Wonderful shoe. I have a slight overpronation and they helped me in running (but also in walking) to step correctly without the ankle rolling inward. Of course, they don't save you 100%, but compared to "neutral" shoes, I can now go comfortably without feeling intense strain on my ankles and knees.

I believe that this is not a shoe that should be worn by someone with a neutral foot, as they will feel the extra support in the arch excessively and it may cause them problems.

After running about 400-500km with them in 10 months (plus regular daily use for walking, office, etc.), I started to feel that they have lost some of their cushioning and they started to tire me. Note that I am 180cm tall and 80kg. So now I use them as a second pair when running in rain/mud, and they cover me just fine.

At the current 600km mark, the sole has started to noticeably wear out in the front part, and a corner has even come off. But this may be because I also played basketball with the shoes and put them through directional changes.

I see in other comments people mentioning holes in the fabric, etc. Mine still look like new with no damage to the inner or outer fabric, laces, etc. Any wear is only visible on the sole and midsole.

I consider them on par with the Guide 16, or maybe I prefer these because I feel they fit my anatomy a little better.

Classic thermal for activities. It's not the shirt that will keep you warm in freezing temperatures. It's a base layer that you will wear during activities where you will warm up and sweat. I wear it for running/tennis/hiking in temperatures below 10 degrees.

Together with a fleece, nothing gets through. Usually, I take off the fleece after warming up. In extreme cases, I might add another intermediate layer, but usually when you start exerting yourself, you don't need anything more.

If you want thermal for more static situations or freezing temperatures, there is the corresponding Coldgear from UA, which is thicker and provides insulation. This specific one is primarily aimed at removing sweat so you don't become wet and freeze.

In terms of quality, I would say it's very good. You definitely feel the synthetic material, but that's the point with all thermals.

For sizing, I would go true to size. I am 75-85 kg, 184 cm, and I'm great with the large. It should be tight on the body without gaps and wrinkles.
