I got it to replace the immortal Plantronics Discovery 975 which after 10 years now has low sound in the earpiece and I can't hear the conversation partner well (other than that it's fine). Unfortunately, there aren't many notable quality options available today for single Bluetooth, meaning primarily intended for conversation. I use it only with the silicone earbud without the earhook and it is very stable in the ear and very lightweight. Immediate connectivity, good sound volume level (I would like one click more), no conversation partner has complained about how they hear me, I hope it lasts over time. Purchase at around 65 euros.
Update 09/2024: Two years later I am still very satisfied for the reason I bought it (conversation on phone calls). The issue of automatic answering that some people mention I also encountered, but it was resolved as soon as I disabled the automatic call answering on my phone. On a Poco phone with MIUI, the setting is found in Apps - System app settings - Call settings - Auto-answer where I set it to Off (I assume in Greek it is Εφαρμογές - Εφαρμογές συστήματος - Ρυθμίσεις κλήσεις - Αυτόματη απάντηση). In the last few days (2 years after the purchase) it has had 2-3 instances of momentary disconnection and reconnection. If I see that it's something persistent or needs a reset, I will update.
The battery is good!! It's not very comfortable in the ear like the Plantronics were but they are no longer available... It's not strong enough to hear the other person clearly, so you have to press it to your ear and that gets tiring... I wouldn't buy it again!!!
Very nice. Lightweight and with good battery life. It fits well in the ear and has clear sound.
- Sometimes it answers calls by itself.
Tragic simply...wasted money... speaks a user who wears it 7 days a week for 12 hours straight the Bluetooth
Don't listen to anyone, just me, hahahaha I'll tell you why I'm saying this!!! I have been working with headsets for demanding conversations for 20 years, I have bought everything, like the Talk 45, NONE compare. I have had this one for 5 years, ABSOLUTELY NO problems, interference 0 even in the most unusual situations (full signals around me 2.4GHz, 5GHz, VHF and the like) battery????? Even after 5 years I haven't noticed any significant difference!!! CLOSE your eyes and buy it no matter the price!!!!
You can barely hear what they say, but you can hear it anyway, even with the window open while in motion. The battery is good, it sits in the ear okay, and people can hear me fine.
It didn't withstand the test of time. It doesn't sound clear anymore and the plastic protector that goes in the ear has come off
The bluetooth only answers calls by itself even when it is on the table. This is a flaw of the voice control that appears very often in this specific model from what I read. We will have to buy another one because problems are created. It is completely useless.
It answers calls on its own when it is turned on, even when you have it placed on the desk. There is no option to disable this specific function.
I bought it for two reasons. The hook and the ambient sound that was entering the microphone of the previous headset and making it difficult for the person I was calling. Both purposes were served. It's worth its money.
They are not bad headphones, their biggest drawback, however, is that they do not have sound adjustment. The volume of the sound is one, either satisfies you or not. If I knew specifically this flaw, I would not buy them.
Jabra Talk 45 Black
Poor sound quality, problematic for communication. It is definitely not worth the money. It is very difficult to hear the interlocutor. It answers on its own. I have noticed that it happens when I speak in front of it, meaning it thinks it receives a voice command to answer.
Mediocre fit in the ear. It does not fit well, something that did not happen with previous headphones I had. The earpiece protector constantly comes off, and lately, after a few months of having it, I cannot hear my conversation partner well.
I use it for Teams & Phone, I am satisfied, I would like it to connect to two devices but it doesn't matter. I have worked with much more expensive models but I have no complaints. They hear me clearly and offer some basic noise cancelling. The ear clips fit perfectly, but I believe they are not oriented towards a female ear. If you buy them, be sure to do a firmware upgrade through the site because it solves connectivity issues.
Good sound but many disadvantages.
Very poor application, probably too big for my ear, very poor silicone resulting in direct ear pain, many disconnections during use, battery not so good with moderate use. Not worth its money.
The only negative thing is that sometimes it answers on its own due to voice assistance. And I don't know if you can disable it
Very good noise cancellation, moderate comfort when worn for a long time, if you wear it with a helmet, the button is constantly pressed and enters pairing mode (but there is a solution), VERY EASY to remove and lose the "silicone cover" that covers the speaker. Moderate battery, relatively weak speaker, in a noisy environment I would like more volume. With a helmet, it rarely "understands" the "answer" command to answer the call vocally. Ultimately, it is of good quality, one of the few options in its category, it's a pity that Jabra doesn't perfect some details.
The previous one I had was Plantronics, which I was fully satisfied with, but after years of use, the volume in the earpiece decreased. So the comparison is made with the Plantronics.
The earpiece and microphone are excellent. I can hear very well and I have no complaints from my callers.
In the first few days, I thought it was a bit tiring on the ear after many hours, but I got used to it.
It has a slightly shorter range than the Plantronics. In some areas where I could continue talking normally with the Plantronics, this one disconnects.
The voice commands have a little issue, if you are talking to someone in the room and the phone rings, it may answer on its own...
Unfortunately, it does not pronounce contacts with Greek characters. With the Plantronics, I could be in the next room from my phone, but when it rang, it would tell me the name of the contact calling me. Now I have to go to the phone to see or have it with me all the time.
From the best and most reliable headphones I have used. Comparable to the Plantronics I had before.
I am relatively satisfied. Small complaint about the application. My ear hurts after a long time of use and the sound is mediocre. Others hear me perfectly. Excellent connectivity, quality, and durability at very good levels. I would reconsider buying it only because of the sound.
I got it to connect to my mobile phone and our Yealink office phone. I couldn't get it to connect to the Yealink, so I ended up giving it to my wife to use only with her mobile. It's really good, except for the fact that it doesn't connect to Yealink (at least not easily!)
Due to work, I wear it constantly.
Very good connection, very good sound quality. BUT unfortunately, voice commands are not consistently disabled, resulting in it either answering or rejecting calls on its own. (When you're talking to someone and the phone rings) The truth is, I wouldn't buy it again.
It has good sound, the rubber bands fall off very easily, I lost both of them in two days and the last one I stuck with glue in the slot that tightens my rubber band, it lasted like that but after forty days it stopped charging the headset and the warranty didn't cover me because I stuck the rubber band
Very mediocre in terms of its price. The jabra 25 is much better.
I am coming back today, May 12, 2022, and it is ultimately a disappointment. It is difficult to hear outdoors and it frequently disconnects. The earbud easily falls off.
It's worth the money, it has a comfortable fit and doesn't tire you out. Your interlocutor hears you clearly, which is not the case with other Bluetooth devices!
Quite good, it connects very quickly to the mobile, the only negative for me is the ear hook which is quite hard and also it does not pronounce the contacts with Greek characters.
It's worth it only if you stick the earphone to the body of the device, because it detaches with the first use, resulting in reduced performance and functionality.
Good microphone noise isolation, good strong sound. Decent battery even with simultaneous connection of two devices.
Perhaps at a price of around €40, it could be considered a top and unique choice for that money, at €60 it flatters the next category
You hear well but completely uncomfortable. So thick that it hurts your ear. The cushions are lost because they come out very easily and if you don't find them down, you search for them inside your ear. There are no spare parts
In one month, the cover of the earphone was lost and it had already come off 5 or 6 times. Overall, it's good, but expensive for €88.
