Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I had purchased this specific mouse through Skroutz in October 2022, and as of writing this comment in May 2024, the mouse is still in excellent condition with almost daily and extended use. I had bought it for around €50 or at most €60, I don't remember exactly. It has a very comfortable grip and has never tired me. It is an excellent gaming mouse, especially for FPS games where precision in clicks is needed. Of course, it is also suitable for everyday simple use (e.g., Google, emails, etc.), although I consider it a waste for someone to spend so much money on a mouse if they don't play games, as they can get a mouse that performs equally well for half the price or even less. The two buttons below the scroll wheel (the top one increases DPI and the bottom one decreases it) are very convenient. The DPI (Dots Per Inch) can go up to 20,000, which I believe is useless (impractical) for 99.99% of people. At this point, you move the mouse by one millimeter and the cursor goes from one end of the screen to the other. In general, I don't know how it would be useful for anyone to have anything higher than 10,000 DPI (personally, I have never used more than 5,000 DPI). The two buttons on the left side of the mouse are also very convenient. Their default use is to go forward and backward on web pages while browsing the internet, but you can also customize them to correspond to any keys you want through Razer Synapse... Alright... I've said enough!

I bought it because my (amazing) Logitech G700, which I used for 5-6 years for demanding tasks (CAD - cartography - GIS, as well as image, video, and music editing), eventually lost its stability in the left button, so single or double clicks sometimes required a lot of force. The Razer Deathadder v2 RGB obviously has lower quality materials, fewer extra buttons and features, and no wireless functionality, which I rarely used anyway. However, it has the basic features I wanted: good grip and accuracy (despite being much lighter) and programmable functions for commands in my programs (via Razer Central). So, I decided to give it a try and not spend double or triple the money on a mouse. (Note: the RGB is flawless and has multiple profile settings - such as solid color, alternating, and reactive to sound - but I personally don't care about these.) I would be completely satisfied if, after just 1 year, the scroll wheel didn't prove to be problematic: its downward scrolling has become so erratic that I prefer to navigate lists and websites using the mouse pointer on the sidebars rather than the scroll wheel... That's why I gave it 3 stars. If the scroll wheel worked without issues, it would be the perfect cost-performance choice.

The clicks still remain like new, they haven't loosened at all. After that, I got the Razer Basilik V3 and in the end, it didn't suit me (+ the fact that its RGB doesn't save after every PC start-up), since I got used to this one. I bought the Deathadder V2 again. It is definitely worth its price and more. It's hard to change a mouse when you're used to a specific one.

It's one of the best gaming mouse, with lots of settings through the razer synapse app. The DPI control of the range of 50 up to 20.000 gives you the opportunity to do all of your daily routine and hardcore gaming. I had purchased it 150€ back in the day , but today's price is perfect for what it offers. 100% Recommended!!

2023-04-15Expert userAfter many high-end mice from the company, such as the Razer Viper Ultimate, Viper V2 Pro, Basilisk, etc., I ended up with this one. It's a convenient size and weight, and I believe it will fit most hand sizes. Its side buttons are incredibly convenient and harder to accidentally press compared to other Razer mice. The build quality is the well-known Razer quality that those who know the brand understand. I didn't expect much from a €40 mouse, but it didn't disappoint me at all. Choosing to go back to the same style of mouse but just a newer model was almost certain, simply because I have become accustomed to the specific "grab/hand placement" style and I don't want to change it.
The capabilities are also good with very high DPI, fast response time, and a very nice and durable cable so it doesn't easily break. Anyone who has the same experience as me will not be disappointed with this purchase, and of course, we should add that the price is now at very low levels (I specifically bought it for 35 euros), so it is definitely value for money.
*Of course, there are better mice if you want something with more "Binding keys for games (MMORPG)".
-The mouse also works perfectly with profiles in the Razer Synapse application.~Now that the V3 Deathadder has been released, someone may want to invest directly in it for something more in terms of specifications, but they will definitely pay about twice as much.

2023-03-21Expert CreatorThe second generation of the highly successful Deathadder model by Razer was released about three years ago and has since received love from gamers everywhere and beyond. After two years of daily use and a review later, let's see what I have to say!
The Deathadder V2 is large in size, sturdy but remains (relatively) lightweight at 82g for comfortable and easy use. It has a total of 8 buttons, 7 on the top and one on the bottom for selecting different profiles, which are defined in Razer Synapse. The logo and scroll wheel are illuminated, with their colors and type also adjustable in Synapse.
It is the most comfortable I have used, after the Razer Taipan. About 10 hours of daily use does not disappoint in any area, whether it's gaming, audio and image editing programs, or office work.
The 20,000 DPI sensor, although obviously not used to its maximum capabilities (at least not by me), is there as proof of where Razer can and wants to go with its mice. The response to commands is of course very fast, with Optical Switches offering more comfortable clicks, less latency, and longer lifespan compared to mechanical switches. The buttons are relatively quiet.
The Razer Deathadder V2 fits perfectly in my hand, is fairly quiet, and the cable does not tangle at all, even on a cluttered desk between monitors and other peripheral cables.
With Synapse software, you can maintain settings in a cloud environment on any computer. And of course, there are plenty of millions of colors to choose from, which, like stickers, increase FPS in games. Okay, maybe not.
The only thing that bothers me, although I don't need it, is its construction for exclusive use by right-handers. If I were left-handed, I would envy it a lot! Apart from that, it really is an excellent mouse, at a very competitive price, and judging from other Razer products, the Deathadder V2 will be "my right hand" for several more years. With a price of around €40-45 in the Greek market right now, the only competition it has is itself.

-The grip is very comfortable for medium to large hands.
-It was purchased for 32 euros, which I consider a very good price for what it offers.
-It replaced the deathadder essential, compared to which it has much better side grips and the clicks on the buttons are much better, it also has dpi buttons on the mouse (although I adjust everything with synapse so I don't use them).
-The rgb is very nice as in all razer products.
-It scrolls nicely on both a cheap gamebird mousepad I had and the more premium steelseries xxl I have now.
-The scroll wheel continues to work perfectly without making the slightest sound (in the essential it started creaking after 2-3 months)
-The braided cable is of very good quality and does not hinder the use of the mouse as it feels wireless.Now for the negatives.
-The only negative I consider is the weight, as it is quite light, I would like it a little heavier, but that is purely a matter of taste and how each person prefers it.
This particular model has been paired with the razer blackwidow 2019 chroma and the razer kraken ultimate. A review of the razer kraken will be done in a few months, as I have only had them for 4 months.

However, I encountered a problem with the installed Razer Synapse app for adjusting the RGB lighting. 1-2 times a week, when it started up during PC boot and the lighting turned on, it would then shut down and stop working, requiring me to unplug and replug the USB to "wake it up". Even after firmware and driver updates, the issue persisted. In the end, I uninstalled Synapse and it hasn't happened again. I'm not too concerned about the RGB settings.

The side buttons are conveniently placed, the scroll wheel is much better than the first Deathadder, and it glides smoothly on every mousepad I've tried it on! It's lightweight and has dpi adjustment buttons on the body of the mouse. I haven't used the Razer application, so I don't have an opinion on button programming, etc. I recently bought it for the second time because, even with 30 mice side by side in a store, I couldn't find another one that satisfied me more, even from the same company!
