Garmin Forerunner 55 42mm Waterproof Smartwatch with Heart Rate Monitor (White)
at 2022-08-31This particular Garmin model is extremely simple and easy to operate. I would describe it as Spartan, press, run, press, done. No bells and whistles. If someone wants to get "serious" about running and their budget doesn't suffice for the 255 for example, this is an excellent choice. It's also a positive that it's very lightweight.
What does a runner need from a budget (and not only) watch:
- Distance, time and speed measurement
- Heart rate measurement (it has quite good accuracy, truth be told)
- Creation of interval workoutsDoes it do it all? It does it all just fine. I dare say that its measurements are slightly better than the Fenix 6.
The battery is decent, easily lasting a week with daily workouts.
However, be aware that it does not have a profile for trail running or swimming in the sea.

Saucony Peregrine 12 Sport Shoes Trail Running Orange
at 2022-07-11The shoe is simply excellent.
+Lightweight
+Comfortable
+Fast
+Doesn't hit anywhere
+Foot doesn't slip inside
+Has perfect fit
+Economical for what it offersThe only negative is that it doesn't have the perfect grip on wet rocks. However, I overlook this because it is truly a gem for running distances up to 20km in the mountains.

Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 Sport Shoes Running Yellow
at 2022-04-11The endorphin speed is a shoe that in order to understand all the hype surrounding its name, you must do 2 things.
1. Wear it
2. Try to go for a relaxed run with itYou will be surprised to see that even though you want to go slower, the shoe just won't let you. I consider it a given that anyone who wears it will break their personal records. Also, even though I have changed dozens of shoes with this foam technology, I have never seen anything like it. It feels like walking on balloons. Unbelievable. I can't wait to wear it in a 10+ race.
In my opinion, every runner who respects themselves should run with the endorphin speed, even just for the experience. Saucony really nailed it.

Hoka Clifton 8 Sport Shoes Running Black
at 2021-12-10The flagship of HOKA and definitely the best shoe to get to know the company. It works well for all types of training but excels in long runs where it really shows its teeth.
If you're torn between this and the Bondi 7 (a very common dilemma), don't even think about it, the Clifton is the answer. After trying out two pairs of the Bondi, I can safely say that it's not a running shoe. It's good for posture and walking, but that's about it. Nobody loses with the Clifton.- Comfort

Amazing book that not only talks about running but also includes very beautiful historical elements through a nice narration. The only negative thing I found is that the author repeats things he has already said in another book titled "Ultramarathon Runner". Overall, it is worth reading for anyone, whether they are involved in running or not.

- I would recommend it for purchase

La Sportiva Akasha Sport Shoes Trail Running Black
at 2021-09-27Verified purchaseAlthough I am a "fanatic" of HOKA, for some reason the Speedgoat 4, which is a trail shoe, felt too bulky for me, so I decided to look elsewhere. This particular shoe, although the brand didn't really catch my eye for some unknown reason, is truly a serious trail shoe in every sense of the word.
I have never felt my foot more stable in a shoe and overall it gives you a tremendous sense of security in your steps.
It is definitely not a coincidence that it has been on the market for so many years without changing (I think almost 5).
I recommend it with closed eyes, just be cautious about the size because it's a bit mysterious. If it helps, I wear a 44 2/3 in HOKA (in all models) and here the 45 fit me perfectly.
