The Ripjaws S5 is aimed at demanding computer users, such as gamers, professionals in the field of video and image processing, designers, and those who require high performance from their computer.
DDR5 is the fifth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR4 and offers increased speeds and capacity.
For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The DDR5 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Specifically, DDR5 is compatible with the Alder Lake, Raptor Lake, and the latest Intel processors, as well as the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors.
However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to make sure that your motherboard supports DDR5 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.
The XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory, without the need for manual settings. (XMP/EXPO) is easily enabled from the BIOS, it is available in certain RAM memories and supported by certain motherboards.
