed to clean up the glass immediately, as we didn't want to use the stick vacuum we have. So we wanted something cheap and immediate.

Given the above, it did its job perfectly.

Positives:
- Very easy assembly, use, and emptying of the bag.
- Compared to other vacuums that cost €100, the suction power is much better.
- Fabric bag that can be emptied and reused.
- Not very noisy.
- Lightweight.
- Takes up little space.
- Easy to transport.

Negatives:
- The bag has a small capacity, but that's what it says, so you know it when you buy it.
- Only one function/intensity, no other settings. Satisfactory for tiles, but I imagine it would have mediocre performance on carpets (I didn't try it on carpets).
- The hose consists of 2 sections that fit into each other. It seems that the construction is not good, time will tell how long it will last.
- Not many accessories: 1 regular nozzle and 1 small one for corners that can be rotated and the head slightly changes.
- Short cord.

Overall, I was more satisfied than I expected. I recommend it for the price. Time will tell if it will last. If anything changes, I will come back.

Purchased 2/2024 for €1,390.

We didn't have a dryer before, so we don't have a comparison measure; however, we are very satisfied, so much so that we wonder what we did all those years without one.

Imagine that our washing machine broke down, and we got a 14 kg washing machine along with this specific dryer. By the time we figured out what to buy, ordered it, and it arrived, we had accumulated a lot of laundry. In the first few days, we were doing 5 loads of laundry a day, and from the moment a piece of clothing went into the washing machine, it was out warm, dry, and ready for the closet in no more than 3 hours.

While in the past we had to wait for each load to dry and set up the drying rack in the air conditioning, with the dehumidifier, etc., now everything happens much faster.

Obviously, these apply to all dryers, but let's look at the positives of this specific one:

1) Huge drum!! To give you an idea, if you get a washing machine with X kg capacity, to have the same drum size in a dryer, you need at least 2 kg smaller capacity. This means you don't need to split a load into two batches, and being so spacious, it dries everything very well.

2) Very nice for anyone interested in this aspect. The fact that it is not the classic white box helps it fit into other spaces more easily, besides the bathroom.

3) It has a hose for connection to drainage (I don't think it's mentioned in the description).

4) The water container is quite large, which means you don't have to worry about the program stopping because it filled up with water, and if you're away, you don't waste time emptying it, losing drying time.

5) It has tinted glass, but with the internal light it has, you can see very well inside with the door closed.

6) It has several programs as well as the ability to adjust them as you wish.

7) Very good and easy application and connectivity with the mobile.

8) Locking feature so that children can't tamper with it easily for you and it's difficult for them to unlock it.

9) Handles on the sides for easier carrying. Be careful, it weighs 80 kg; you will need help (even better, a base).

10) Compared to others we asked, it wrinkles clothes a bit, depending on the program you use.

11) Minimal noise.

12) Very easy filter cleaning.

13) It came with the complete user manual, and we didn't need to download it from anywhere or contact the representative.

14) Every time I contacted Samsung Greece for various devices/information in general, I was satisfied.

15) Very easy to use.

Negatives:
So far, we haven't found any.

Other comments:
It takes up quite a bit of space (which is logical since it's 16 kg), so you should make sure before you get it that it can go up the stairs (otherwise, you'll need a crane), it fits through doors, and it will go where you want, given that it needs a little space around the device and shouldn't be pressed against the wall/other appliances, etc. It also emits a bit of heat, but that's something all dryers do; however, it's nothing bothersome.

In general, dryers are more expensive compared to washing machines, and this specific one is definitely quite pricey. Someone could buy 2 dryers with 8-10 kg capacity each for the same money. But that would take up much more space. For us, it was an excellent choice, and we are very satisfied; we highly recommend it.

P.S.: Many prefer a device that has both, meaning a washer-dryer combo. We do not recommend it because "double" appliances:

1) usually do not have filters, which results in dirt and lint entering the machine more easily, causing it to break down more easily and collect mold more easily.

2) fewer appliance options

3) if one function breaks down, you lose the other

4) from what we heard during our research on what to buy, they break down more often compared to separate appliances.

Update: in July, a few months after the purchase, it suddenly stopped working, showing an indication that the water tank needed to be emptied. We checked the water tank and it was empty, we turned the appliance off and on again, the problem persisted, we changed the setting so that the water would drain through a hose and not into the internal tank, but the problem persisted.

