Philips Steam Iron 2800W with Non-stick Plate and Continuous Steam Supply 50g/min Light/Dark Blue
at 2024-06-22Attention to potential buyers. It is not just the color that makes the difference between the models, even if they are from the same series. For example, the DST7020/20 & DST7022/40 do NOT have the auto off function that the rest from DST7030 and above have. I got the DTS7041, which has this additional feature, at a lower final price than the DTS7022 which does not have it. As a negative for the device, I would point out that the length of the cable (in all models) is 2m and I do not understand why they skimped on that one extra meter in the 7000 series which should have had 3m.

Habotest Clamp Meter Digital 1000A AC True RMS HT208D
at 2024-04-12For its features, quality, and price (I paid €45), it is simply excellent (it also comes with a carrying case and batteries).
There is no design flaw regarding its screen, which is a colorful OLED display. However, what I understand (given that when you turn it on, the priority is DC) is that this particular device mainly targets the field of building installations and automotive space, where the volume of work and usage takes place indoors rather than outdoors. In well-lit indoor spaces, even in complete darkness, this specific screen is clear and transparent. You can easily have the device four meters away from you and still see the screen indicators clearly. However, in outdoor environments and under intense sunlight, this screen suffers, and the indicators can barely be distinguished when holding the device in your hand. So, if someone needs such a device mainly for outdoor work, then this is not what I would recommend.
Its measurements are accurate, but due to the large scale (1000V, 1000A) in very low voltage and current, it will show zero readings up to a certain point. For example, it starts giving a measurement value from 100mA and above, so it is not reliable for someone who relies on this device for measurements of such scale. But then again, who buys such a device for such measurements? -
Ferro One Mixing Bathtub Shower Faucet Silver
at 2022-01-27Verified purchaseI think that Ferro makes some great products. Bravo to the Polish! I like that the company follows the philosophy of being able to repair the products it provides to consumers and emphasizes DIY. If you visit their YouTube channel, you will see that they also have tutorials for various batteries, etc.
Apart from that, the booklet that comes with the battery also includes maintenance instructions. Rarely or never do you come across battery manufacturers that tell you to disassemble it to clean mechanisms and components (or replace them when needed).
Their products fall into the value for money category and in my opinion (based on what I have encountered and compared), they are very fair. They cut costs in certain areas (such as the quantity of metal) but only as much as necessary, and it shows that they pay attention to details, such as the finish (casting, machining), which is impeccable. Another example that can be seen in the photos I have attached is that I removed the filter and found that the gasket is made of silicone and not the common black rubber that you find in most batteries on the market, which after a while you remove and it leaves that black residue on your hand. It undergoes quality control and a seal with the production date is included in the documentation.
I was looking for a battery that does not have the common (and annoying) mechanism with the pull button to switch to the shower and does not exceed a certain price. I chose this one and I have not regretted it at all. It's very easy and simple, you rotate the ring clockwise (half a turn is all it takes) from below and it stays in the shower for as long as you want, regardless of the water flow. You turn it counterclockwise and it flows again from the faucet.
Points to note for potential buyers. The rosettes are "thick" with a thickness of 20mm and a diameter of about 60mm, so make your arrangements if you are going to use them (in my case, I installed them because they come with the tile and the battery's nut, so there are no gaps in the threading). Some people may not like the fact that the shower outlet protrudes so much from below (due to the switching mechanism).
The company states in the documentation that the 5-year warranty is provided for both the mechanism and the body of the battery, but whether one will be successful with Greek merchants is another story, although I don't think anyone will need it (I have had it for 2 months and it has not presented any issues). It is also not clear whether it is manufactured in Poland or elsewhere. The packaging only states (in English) the manufacturer: Ferro, blah blah, Poland.
After I purchased it, took photos, and installed it, I later discovered that someone had also done a "unboxing" in the video below: [YouTube link]
EDIT: I wrote my review for the battery when its price was at €50 (the same price I bought it for), I don't know what is happening in the Greek market now, but it is not sold anywhere else in Europe at this price. The price ranges from €40 to €50+ everywhere else.

Ankor Plastic Soft Close Toilet Seat White 43cm
at 2022-01-245 stars for the price/features ratio.
For installation, the bases are the ones with the inflatable plug, commonly the installation (or removal) is done exclusively from the top without the need to bend down and search behind the toilet bowl. You just need to "align" the lid with the bases on the toilet bowl and screw it in with a screwdriver, and it stays in place. Note that the screws don't need to be tightened too much because the plastic plug inside the toilet bowl holes can break, and then it won't be able to stand (you will either need to find another plastic plug or use different screws that will fit in the traditional way with threads from the bottom).
Also, something that is not mentioned in the description is the mechanism for directly removing the lid from the bases, which remain on the toilet bowl (to clean it separately, etc.). You press the button that appears below in the center in the second photo and it releases, and then you simply attach it back to the bases.
The screws and the metal lids of the bases are stainless steel, but I won't vouch for it (in any case, they are not magnetic). What I didn't like so much is that the metal covers of the bases are not attached, they are simply placed on top. That means if you move them, for example, with your finger, they play around, maybe it's more convenient that way to remove them every time you clean (as long as you don't lose them).
As for the disadvantages, I will mention the fact that the protective film of the metal lids (in my case at least) had become one with them (as if it was paint), especially at the edges, and it took me a long time to completely remove the residue without scratching the surface of the lids.
Second disadvantage, it has some minor flaws (Chinese-made), for example, the elastic pads of the lid that come into contact with the rim of the toilet bowl when you lower it do not fit perfectly inside their seats, and the plastic of the upper surface right above these seats has small dents. If it didn't have these small details, it would be the perfect lid in terms of price.EDIT 19-12-2022: Almost a year later, no problems with the lid, but it is worth noting that I gave it a 5-star rating based on the price at the time, which was a total of €19.50 (including shipping costs).

