Coming from the G29, which I left after 8 years of ownership, my first impressions are that it has a clearly improved force feedback, but not in terms of hardware, although its operation is much quieter. Trueforce has been added (which I have only used so far in BeamNG because there are few games that support it anyway) that somewhat better represents the vibrations from the car's engine. As for the pedals, many will say that nothing has changed (not even the feel of the brake), but in reality, there have been signs of internal improvement in the potentiometers, and yet the performance and accuracy compared to the previous ones are noticeable.
BUT when, at this moment, the timeless G29 continues to sell for around €80 less than this one, I personally don't believe it's worth putting the money into the G923, unless you get a good price without much difference like I did along with the shifter.
Update 08.01.2025: I am not the only one with this specific issue; of course, we are always talking about Logitech quality, especially for an entry-level steering wheel. If you shake the wheel left and right, you will realize that it is not that sturdy (it wobbles). It is relatively easy to solve the problem by tightening the internal screws that hold the base of the wheel, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to make a warranty claim at worst. Although it's normal due to quality, it is annoying.
The only negative thing is that it makes a lot of noise when you crash and hit the car or when you fall on a bumpy road.. Other than that, it is excellent in terms of quality with a nice response, worth the money

Is the steering wheel securely fastened to the desk?
The steering wheel is amazing. I use it for both PC and Xbox Series S.
So far, I've only been playing Forza Horizon 5 and Dirt Rally 2.0. The response is simply "unbelievable". It feels like you're actually crashing, the whole desk shakes. It accurately reproduces every sensation from the road, from collisions to front, back, left, and right. It's a must-have, especially when paired with the Logitech Driving Force joystick (which is an extra).

Is the steering wheel securely fastened to the desk?
It is ok... And especially now that the price has dropped, I believe it's worth it... It just makes a lot of noise with all these technologies (something that if you make a call, you only hear the rotation of the steering wheel)... But yes
