Next-Generation AC Wi-Fi
The RE450 from TP-Link comes with next-generation Wi-Fi technology 802.11AC, which is 3 times faster than 802.11n speeds. The RE450 provides fast dual-band Wi-Fi speeds of up to 1.75Gbps, offering reliable connections for tasks such as HD/4K streaming, lag-free gaming, and large file downloads.
One-touch connection
By pressing the WPS button on the router and the RE button on the RE450 within two minutes, they will connect to each other. Once the connection is established, you can move the RE450 to the location you have chosen for the best signal transmission.
Signal Strength Indicator
The smart signal indicator reads the signal strength from the router to help you place the RE450 in the ideal position.

As a first impression, amazing. The router is on the upper floor and the PC is on the lower floor, and I wanted to set up a LAN on the PC because I have various devices that need Ethernet. The result (router < - wifi -> extender < - ethernet -> switch -> pc) gets 300mbit on the speed test, which is the same as the router's line. I am waiting to see how it performs in the future and will update the review.
It is much better than the 200 series and a little better than the 300 series because I want it for many meters, 20 to 25 meters, to extend the Wi-Fi; this one is better than the 200 series, which interrupted me, the 300 series was somewhat better, the 400 series is even better. I will also try the 600 series to see if it is even better. Of course, you also increase the amount of money; the 200 series is around €25, the 300 series is around €35, the 400 series reaches €55 and above, and the 600 series, which is also Wi-Fi 6, starts from €60 and above. It has a consumption of around 3.3 watts, which is why it heats up, but it heats up less than the 200 series, which is completely closed and does not ventilate from anywhere. From the 300 series and above, they have thought about it and made it distinct peripherals, and from the inside, it helps to ventilate and cool down and heat up less. The 200 series, when it overheated in the afternoons, completely interrupted the signal, and because I had it on a security camera, I lost many videos, while the 300 series and above seem to work better and not have major interruptions, but some seconds. I will return when I try the 600 series. I COME BACK FINALLY; THE 450 SERIES IS THE BEST IN EXTENSION RANGE, AND FROM THE 600 SERIES, IT IS TOP. THE TESTS I HAVE DONE ARE WITH THE 450 VERSION 4, BUT I BELIEVE THE OTHER 3 VERSIONS 1, 2, 3 DO NOT HAVE SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES; THEY SHOULD WORK THE SAME. I RECOMMEND UNCONDITIONALLY. I HAVE DONE measurement tests; IT REACHES UP TO 100 METERS FROM A CENTIMETER INTERNET, OUTPUTTING A POWER OF 19 TO 27
I have had it in my room since the summer, I didn't have good internet before, now I have very good internet and it also works for ps4. I have connected it with lan and I don't have any problems anymore. It's my best purchase
Cheap and effective solution for increasing the range of Wi-Fi signal at home. Easy and quick installation, even for beginners, it has not had a single signal interruption so far. Highly recommended!!
In the past, I had a cheaper repeater from the same company (re200) and I wasn't very satisfied, it synchronized at around 35-45 mbps. This one is very fast, it synchronizes comfortably at 95+ of my 100 Mbps line and has a very good range. I am so satisfied that I bought a second one for the house in the village.
Very good product. Only a few times it has happened to me to disconnect. Within a working day, it disconnected once. Of course, it may not be its fault and my router might have frozen. Overall, for the day that I have been using it, it seems satisfactory for its price.
Very good extender, but be careful. I ordered version 4 and received version 3. No one had version 4 when I ordered it (May '21). Ultimately, I decided to keep version 3 because the difference with version 4 (which is the support for Mesh networks) was not necessary for me.
