Absolutely satisfied! Placed in the basement, right below the router (ground floor) and achieves 500Mb/s (uplink & downlink) effortlessly.

The best there is for the money. A floor difference in an apartment building with an elevator in between, I get 90 from a 100 connection. You die for something better.

If you don't have a problem taking it out and plugging it in the socket one or two times a day to reset it, then buy it. Otherwise, choose another repeater to do the job.

UPDATE: After 1 year of inconvenience, TP-LINK finally decided to fix the issue.
With the firmware upgrade to RE450(EU)_V2_210301 released on 22/04/2021, the problem seems to be resolved.

He worked for only two days. Then, for no apparent reason, he started disconnecting until he couldn't connect at all. I can't tell if it's a faulty device, but I will return it. To be objective, I have had the RE305 for years, and I would say it's the best.

It is the second one I buy. It is stable, it doesn't lose signal, it doesn't block, and its range is satisfactory. If you combine it with a modem that also has 5Ghz capability, then it's even better. The set up can be done in various ways, even with its own management application (tether). It functions as a repeater access point. The best thing I have tried.

I ended up with this specific extender, reading comparative tests on foreign sites and they all had it in their top 5. My router is on the 1st floor and I wanted to extend my network wirelessly to the ground floor. The extender immediately found the router. The setup was literally a piece of cake, even through my mobile. Within 5 minutes, I had internet on the ground floor in an 80sqm area, with full coverage, no disconnections, stable speed, great range, and overall it met my needs 100%. I highly recommend it.

It has a strong signal. You can program the hours it will work and you can choose to turn off the LED if it bothers you. The only negative is the relatively large size.

The device was easily connected via ethernet. Then the application was tested from the store. I had an issue with the range on the mi box s. I was only getting 1/5 of the router's speed. With this device, I reached 90%... It is both an extender and an access point. Very user-friendly interface and the settings are easily done. You can even adjust the range to hi low medium. It is dual band 2.4 and 5... Personally, I only use the first one. Satisfied because it does what I bought it for. Note that it was purchased for €29.90 from a well-known store on sale, as seen in the history... I'm not advertising them for free!!

For 55€ bought on offer, it performs very satisfactorily in a house with stone walls of 0.60m. It has been used for a week without any problems. I recommend it.
