Coming from the 12 Pro, I believe the transition was worth it, a new experience with the dynamic display, quite fast (I didn't have any issues with this on the 12 Pro either), noticeably better photos! Especially in low-light conditions, the battery starts at 80% in the morning and ends with 30% in the evening with quite a bit of usage. (additional feature to not charge above 80% if desired), while with satisfactory usage, it still has 64% in the evening from 100%! I don't know what others say about the battery, some application is draining it, not your phone.
Display: Magic at 120Hz, I didn't believe I would see a difference and yet I did.
Finally, with Type C, it was rumored that it doesn't work with any Type C, that's nonsense, it works perfectly with any Type C, and there are analyses that there is no issue with that. Just like with all cables (and chargers), make sure they are not from your neighbor's Chinese shop and you won't have any issues. Personally, I bought an Anker Powerline cable (100W) at a good price along with an Anker 20W charger, no need to spend extra for the mediocre Apple cable. As for the temperature, nothing cool to cold, I would say... ONLY quality.
