The Transparent Magenta PETG Filament 1.75 mm 1000 g for 3D printers is of superior quality, produced in the Netherlands. PETG is ideal for beginners and novices, as it is easy to print and provides a pleasant balance between printability and strong prints. The base material is very clear, so the neutral version offers semi-transparent results. The Real brand also offers PETG in transparent colors. As the printing temperature is higher, the print's temperature resistance is greater than that of other materials. If you notice (very) stringing, it is recommended to try a higher temperature. PET-G (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a very strong, water-resistant thermoplastic, with a beautiful glossy finish. PET is a well-known plastic, as it is primarily used in the production of soda bottles. In recent years, this material has become very popular in 3D printing as it combines many excellent properties of both ABS and PLA. Printing with PETG is almost as easy as with PLA and requires a little more effort. Because its self-adhesion is very strong, the first layer should be pressed as much as PLA, as the material can create adhesion around the nozzle ruining your print. Layer adhesion is excellent, making the final result very strong and flexible instead of brittle like PLA. PETG does not stick very well to other materials, as the glue does not have good adhesion to the material. Another great property of PETG is that neutral palettes are almost glass-class clear, giving us the opportunity to offer amazing transparent colors. PET-G can be printed with or without a heated bed with minimal to no warping, using 3DLAC. We recommend using a 65-degree heated bed, as the print will automatically release upon cooling. For the extrusion temperature, 245 is the optimal temperature, as lower temperatures will result in more stringing.