We called the service center, and within 2 working days they sent a technician, who, by blowing into the hose that drains the water outside the dryer, thought he had fixed it, while I emphasized that the problem occurred while we were using the drainage tank and not the hose. We let it run for a few minutes, it did not show any problem indication, and he left. As soon as he left, the same issues occurred again, so I called again, and ultimately we had to send it to them.

We had to find a transport company ourselves (in our case, a crane was needed, thus more hassle and cost) and arrange both the shipment and the pickup.

The total transport cost was covered by Samsung, as it is under warranty. The problem was fixed (some lint had entered a hose and needed cleaning), but they told us that, on the one hand, we need to clean all the filters daily, and on the other hand, we need to take the dryer for service/cleaning once a year to avoid problems in the future. The basic cleaning/service they told us costs 100-150 euros.

We were obviously disappointed because:
1) a new machine costing 1,400 € broke down
2) the technician was unhelpful
3) every year we will have to spend at least another 250 euros on a transport company for service, not to mention the service cost (another 100 euros at best)???
4) the user manual from Samsung states that the filter in the drum should be cleaned every time (ours has 2 filters, and we obviously clean them with every use), while the filter at the bottom of the dryer needs cleaning every 50 uses (we cleaned it every 5-10 uses, now we have to do it every time)
5) they called us from the service because supposedly, while they sent an email to Samsung reporting the problem, it never went through, and now someone needs to come to do it from home (it can be done through the dryer). And that they will pressure the headquarters, so if they can come immediately. (We are in another city due to vacation).
6) the transporters were unacceptable, so I don't know if and how much the machine was stressed during transport.
7) now the dryer does not seem to have such good assembly.

I wonder if we should have bought one for half the price or a third and avoided all of the above, simply changing the appliance every few years.

Purchased on 29/2/24, for 449 euros.

We chose it because it was an A energy class, with a 14kg drum, at a good price. We searched extensively both online and in physical stores to find reviews, see some things in person, and ask the salespeople for their opinion on different brands, etc.

Most salespeople advised against Candy, Morris, and Whirpool due to their quality and service. They recommended Bosch, LG, etc. Some said that it purely depends on luck and that all machines are the same in terms of quality/faults, as they have many electronic systems and are more prone to breaking. Everyone mentioned that old Candy machines were excellent, but the quality has deteriorated since then.

And indeed, a Candy washing machine that I had for 25 years never gave me any trouble, even after several moves, etc. We only replaced it because we needed a larger one.

We have used it about 30 times so far and I will definitely come back in the future for more details. (If you don't see any new negative reviews, it means it's working well.)

Pros:
So far, we are very satisfied. The washing machine has a satisfactory number of programs, but if you download the app, it has "countless" (probably more than 50), so you will definitely find what you need. Additionally, through the app, you can be notified when the cycle will finish, when it has finished, and you can select specific programs that you frequently use as favorites for quick access, etc.

I called Candy Greece and they answered promptly, providing helpful answers to my questions. Positive experience. They gave me the phone number for service/spare parts so I could inquire about the small accessory that you put in the detergent drawer to use liquid detergent instead of just powder, and I wasn't impressed, as I didn't get a clear answer.

Stable during washing, it doesn't move at all. It has soft plastic/rubber "feet" that help it remain stable and protected during transportation within the house (if you don't have a base). The washing time is exactly as stated. Minimal noise during washing, while there is a bit more noise during spinning (low sound, not high) and in no way is it bothersome.

Cons:
It comes without an instruction manual, and you either have to download it or contact the dealership to send it to you (I received it in my email within a few minutes, although I had already downloaded it). All they provide when you receive it are 2-3 pages written in Italian, French, etc. They don't include anything in English or Greek. However, the instruction booklet, when downloaded, is in Greek, although I believe it is not well-written and lacks sufficient explanatory photos. (Call if you have any concerns/questions.)

The door has a metal strip around it that I doubt will last long. I hope I'm proven wrong. The hoses it comes with for water supply and drainage are a bit short and thin, but overall, they are sufficient for an average bathroom. It has screws on the feet that, depending on whether you tighten/loosen them, adjust the height to prevent leaning. However, they have very little room to fit a medium-sized wrench. I, who have tools, couldn't fit the wrench on the screw to adjust the height, so we have a slight slope. I hope this doesn't cause any problems with the washing machine.

