Dual-Motor Electric Scooter with 70km/h Max Speed and 60km Autonomy in Black Color
at 2024-08-02Verified purchaseI received it last week and at first I was disappointed because there are some discrepancies with the description. 1) The box and the brochure state a maximum allowable weight of 120kg, not 150kg (the construction seems to withstand 150kg though), 2) The weight of the scooter is 38kg, not 28kg, the dual motor is 34kg and the single motor (the latter is not the product that appears above, it is just mentioned in the brochure). 3) The 11-inch tires are not solid but tubeless inflatable tires, meaning they have air without an inner tube, like in cars (thankfully because at high speed it's better).
If we exclude the carrying, most of the weight it has is necessary because the speed it develops is high; when you take it, it's set with a limiter at 25 km/h. After communicating via email with China, they told me that by pressing the start button together with the horn button, when the scooter is in operation, the limiter is deactivated/activated. Up to 55 km/h that I went, the scooter was excellent (it has very good suspension, braking, and brakes despite my 100 kg), but the feeling is that the kilometers are a lot. On motorcycles, during sudden braking, you push the handlebars with your hands; on the scooter, you shift your weight to the back foot (up to sitting on the back foot), I doubt that this can be done quickly with a lot of kilometers.
In general, it tears up the asphalt with its 2 motors.
It has 4 speeds and 2 modes, comfort and sport. In comfort, it reaches 52 km/h (the sport mode that I tried with the limiter is more responsive, so now that I removed the limiter, I haven't tested it to confirm the 70 km/h but it probably reaches it. Of course, the more responsive and with higher top speeds the settings are, the autonomy goes for a walk :)
Happy rides! -
Gub V3 Black Helmet E-scooter
at 2024-07-22Verified purchaseLightweight, well-ventilated, good fit on the head with the size adjuster, but the best part is that the magnetic visor self-adjusts as soon as you bring it close to eyebrow level! It also adjusts upwards (inverted) as a resting position!
