I have bought two. I will only write positive things because I really didn't find anything negative.

1) AMAZING range! Specifically:

- Maximum range we achieved (measured in a straight line with Google Earth), with some trees and hills between us: 7,150m! Yes, 7.1 kilometers! With a strong and clear reception.

- Minimum range we achieved: 740 meters (always in a straight line), but one of us was inside a village-puddle and the other was outside the village and behind 2 hills. Okay, somewhere reasonable.

2) Battery life:
I don't know, we use it all day and it hasn't run out yet. At night, I charge them.

3) Ease of use:
Very easy. They have 16 preset channels, you just put them on the same channel and talk. They come with a belt clip and a strap. Also, they have a flashlight (very useful to leave it on so you don't have to search for them in the dark if you leave them somewhere outside).

4) Ease of customization:
The frequencies are easily programmed (changed) with a special cable. I haven't tried it.

5) Compatibility:
A friend who has a professional wireless car (has a license) managed to talk to us. I just found the frequencies of the 16 channels on the internet, gave them to him, and he adjusted his own. At first, I could hear him but he couldn't hear me, eventually he had to "adjust the sub-tone" (don't ask, I don't know, it was a number on the internet, next to the frequency).

Overall rating:
For 10-11€ each, don't even think about it, get them and have fun!
