After 10 years with Plantronics, I switched to Jabra Talk 25 SE.
The sound quality is excellent, on the same level if not better than the Explorers I had!
I give it 4 stars because the silicone that goes inside the ear didn't fit me well, so I had to use the old one from Plantronics.
Also, with Plantronics, when you pressed their button, they would tell you the battery level, which doesn't happen with Jabra and I have to go to the Android settings every time to see it.
Attention:
Jabra Talk 25 SE is Bluetooth 5.0
Jabra Talk 25 is Bluetooth 4.0
The volume, even at maximum, is low, resulting in not being able to hear in a noisy environment. Forget about music.
One with difficulty, just because it is discreet. Previously, I got a turbo x that fit perfectly, sound far better, you heard an amazing battery double and for just €14. I thought to get a stylish one for €45 and I just see it in my drawer to remind me of my mistake.
Size is good
battery life is good
the interlocutor hears well
if the speaker had a little more volume it would be perfect
When there is noise you struggle to hear
If it had less than one star, I would give it....
Everything works just fine, but such a terrible speaker.....
It shouldn't be allowed to be sold...
You can't hear anyone!!!!
wasted money!!!
where are you Plantronics????? :-)
What others write... stay away because it has nothing to do with the previous model... the SE makes a difference in volume... you can't hear anything if there is a little noise or if you are outside on the street... I tested it with my wife's S23ultra and with the Vivo X90 pro plus that I have... with the previous model, you could hear normally and loudly... someone who writes here to disable something to increase the volume, let them correct their post so that we understand what they are saying and save us from a new purchase... it's a shame that Plantronics has been discontinued
It lasts about 24 hours with 1 mobile phone on calls and voice instructions (maps) until it runs out. With 2 mobile phones simultaneously, it lasts 16 hours. You can see the battery percentage from the mobile phone. Good range. It has two hooks which are different sizes.
I had three Jabra Talk 25 before, which either broke due to frequent use or wear and tear (justifiably), but I was so satisfied with the sound quality that I would buy them again without hesitation. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the latest one with "se" at the end. UNACCEPTABLE!! In order to hear the other person, you have to be in a completely quiet space! The sound is so low that you can't even hear the recorded connection message when you open it. I tried various solutions that I found below or through searching, but it did not improve at all! At least not on my Samsung phone. But what can I do, change my phone for Bluetooth? In the previous ones, the sound was excellent! I compare it to the latest one I have, which simply has a terrible battery life. Same phone, same sound settings, DAY and NIGHT! Stay away from the SE!
I had read in the comments about low sound intensity in the headset. Finally, the problem is solved by disabling the Bluetooth settings where it is possible to have maximum sound intensity. Therefore, you have the ability to manually adjust the sound with the volume at maximum. The sound is significantly enhanced, similar to the Jabra Talk 25 that I had before. The battery is very good and the application is perfect value for money
The sound intensity is UNACCEPTABLE. If you are in the car and have the window slightly open, you will not be able to hear your conversation partner, even in a quiet environment. If the other person speaks softly, you will struggle to hear them.
If you are walking on a moderately busy street, there is no chance of having a dialogue...
Literally a waste of money since it fails to fulfill its basic purpose.
3 stars because the intensity is lower in the jabra 25 se than in the previous one. I have purchased the previous one 3 times (jabra 25).
Emergency solution since there are no better options (e.g. plantronics) anymore..
One of its major drawbacks is the low volume of the headset: it is difficult to hear the interlocutor when you are outside
I have it for about 6-7 months. Its battery is amazing and I would say superior to what I have tried so far, even from the expensive Voyager series of Plantronics. Also, very good connectivity/never gets stuck. Negatives: Others don't hear me very well and often I have to repeat what I say. A more serious issue is the small plastic hook, which if you want to wear it, you have to do it with both hands. Also, after 25-30 minutes of use, the ear canal starts to hurt due to its materials.
The closest thing to the Plantronics I used. When it's windy, it doesn't cut out as much as the Plantronics.
Update after 1 year of use: I can hear the caller very low. At first, it was tolerable but it got worse over time. If I'm not somewhere quiet, I prefer to disconnect it and talk through the phone
The third Jabra I use, after the Classic and the Talk 25. Well, an even better experience. It never experiences random disconnections (the modern Bluetooth version definitely plays a role), I can hear and be heard clearly by everyone, and the battery life is impressive. I wear it all day, every day, all calls are made through it, and the battery lasts for over a week! Recommended!
