  They were installed in a 2/4 pattern on an MSI x670e gaming plus wifi motherboard. They were recognized at the first BIOS post at 4800MHz, with the yellow LED on the motherboard lit, which usually indicates functionality or compatibility issues with the memory. I immediately performed a BIOS update, and the "problem" was resolved after the restart. Then, through the BIOS and the XMP profile feature, they were set to the correct frequency of 6000MHz, and finally! Tuning of the A-RGB lighting through the MSI Control Center and Mystic Light software.

  I want to help as much as I can those who don't know how to make them work at 6000mhz from 4800mhz for AMD and GIGABYTE mainboards and AMD EXPO memory..
  (it would be good to do a BIOS UPDATE if available)
  Let's go to the BIOS and:
  1) we go from EASY MODE to ADVANCED MODE
  2) select the TWEAKER tab
  3) it will say XMP/EXPO, we click and select EXPO 1
  4) Low Latency Support we set to ENABLE
  5) XMP/EXPO High Bandwidth Support we set to ENABLE
  6) UCLK DIV 1 MODE we select UCLK=MEMCLK
  7) DDR_VDD Voltage we set FOR THESE SPECIFIC ONES to 1.35V
  8) SAVE & EXIT
  give a little time for the boot

  This RAM was one of my top choices for an AM5 system. The motherboard I used is the Tomahawk B650 and everything works flawlessly, even with the 7800x3d which had sensitivity issues with RAM, especially with timings & latency, but with this Z5 Neo CL30 RAM it runs perfectly.

  I enabled EXPO in the BIOS, set the frequency to 6000MHz from the stock 4800 DDR5, and everything worked perfectly.

  The AM5 platform does memory training on every PC boot, so the PC may take some time to open each time, needing up to 1.5 minutes of training before it starts booting into Windows. (With a memory context restore, however, you can skip this 1.5 minutes and boot in 20 seconds.)

  The Z5 Neo version of this RAM kit is specifically designed for AMD EXPO systems, while the plain Z5 only supports XMP. It is likely that a simple Z5 will also work with an AMD processor via XMP, as AM5 motherboards support both EXPO and XMP.

  XMP and EXPO are essentially the same system, with one being for Intel and the other for AMD, both aiming to increase frequencies with stability. But having an EXPO verified RAM kit, the manufacturer guarantees its proper operation with an AM5 platform and AMD processors.

  In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful ram kits ever, the kit is stable and runs at advertised speed on my AMD system. Please make sure you enable either EXPO I or EXPO II in the bios in order to take advantage of the full specifications.
