Description

PETG Filament Transparent Green 1.75 mm, 1000 g for 3D printers is high-quality, produced in the Netherlands. PETG is ideal for beginners and newcomers in the field, as it is easy to print and offers a good balance between printability and durability. The base material is very transparent, providing semi-transparent results. PETG has greater thermal resistance compared to other materials due to the higher printing temperature. If you notice (very) stringing, it is recommended to try a higher temperature. PET-G (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a very durable thermoplastic, with a beautiful glossy finish. Printing with PETG is almost as easy as with PLA and requires a bit more effort. The adhesion of the material is very strong, so the first layer should be pressed just as much as with PLA, as the material can create droplets around the nozzle and ruin the print. Layer adhesion is excellent, making the final results very strong and flexible. PETG does not stick well to other materials, as the glue does not have good adhesion. Another advantage of PETG is that the neutral palettes are nearly transparent like glass, offering the opportunity to produce wonderful clear colors. PET-G can be printed with or without a heated bed with minimal or no warping. It is recommended to use a heated bed at 65 degrees, as the print will automatically release as it cools. For extrusion, the optimal temperature is 245 degrees, as a lower temperature may cause more stringing.

This review is about the colour: Orange

Very disappointing, tested at 230, 240, 250, 260. 0% fan 20 - 30 - 35 - 40. Printer Bambu A1, has very poor line separation, the 1st layer stuck to the bed, if I removed it right after the print finished it was deformed, if I removed it when it was completely cool it stayed on the bed, I managed to remove it well at about 40 degrees but still very dissatisfied.
