• Price issue!!
A soap that I bought the day before yesterday (15/3/2023) from a well-known natural store, for 1.65€... For 150ml soap-cream by TFS with 90% Cella Original red fragrance. Easy lather with wet boar brush, without extra water. Moderate protection and slipperiness, but very sweet post shave.
Although it says TFS, it doesn't remind me of any known formula of the Italo-Chinese!
    Partial Rating:
    Texture 6/10
    Latherability 8/10
Intensity of fragrance 4/10 (bitter almond)
    Slipperiness 5/10
    Protection 5/10
    Post shave 7/10
    Value for money 34/10!!

The whole analysis concludes that it is a steal. A bargain price for something 5 times better than the best ready-made foam.
With 150ml shaving for 3 years!
If, and when you ever take it to the cashier, you will remember that here we are talking about.... A price issue!!

  • It lasted 6.5 years and it would have lasted even longer if I hadn't done something stupid. Of course, I will buy the same one again.

  • After some years of using Traditional Shaving, today I decided to try this foam again. Keep in mind that I had previously used the yellow and red ones made in the USA. However, back then I had the Traditional Shaving as a second option and I was satisfied with the result. So, influenced by the Traditional Shaving, after my shower (soft skin and beard, anyway), I gave myself a good massage with plenty of foam and then applied a second layer. The rest of the tools, the razor and blade, were the same. I was shocked... The same blade, I mean, it didn't cut at all... Nothing, absolutely nothing. The blade pulled everything, causing pain. For my mustache, I had to remove it and use Proraso instead. A simple cream did a much better job. If I were to shave with a simple glycerin soap, for example, it would be 100 times better. (In case of emergency, try it and you will remember me). Fortunately, I didn't have any irritation. It's a shame though, because I remember the American ones as very good foams.
