I will only talk about open water swimming because it is the sport I am involved in, which requires a very good GPS signal from the respective watch (running, cycling, etc. are all included). I am impressed with this particular watch for its accuracy in open water. By selecting the GPS option: all+ multi band, it measures very well without any interruption to find the signal or delay in measurement, etc. For me, it is the best. I believe someone who is involved in open water swimming needs either the 255 or 955 or the fenix 7 sapphire, which have the corresponding GPS indicators.
I bought it from the JMC tech store through the Scroutz website. Initially, it said it would take 10 to 30 days, but it took 40 days to arrive. Then, after ten days of use, it prompted me to do an update and the screen froze on a triangle without being able to do anything else. I let the battery drain, charged it again, and the triangle still appeared. I have sent it to the company for service, and they told me it will take another 30 business days. So, three months after ordering, I still don't have a watch in my hands.
What it doesn't have is that you can't talk from the watch.
After 15 months of use, I remain excited.

Easy to use, very good battery.. just a slightly better screen in terms of colors and brightness
The watch face broke within 2 and a half months of purchase; I never understood how, I just saw it damaged at some point. The warranty does not cover the crack, nor does the service cover the repair of the glass. The dealership asks for 156 euros for a watch replacement when it was purchased for 270. The whole process takes 1 month. Its measurements are very good! For a broken watch face that could easily happen during sports activities, you need 3/4 of the value of the watch... Garmin, you're not doing well at all...
In a year it broke. I never learned the reason. They replaced it under warranty and sent me a new watch in my old open box with wrinkled plastic stuck on the screen. Obviously, they had it in some display store. The shipping costs were, of course, mine. Service was very good from the staff.
I have had it for 8 months. I didn't get it for tracking sports activities (although it is very good at that) but for monitoring sleep, heart rate, and oxygen saturation during it. I have checked it and it really does a very good job tracking the above. It has many different features that you can monitor from the GARMINEXPRESS app on the PC
A watch that is suitable for running as well as general activities is worth trying out!
If it's your first sports watch, get it without a second thought. If you have a 235 or 245, get it after a second thought. Besides being a very good sports watch, it is also a great health assistant.
Very good watch with accuracy. The GPS is fantastic, showing in detail the parts I ran. Its battery is unbelievable, after 8 days of use with simple GPS on, I put it on charge at 20%.
1. In the first comparison test of the built-in heart rate sensor with the polar OH1, the measurements of the pulses were exactly the same and reliable.
2. As for the sensors integrated into the watch, it is a cheap 955 without a touch screen and maps, with slightly lower autonomy!
3. The watch is made of plastic and you don't feel it on your hand as it is lightweight and compact.
4. Definitely one of the top 3 midrange sport watches up to 400 euros!
Unfortunately, one of the worst straps, if not the worst, I have ever seen! Completely flimsy. You think that by tightening it a little, it will stay in your hand. When the time comes to take it off, that's when the trouble starts. The loop through which the strap passes gets dangerously stuck, and I see it lasting for about 2-3 months.
In terms of functionality, it's fine without me having dealt with it
