When I tested it by applying pressure, it responded better than other similar models, maybe due to its weight. However, it has a limit and won't help you more beyond that. So, for everyday runs or light and long runs, it is definitely recommended. For interval races, if you want something more, you should go for other models that are now abundant in all brands. One negative aspect is definitely the wear on the outsole. I uploaded the photo to show how it has worn out on the left heel of the Clifton after 500 km, compared to the glycerin after 1000 km. Okay, maybe I am comparing the most sensitive with the most durable model, but it is a serious factor. It is worth noting that the Hoka still feels fresh, while the glycerin fades away. It has a low drop, which is rare, and a reasonable price, especially now that everything is expensive. Of course, it lacks durability, but it is definitely worth it for what it offers. We can't have it all.

Something I noticed afterwards is the difference in heart rate. The shoe makes it difficult to maintain a fast pace, and this is evident immediately. To write this, I intentionally tested it on the same terrain with similar paces, and with the Clifton, my heart rate was at least 10 beats higher. I don't know if it's due to the shoe's geometry or the absence of a plate, even a nylon one. The other two models are the On Cloud Eclipse and the Endorphin Speed 3.

Only the part of the outsole that adds considerable weight gives life to the entire shoe. Where everything else has worn out, this still holds up. We are talking about something worthy of admiration. I wear La Sportiva, Dynafit, New Balance, but only this shoe has such durability. So your money will be well spent over time. It is relatively comfortable, so be careful with the size. I went half a size down with this brand. It takes time to break in, but it will accompany you for many kilometers. It's not suitable for fast paces, it's not structured that way. So for walking, work, relaxed running, and long runs, it is an ideal choice. Honestly, I don't know if there is any other shoe that can compete with it in its category.