Good sound for calls, connects quickly, battery lasts for days (with daily and frequent use). The negative is the earpiece cover, it does not fit well in the ear and does not attach tightly to the earpiece so it often falls out, and the hook is thin and flexible, making it difficult to use (the cover shown in the photo is from Plantronics)
One of the best on the market right now! They are worth the money and of course I recommend them! I've had it for years!!! Everything is great!!!
Due to work, I use headphones all day, after the gap left by plactronics in the market.. A chaos in my life!!! As a result, every 3-4 months I search for a headphone because they only last that long from work... hundreds of € wasted on purchases of various models and brands to find a worthy replacement for the explorer 55.... In recent years, I had settled with the talk 45 which accurately started acting up at 4 months and simply died at 5, warranty and all, and back to square one. As for the talk 25, I hadn't tried it because after being disappointed by the above model (disaster) from the company, I thought it was impossible for the previous one to be better, but after a few days with it, I can say that after a long time, I am excited about the call quality.... Only time will tell, 4 stars because it's still early.
No relation to the previous classic. Weak intensity, disconnects when you open your voice, on the third charge it broke and didn't even turn on. At least when I sent it back, I got my money back!
Very mediocre headset for the money. Sound with echo, not clear at all, many times the other person can't distinguish what you're saying. I would not recommend it at all
Perhaps the most value for money bluetooth handsfree available on the market right now. Of course, the price has gone up now, but I got it for €25. It is exactly the same as the Plantronics 50. The sound and conversation quality are excellent for this money. The only issue is that the hook it comes with is a bit small, so you can change it with the other one that comes in the pouch.
First time I bought such a device in general. Very good. Battery easily lasts a day and a half after quite a bit of use (only talking, not listening to music). I highly recommend it.
Amazing intensity, voice clarity, and exceptional size.
It does not fall out of the ear if you only use the silicone support.
The only drawback I encountered is that after 6-7 hours of continuous use (not taking it out at all), it starts to bother you in the ear if you use the silicone support in combination with the external plastic.
It does not have a long range, it does not fit well in the ear, but it has a crystal clear sound and a long battery life
From all perspectives, it is good (price, quality, battery, etc.)
The only negative is that it does not fit well in my ear and falls off with the slightest movement
A good bluetooth, not better than the Plantronic 55 I had. At first, it didn't fit well in my ear, but when I put on the second hook that comes in the package, it fit perfectly to the point where you forget you're wearing it. The big difference with the Plantronic 55 is that its battery doesn't last as long, but still it's a very good tool.
For now, it has turned out very good! I didn't expect it because I was aiming for something affordable that I would like visually. So far, it is flawless
Very good Bluetooth. The connection with the mobile phone the first time is very easy. If you move away and lose the connection, it reconnects immediately as soon as it comes back within range. It has clear sound and I can hear clearly without much noise. The earpiece is like a handful, meaning it doesn't suction to the ear hole, so you can hear well and also hear the surrounding sounds. The ear doesn't hurt after prolonged use unless you press it all the time to go further inside. Very satisfied. I bought it because of the earpiece, as I mentioned before. Owner of Plantronics Explorer 55 which unfortunately was discontinued and this is the closest thing I found in its construction.
I am very satisfied with this product and I am a user who wears it ALL day long due to work (morning - driver, evening - delivery). I have bought it again and I have already stocked up on another one so I don't have to search when this one breaks since I found it so useful. It does bite a little in the price but what can we do.
For the money, it's the best after 1 year of use. A bit annoying in the ear when worn for a long time, but I guess everything is somewhat like that
The Bluetooth is very good. Before this, I had the Plantronics 110 if I remember the model correctly!
However, this one is better.
It has a fast connection with the phone.
Better sound! I can hear them and they can hear me loudly and clearly!
The battery lasts long enough!
THE ONLY NEGATIVE, the terrible silicone that goes into the ear! It can't stay without the hook on the ear, which I find tragic! So, I replaced the silicone with what you see in the photos and found my peace!
PS I have a thing for Bluetooth! I have over 10 at home. This one is the top!
