I have written and reviewed about the dt 250.
Now I have purchased the dt 800 and I must admit it is a more complete radio. Everything that applies to the dt 250 also applies here and more. Instead of mentioning all the good things that the Sangean radio has, I will simply mention the differences. The sound from its speaker is relaxing and has better bass. The headphones have undergone a significant improvement, as they have a completely different, more high-quality sound, fuller and even more stereo, which you can enjoy listening to all day long.
Its rubber casing makes it more stable to hold and safer in case of minor falls.
As for the stations, someone who is used to the dt 250 may struggle a bit, but it's a matter of getting used to it. There is no up/down button for the saved stations, but rather 5 buttons on 4 different pages (page button) that you press separately to select the station. Therefore, you don't change the saved stations with a single movement on two buttons, but with more. It is less ergonomic, but more organized because you divide the stations into pages. Finding stations outside the memory is done with a button on the side, which is a bit sensitive as it can be pressed accidentally due to the up/down movement it makes. It's a matter of getting used to it and requires delicate handling.
As for its menu, an alarm clock and signal quality indicator have been added, as well as rechargeable batteries that you can charge directly from the device. Also, the paint on the dt-800 is of excellent quality. The quality of the paint is very important in a device that is used frequently. It doesn't fade with use, unlike the dt 250, which unfortunately shows signs of surface wear over time.
In general, this is also an excellent product with unmatched sound. I believe there is nothing superior on the market, and I say this with certainty because I have purchased radios from all brands. And of course, there is no comparison whatsoever with mobile radios, which are significantly inferior. This relaxing, truly stereo sound that reaches your ears is an experience, not just listening to a radio. Its sound will captivate you and offer you relaxed and high-quality audio and music that you will listen to as if you were in a recording studio.
Choose it and forget everything you know about ordinary radios until today.

One of the top watches for mountain, sea, and everyday use! It is the seventh Casio watch I have, and for over 20 years now, no watch has had the slightest problem. I have never dealt with water resistance, as well as impacts. A company where material inaccuracy is an almost unknown word and a company where you can buy a watch for 12 euros and one for 2000 and it will last you a lifetime! Just like the PRG270, it is the toughest of all the ones I have had so far.

Made of excellent quality plastic, unique feeling when pressing the buttons, scratch-resistant high-strength crystal, and a strap of the same quality!! The illumination is sufficient in complete darkness with a readable screen!

I have the model with the black dial and orange outline. Many wrote that it is difficult to read because it has a negative screen. However, I dared to buy it because for so many years I had all my Casio watches with the classic screen. The screen is fine, it's a matter of getting used to it, of course, which you get used to in a short period of time.

As for its functions, its barometer is quite accurate, I compare it quite often with weather reports and its accuracy is unbelievable. It also shows excellent accuracy in weather forecasting, with the fluctuations of barometric pressure, and it is almost infallible. I find it to be extremely accurate in its altimeter as well. Even in the elevator of my house, the altitude changes per meter, of course, due to the new third-generation sensor that this model has and later ones. Great accuracy also for its compass, which I compare in many areas always with a handheld compass that I have accuracy with, not with a mobile phone! The thermometer records the temperature of the hand, of course, and it is always slightly increased. You need to leave it in the environment for a few minutes away from your hand so that it is not affected by body temperature and to have an accurate result. I did a calibration for all these functions and that's it.

As for the other functions it has, they are very useful! It has sunrise and sunset times in a calendar that you change and select the day you want, after you have entered the correct coordinates of the area you live in, longitude, and latitude. It has world time in 48 cities around the world, a stopwatch, countdown timer, and 4 alarms. You can also record a series of altitude differences in a climb you will do and see them later in the recording archive.

Its charging is solar, you forget about batteries. But be careful, don't forget it on a sunbed for a few hours and get burned, both you and the Casio!

A complete watch of durability and reliability. A watch that you won't be afraid to dive into the sea with, so it won't break or fog up, a watch that will withstand many impacts and hard use while offering excellent finishing and unique aesthetics!