Grohe Plastic Shower Hose Silver Relexaflex 2000 200cm (1/2")
at 2022-01-11For prospective buyers, I have to mention the following:
If your bathroom faucet is low or your shower base is high, but the "common" spiral with a length of 1.5 meters covered you perfectly and now you are thinking of buying this one from Grohe... well, do yourself a favor (and your wallet) and get the one with a length of 2 meters.
Because this one is more rigid compared to the common spirals, it does not bend as much as they do (so the length is "cut" that way). Unfortunately, you cannot realize this, neither when you take it out of its packaging, nor when you hold it in your hands and stretch or examine it in general. The disappointment comes when you install it. Personally, I couldn't accept this borderline situation and ended up buying the 2-meter one again. In terms of quality, it is top-notch with metallic connectors, etc.
Since I had to learn the hard way, I am writing this review to save you from it if you are skeptical about the length. Lucky you! -
Gloria Modena Mixing Bathtub Shower Faucet Silver
at 2022-01-09Verified purchaseBy far the most useless battery I have come across so far. I rank it lower than a purely Chinese no-name battery that costs 15 euros, which, even then, only had the issue of the mechanism being fixed and stuck to the body of the battery. So when it started leaking after 6 years, there was no way to repair it.
This one was the replacement for the Chinese no-name battery in my father's bathroom, and the responsibility lies with my father for this one and the previous one. I am the one who has to find solutions for the choices of merchants and professionals in this ordeal.
It started leaking from the mechanism on the 3rd day after installation. The plumber who sold it to my father told him that it just needed tightening of the mechanism's retaining nut. And here I come. I tighten the nut, nothing, the leak remains. I unscrew it completely and remove the mechanism. No problem with the mechanism (which is the only branded part on it). I look inside and realize that the water inlet holes (hot and cold) are not properly aligned from the manufacturing process. As a result, when you install the mechanism straight, it doesn't seal properly. I had to slightly tilt it and hold it parallel to the tightening of the nut, otherwise it would leak again.
After solving the leakage issue, after 6 months, I was called to solve another problem. The filter in the spout had caught some pebbles and the water wasn't flowing properly. I try to unscrew the filter and it simply DOES NOT unscrew without risking damage to the entire bathroom installation. I had to attempt to do that by completely removing the battery, stabilizing it with a wrench, etc. Of course, I didn't even bother with that. Third issue, I was called to change the telephone coil, I try to unscrew the end of the old coil and as I unscrew it, I realize that the bottom part of the mixer's mast remains in my hand. The mast of the battery unscrewed, not the spout's connection from the mast! And then I struggled to assemble the mixer and screw the mast onto the battery as it should have been screwed. Well, after two years, the battery was leaking again from the part of the mechanism, so I threw it away (which I was eagerly waiting to do).
All of these scream one thing, nonexistent quality control. The only thing that has a 6-year warranty is the mechanism, which is from SEDAL and costs 4 euros. To cut it short, the battery is purely Chinese and of the bad kind, the warranty is given for a component of another branded company which, anyway, has a ridiculous cost. I am attaching photos of the packaging (which my father kept) so you can see that it is still wrong as it shows the battery without the ridges that the telephone switch button normally has. And of course, the origin P.R.C at the bottom of the box with a sticker. And let the naive one know what P.R.C means (which stands for the initials of the People's Republic of China in English).

Almost at half the price, for example, from the corresponding (6-inch) of Force and if you put them side by side, it is exactly the same tool. Not to mention the more "famous" brands whose prices are sky-high.
For the applications I need it and generally for the use I will make, it is just fine. I have already used it in a relatively difficult situation (at least that's how it seemed) and in a situation for which it is not normally intended (removal of a "blind bearing" in reverse). It is not meant to push but to pull, and I did my job easily, quickly, and "bloodlessly".
It is sturdy and in terms of material quality, it is impeccable. No comparison, for example, with the company's French wrenches (total, they are Chinese so you don't have to search) which I doubt if they have a trace of vanadium despite what is written on them. I ordered the size 12 (since it has about 42 mm opening) just for testing and it came curved, but I straightened it with a heavy tool. When you hold it in your hands, it gives you the feeling that it is made of some aluminum alloy, that says it all.
To sum up, yes to the company's extractors but stay away from their French wrenches (unless they are intended for household and simple use, where the light weight and capabilities compared to the competition, 42mm ones, will be useful).
