It does an excellent job because in a sense it transforms your crop camera into a full frame with very good compatibility - except for Canon - and with third-party lenses such as Sigma or Tamron.
However, for the past two months (October 2023), Canon has stopped selling the entire system of EOS M cameras and lenses, and they have been replaced by the newer mount.
So anyone who finds an EOS M50, EOS M6, etc. to buy will be getting a used or very old stock that has been left in retail stores.
Nevertheless, if you already have a camera body from the EOS M series, this adapter will take it to the next level.

This is an adapter that will make Canon lenses work on the Nikon Z series body as if they were native lenses. Sounds unbelievable, right? And not only that. It also works with Sigma or Tamron lenses that are made for Canon bodies with EF mount. Want something even more incredible? When we say it works, we mean everything! Aperture, autofocus, and even human eye detection autofocus!

Ok guys, obviously there will be lenses that won't work. Maybe some cheap Sigma EOS lenses. With Tamron EOS, I saw more compatibility.

Tip: Upgrade with the latest firmware that you will find on the Viltrox website. I saw that it provides detailed information about Canon lenses in the EXIF data.

Another tip I would suggest is not to do firmware updates for your camera body in the future if you don't have a specific reason that will be solved with the update. Updates, when you don't need them for a specific reason, only bring problems that unfortunately you will discover suddenly when you really need the camera. (I give this tip because Nikon has every right in the future to cut compatibility with Viltrox if, for example, they consider it cuts their profits. And if they do that, the only way to do it is silently through a firmware update).

It works perfectly with autofocus with my Canon EF 50mm 1.8 STM with eye autofocus, but also with the Canon 85mm 1.8 ultrasonic.

I did not expect it to work with all my old prime Nikkor D lenses. Excellent, it saves you a lot of expenses. Stores and companies won't tell you this because it's the last thing they would want to sell. They prefer you to buy a new Z prime lens that starts at a price of over 500 euros each, rather than take advantage of the old ones you have or find used ones and get the adapter. I want to upload photos when I find the time. I am available to answer questions from interested or even just curious people. Excellent purchase, worth it!

Rough construction, it almost dropped my phone.
The second time I used it, I noticed that the base was slightly loose.
The third time I used it, the base was spinning around even though I tightened it with the clamps it has. I got scared and took it off, and it was a good thing because my phone would have fallen and caused damage and disturbance. When I saw it later at home, I noticed that the base has two very "shallow" screws and one was missing from its position, which caused the instability. (It's not a common screw that is available in the market) I was impressed by the poor construction because they sold it to me as approved by iPhone. I contacted the store and the representative and they gave me a new base.

2. θέλει δυνατό -και όχι απλό- μετασχηματιστή τροφοδοτικό- που δεν περιλαμβάνεται.
3. Εχει IR leds για να βλέπει σε απόλυτο σκοτάδι.
4. Οταν ανιχνευσει κίνηση, δεν βγάζει φωτο, αλλα ένα πολυ μικρο alarm βιντεο και το κρατα στον σερβερ. Το βίντεο αυτό μπορείς να το δεις όποια ωρα θες και να το κάνεις download, άσχετα αν ειχες πρόσβαση στο ΜiHome app την ωρα του alarm και ειναι διαφορετικο απο αυτο που γραφει στην καρτα μνήμης. (το alarm βιντεο το γραφει ακομα και αν δεν εχει μεσα κάρτα μνημης.

Η τιμη της στα 20 ευρω και ο wide φακός της την κανουν πολυ ανταγωνιστική και καλή αγορά.