I bought it in July 2000 from Chiasso in Switzerland. 20 years later, I can say with absolute certainty that this company is the best in the world!! I have never put a drop of oil on its tools, I have never done any maintenance for rust or sharpening. I have traveled all over Greece and Europe, I have it with me every day, I use it almost daily. This is the greatest proof of quality and excellent performance to buy a Victorinox! Its knives still cut perfectly even now, and all its tools open and close as if I bought it yesterday. And of course, there is not even a trace of rust!!! The living advertisement and proof is the simple owner of a Victorinox and not the well-made websites of other companies, usually American ones, whose metals are rotten and useless and they try to convince the customer to buy them. Look at the references around the world before buying something, not the websites of the companies.

You see on the American site they present multitools full of mud... mountains, lakes, jeeps, and sparks from welding, and you think you found the perfect multitool, the toughest, the perfect quality. And I fell for it... I did some market research, but not as much as I should have, probably, in order to buy something good. I bought this particular model from the (!) Gerber representative in Greece. As soon as I held it in my hands, I have to admit that I was impressed by its sturdy feel and the very good opening and closing of the tools. However, the essence lies in the quality, the real quality of both this specific model and Gerber in general.

First of all, in just a few days, I saw brown stains everywhere. I didn't want to believe it was rust. I started searching online for similar reports and unfortunately, I saw thousands. I had no other choice, I got disappointed and every now and then I applied WD-40 and tried to maintain it. In my possession for 2 years, I did the same maintenance every 3-4 months. Having a Spartan Victorinox from 2000, costing about 22 euros, twenty years later I have never put a drop of oil on it nor have I ever sharpened it, and you can understand how I felt seeing a 2017 product for 55 euros rusting for no reason every month!!!!!! Made in China, of course, like many other Gerber tools. Full of material defects.

Secondly, after about a month, one day as I was cleaning it thoroughly, I noticed a crack, about the size of a hair and about 3 millimeters long, on the pliers. I couldn't believe it!!! As I squeezed the pliers, the crack became more and more noticeable. I immediately returned it and they told me it was a manufacturing defect, although at first they had a hard time believing and accepting it, in other words, a material defect. They pressed the pliers in front of me and it broke into pieces!!! Then they didn't know what to say. They gave me a used (!) one, which they provocatively said was useless, it was a sample in the company's exhibition. According to Gerber's warranty, they were obliged to replace it with a brand new one. After some time, while cleaning it, I saw a hole in the joint of the metals in the pliers, in a spot that is not easily visible, and unfortunately, on both sides!!! In other words, two small holes! Holes that over time would collect rust inside and at some point, it would rot internally. I took photos and sent them to Gerber, complaining and asking them to replace it with a BRAND NEW one, and if possible, with a different model because I got tired of the material defects in the Chinese Suspension. Gerber replied to me in excellent condition, without a scratch and of course without the slightest suspicion of misuse, which was evident from the photos. Even if I had misused it, holes in the joint of the metals cannot be caused by use but by the Chinese manufacturing factory and the low-quality materials they use. They replied that this problem does not affect the functionality of the multitool (if possible) and there will be no replacement or repair. The Greek representative showed maximum indifference after many emails!!!
In the end, I accepted that this company, along with Leatherman, which are based in the same place, the same city, have exactly the same poor quality of steel and they sell it like gold!! Two identical companies, exactly the same, just with different designs on their tools. A search on the internet will convince you whether I am telling the truth or not! Thousands of reports of breakages and rust all over the world!! Just look at how many videos their pliers break when cutting something hard and how they rust!! I was not disappointed only by the quality but also by the company in Greece and America. FAR AWAY!!!
Give something more and buy quality. I bought VICTORINOX spirit and I am shocked by its quality. Stay away from Americans and pretenses, prefer quality, ergonomics, durability, longevity.