Overall, it has quite a few plastic parts that don't inspire absolute confidence in their durability. That's why it requires great attention when lifting/moving it from where you will hold it because, for example, right above the door there are some touch buttons that are on plastic and I feel that if you hold it from there (because it is convenient if you want to move it) you will cause damage. The only point that can be used for gripping is at the back, as shown in the photo. Therefore, it is generally inconvenient to transport/set up if you are alone.

General comments:
In the photo, you see a water bottle to get an idea of the size of the drum. The packaging in which we received it was average but sufficient to protect the corners/edges. Read the instructions carefully and remove the support screws of the drum. They are there for transportation. If you leave them, it makes a lot of noise, moves a lot, and can cause significant damage.

The detergent drawer has 3 compartments, one for detergent during the wash, one for fabric softener, and one for pre-wash (if you choose a program with pre-wash).

Some sellers told us that the difference in consumption between energy class A and B or A and A+ (depending on how each company symbolizes them until the new regulation is implemented everywhere) is significant, while others minimal. We ultimately chose the higher energy class.

In conclusion:
Are there better washing machines? Definitely. But for this price and with these features, no. That's why it gets 5 stars.

26/3/24: Be careful with the phones at the dealership. They theoretically have a simple charge, but they cost us 20 euros as we saw later in the bill, and with a very short duration of the call. Other than that, everything is okay with nearly 50 uses so far.

10/4/24: A few days ago, we were washing some bathroom mats and during the spin cycle, the washing machine started making a lot of noise and moving, something it hadn't done until now. We tried again and the same thing happened (both times at maximum speed).

I sent an email to the dealership on Friday night, and they replied on Monday and arranged for a technician to come the next day. He found everything okay, it was a loading error, and I explain: few items and very absorbent. Which means that the washing machine cannot balance the load properly during spinning, and that's why it did what it did.

The person explained to us that the washing machine should be almost completely full, to be precise, full with a palm-sized empty space on top so that the clothes have room to move and clean through friction. This, as he told us, is the guideline given by the company's representative in the seminars they conduct.

Generally, we used to put smaller loads for better results, but he explained that this is not good because the clothes do not "spread out" uniformly during spinning in the drum, and unbalanced forces are created due to centrifugal force, which causes noise and "jumping". Similarly, if the load is very absorbent, such as rugs, towels, etc., it absorbs a lot of water and creates a similar problem as before.

If we want to wash such loads, he told us to, for example, put many clothes and few towels, and use low spin speeds, or if it's only towels, not to stack them or to use the minimum spin speed. Since then, by properly filling the washing machine, we have had no problems. Everything is fine.

It doesn't work. The console opens, you select games but you can't play, the character doesn't react no matter what you do. The same applies to both controllers/players. It's a shame, the kids were disappointed....

I bought it because I read only positive comments and no negative ones (although few in total).

1) Very fast indeed, 1-1.5 minutes to finish the whole dose. The first ones start popping after a few seconds.

2) It uses hot air, which comes out at the base of the metal tube and gives a circular motion to the popcorn as it heats up.

3) As the popcorn starts popping, they fly out with considerable force and also carry seeds, so you have to collect those that didn't pop and put them back in. This seems to be the case with all machines that use the same method.

4) The seeds that remain inside the container will definitely pop.

5) You need to tilt the container to collect the popcorn that comes out, but still, some will definitely jump out/fall down as I mentioned before, quite forcefully.

6) The container you will use will get quite hot from the hot air that the device emits from the same outlet as the popcorn, so be careful.

7) It is forbidden to put anything inside the device, such as salt, oil, butter, etc. You put them plain to pop.

8) In case it is not clear in the photo, the maximum height is about 28 centimeters.

9) The included measuring cup corresponds to an amount approximately equal to a ping pong ball.

10) Most of them do not become crispy, but rather soft. They become better in the microwave, meaning more crispy.

11) The good thing is that it has a measuring cup, you put it in, press the button, and in 1 minute you have popcorn. It takes a little longer in the microwave (slightly longer).

It's worth buying it just for the fun, kids enjoy it because they are small, but otherwise, it's not great. Although I don't have a picture of other similar devices, I estimate that the same will apply to the others that work with hot air.

Excellent book with clever, rhythmic verses and wonderful illustrations with vibrant colors. My 2.5-year-old daughter loved it. I highly recommend it.
