The watch is the most value for money you can buy at this moment. Terrific GPS accuracy, a lot of activities and features, its maps are incredibly useful especially in the mountains and some bugs that were present have been fixed with an update. Now for the negatives or rather not negatives but 2nd thoughts that some may have. 1. Durability: The watch is plastic, it is very lightweight but its screen is exposed and has no frame to protect it, so if you are a bit clumsy or use it in more extreme activities, it's a concern. 2. If you are looking for a smartwatch to answer calls and talk, go elsewhere/ this is purely a fitness watch. 3. The heart rate readings are very accurate but in intense activities like sprinting or very rapid increases in pace, there is a delay just like with any optical heart rate sensor, this can only be resolved with a chest strap for 100% accuracy.
Absolutely satisfied, it has everything in terms of features, it has nothing to envy from the very expensive models of the company. At €350, which I found on sale, it is absolute value for money. The battery lasts 10 days with daily use from the workouts I do
Easy to use, manageable Garmin Connect. It changes the way you train with what it provides, but I didn't expect such a poor screen resolution. For those looking for something more readable, it's good to reconsider
Guys, this watch is the best, you don't even feel like you're wearing a watch.. Before buying any watch, go and try it on your wrist!
Battery life, I would say about 1 week with daily exercise.
Beautiful.. you can wear it for a walk..
The accuracy is amazing for running, but I bought it for general use...
So, the problem for the 4 stars is the following!
In swimming, in a 25-meter pool, it loses quite a bit.. and when I say quite a bit, I mean it doesn't track correctly in any training.. meaning, if you set it for a 25-meter pool where I have swum.. you swim 300 meters.. and it shows one lap as 300 meters, the next as 325, the next as 350.. so in the end, you have 100 extra meters in your training, so the calories burned don't match the time, etc..
It stops exactly in between when I stop during the breaks of 30''-1' (the distances are either 200 meters in a row or 300 meters, so there is no room for mistakes)
I hope something changes somehow with an update, etc.. it doesn't have more options in the settings to say that I am making a mistake.
(Owner of an Apple Watch for 8 years, I decided to change)
With the Apple Watch, the accuracy was 349 meters, for example, we had no exceptions anywhere, I'm not comparing them, each one has its beauty, I just wanted fewer mistakes here because the money is the same and it's a shame..) I will come back with an update, hopefully, I will change it to 5 stars!
When you transition from an old forerunner (230), it feels like going from a Lada to a Ferrari.
Its screen has good clarity and all the functions are as expected. The map has a slight difficulty in handling, but you get used to it.
Overall, very satisfied with how quickly it acquires GPS signal and its battery life (using GPS 4 times a week for 1-1.5 hours each time, the battery definitely lasts 1 week).
The price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. Personally, I preferred the forerunner over a Fenix because it is plastic and lighter in the hand.