Αν υπηρχαν 100 αστερια, θα εβαζα και τα 100 !!! Μετα απο 20 χρονια εμπειριας απο εναν απλο spartan τον οποιο αγορασα απο Ελβετια και ακομα και σημερα ειναι σαν να τον αγορασα ΕΧΘΕΣ, πηρα στα χερια μου επιτελους τον Spirit!!! Ειχα παρει πριν τρια χρονια εναν gerber suspension τον οποιο ηθελα για σκληρη χρηση και ειχα διαβασει καλες κριτικες αλλα και κακες ταυτοχρονα. Αν τον αφησεις πανω στο τραπεζι θα δεις ιχνη σκουριας που εμφανιζονται για πλακα...καθε 3-4 εβδομαδες οξειδωνεται οπως (εντελως τυχαια) και ολοι οι leatherman. Ειναι απλα ιδιες εταιρειες με ιδια χαλια ποιοτητα ατσαλιου χωρις ιχνος ποιοτητας και πανακριβοι.Με πολλες αστοχιες υλικων!!Ο victorinox ειναι ο ορισμος της ποιοτητας.Εχει αριστο φινιρισμα, αριστη κατασκευη και απο την πρωτη στιγμη που τον κρατας στα χερια σου αντιλαμβανεσαι τη διαφορα απο τους αλλους που τον κανει να ξεχωριζει μακραν. Σαν μηχανικος δινω τρομερη εμφαση στη λεπτομερεια αλλα και στην ποιοτητα. Δεν εχει το παραμικρο ψεγαδι σε ολα του τα εργαλεια. Ολα ανοιγουν και κλεινουν με τα χαρακτηριστικα ''κλακ'' της victorinox που εχουν ολα της τα εργαλεια στους σουγιαδες. Το ενα εργαλειο με το αλλο δεν επηρεαζει το ανοιγμα του, δηλαδη, οταν ανοιγεις ενα εργαλειο δεν ανοιγει το διπλανο του.Ολα ασφαλιζουν για μεγιστη ασφαλεια και αποτελεσματικοτητα.Το ατσαλι του ειναι αριστης ποιοτητας για εξαιρετικη αντοχη στην οξειδωση με περιεκτικοτητα νικελιου που το οχειρωνει απο την οξειδωση.Ειναι τοσο ολκιμο υλικο ατσαλιου οσο χρειαζεται για μην υποκειται σε θραυση κατα την εντονη καταπονηση αλλα και τοσο ψαθυρο διατηρωντας σε ισορροπια την αντοχη του και την σκληροτητα του. Τα κατσαβιδια στον spirit ειναι εξαιρετικα, μεγαλη μυτη, μεσαια και μικρη καλυπτοντας ολες τις αναγκες.Στραβοκατσαβιδο που ειναι αριστο και αρκετα παχυ στο πλατος του και τοποθετημενο στο πιο νευραλγικο σημειο του πολυεργαλειου, στο κεντρο του οπως και το μεγαλο ισιο κατσαβιδι.Η πριονωτη λαμα του ξυριζει, δεν κοβει απλα, ξεφλουδιζεις ενα απλο κλαδακι σε πλατος κλωστης με απιστευτη ακριβεια!!! Το σιδεροπριονο κοβει και λειαινει μεταλα σαν βουτυρο...απιστευτη αισθηση ακριβειας και αντοχης.Η κατεργασια στη λαμα της λιμας ειναι μοναδικη! Το ψαλιδι του κοβει με μοναδικη ανεση τα παντα!!! Το πριονι ξυλου απιστευτα κοφτερο με εξαιρετικο εργαστασιακο τροχισμα υποδειγματικης οδοντωσης!! Το εργαλειο για κατεργασια ξυλου σαν μικρη ρασπα ή σκαρπελο ειναι καταπληκτικο για μικρολεπτομερειες ενος υλικου που θες να κατεργαστεις.Μολις ανοιγεις την πενσα αντιλαμβανεσαι γιατι αξιζει μεχρι και το τελευταιο cent!! Μοναδικη αισθηση στιβαρης πενσας για σκληρη χρηση.Φινιρισμα που αποτελει υποδειγμα για τις αλλες εταιρειες, κλεινεις τη μυτη και εφαπτονται ακριβως η μια με την αλλη! Στο κοπτικο του εργαλειο οπως θα δειτε και σε πολλα βιντεο, κοβει μεχρι και ατσαλοπροκες σαν οδοντογλυφιδες με απιστευτη ανεση. Απλα, η εταιρεια αυτη ειναι απο το 1884 και εξακολουθει να φτιαχνει χειροποιητα ενα ενα τα εργαλεια της στο εργοστασιο της στο Ibach και δεν εχει κανει εκπτωσεις στη ποιοτητα πηγαινοντας στη Κινα να φτιαχνει πολυεργαλεια με ανακυκλωμενα κονσερβοκουτια τελευταιας ποιοτητας οπως κανουν οι αλλοι! Εχει κρατησει την ποιοτητα της στην κορυφη και χιλια μπραβο της για την ποιοτηταρα της!!! Σας το προτεινω ανεπυφιλακτα..αξιζει να δωσεις κατι παραπανω και να παρεις ενα κορυφαιο εργαλειο!!!!
