This is a seat, not a bench. The previous reviewer has been confused, if they wanted something taller then they need a bench. The seat aims to leave the shoulder blades free, as they participate in shoulder exercises and need to move freely. In my opinion, the vertical section could be a little shorter. Good and sturdy construction, it comes assembled.

Fantastic machine. Professional-level dual pulleys with high-quality materials and smooth operation. I assembled it myself, but it took almost a whole day. The instructions are very detailed though. It is quite compact in size and sturdy in construction. I highly recommend it.
