When you hold the Izzy Vita+ MY-624 in your hands, you can tell from its weight that it has a powerful motor (600Watt). It has two operating speeds, one for soft materials and one for harder ones.
Its appearance in black plastic and stainless steel is elegant, with its size appearing convenient for everyday use and storage.
The attachments easily attach and detach from the body, and the device does not operate unless everything is securely fastened. The feeding chute has a diameter of 65mm, which, although not the largest, is satisfactory and quite common in juicers of the same type.
The pulp container is large with a capacity of 1.2lt, while the juice container holds up to 450ml of freshly squeezed juice and has a foam separator.
The cable is quite long, measuring 1.2m, which definitely helps with more comfortable use and placement in various areas of the countertop and kitchen.
After using it with several kilograms of fruits and vegetables and producing many liters of juice, the Izzy Vita+ MY-624 juicer had no difficulty with any material.
The pulp was quite dry within expected limits, and the juice it produced was very satisfactory. There was foam, as expected, which the foam separator in the juice container helps with. Alternatively, I used a spoon to remove the foam when there was more than necessary.
I cut the fruits and vegetables to the size required by the 65mm feeding chute when necessary.
Removing the pulp container is not as convenient as I would like, as all the attachments need to be removed. Of course, to reach the point where you need to empty it, you would have already removed all the attachments to clean them.
The rotating Anti-Drip spout helps a lot in avoiding juice dripping and changing the collection container in case of producing a significant amount of juice.
As it is only 30cm tall, it is convenient for use even under countertops. However, an additional 20-30cm should be considered for feeding elongated materials and using the pusher.
The attachments, except for the stainless steel filter, can be washed in the dishwasher, although the manufacturer recommends hand washing.
Overall, the Izzy Vita+ MY-624 juicer is a reliable juice production device. Its price and quality meet the expectations I had from this particular brand and left me satisfied.
With a cost of about 45 euros, and always in comparison to the competition, it is a worthy juicer that easily finds a place on the kitchen countertop and will help you drink more juice. And as mentioned at the beginning of the review, it is also available in red, in case you prefer something more colorful.
What would I like? A slightly easier removal of the pulp container, although this is not a deterrent factor for purchasing this juicer.
Opening the box, we naturally find the device, in glossy black color with the basket and the tray. On the top, there is a large LCD screen for cooking settings and the 7 preset programs.
The Teesa TSA8046 air fryer has a power of 1400W, a large 3.2lt capacity basket, and temperature adjustment options from 80 to 200 degrees Celsius. The cooking time selection reaches 60 minutes.
The basket and the tray are made of stainless steel and coated with a non-stick material, for better user experience and easy cleaning. Its handle does not heat up for greater safety, and it has feet at the bottom to prevent it from moving during use.
Its size is expectedly medium and probably will not be difficult to place on the kitchen counter and will not create space issues if someone wants to have it permanently and readily available. Which, between us, why not have a device that cooks without oil, available at any time?
The package includes the manual with usage instructions and cooking suggestions for different foods at different times and temperatures.
So, how was the user experience and cooking abilities? During the tests, I used it to make many different dishes, as the future owner would.
I used the preset programs, the instructions from the booklet, and several other combinations in an effort to see its performance and compare it to cooking in a pan and oven. Overall, I was very satisfied with its performance and abilities.
In summary:
- Chicken breast and thigh: In both cases, the chicken was cooked properly inside and out, remaining juicy without drying out.
- Steaks: I grilled pork neck and loin, as well as beef fillet. Just like with the chicken, the meat cooked quickly and properly.
- Grilled vegetables: I mainly tried broccoli, carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, and eggplants, with satisfactory results.
- Burgers: Perhaps the highlight of the tests, the burgers cooked in a very short time, remaining soft on the inside and adequately browned on the outside.
- Potatoes: Obviously, the result is not similar to fried potatoes in a pan with oil, but using minimal oil is an excellent healthy alternative for baking potatoes, with crispy results, whether in their classic shape or in cubes and slices.
- Additionally, grilled salmon turned out exceptionally well, sausages almost like on charcoal, and frozen chicken nuggets required minimal time compared to the oven.
As for cleaning, the basket and tray are easily cleaned in the sink with a sponge or in the dishwasher. Any fats and food residues, at least in my tests, were minimal and did not stick to the interior.
After intensive testing and many different meals, the Teesa TSA8046 air fryer lived up to my expectations regarding its results and cooking abilities. The speed and convenience it offers, as well as the savings in ingredients such as oil and the use of the oven, make it one of the most useful devices that every kitchen should have.
Obviously, achieving the desired result requires several tests according to each user's preferences and tastes. The preset programs work quite well and the size of the basket is ideal for singles, couples, and small families. Maybe not for a full meal for a family of four, but the relatively low price and the speed may compensate for the small but not very large cooking basket in any case.
Judging from the competition, with a purchase price somewhere around 75-85€, this specific fryer is not only a great helper in the kitchen but also a value for money. I should mention that along with the TSA8046, I also tried the more economical model Teesa TSA8047 with the same features and capabilities, but without the LCD screen and with a purchase price of 65-70€.
The base with the motor of the AEG SB2900 is sturdy, in black and stainless steel color, with a power of 400W, theoretically sufficient for the intended use. In front, there is a switch for adjusting the 2 speeds and the pulse function.
Along with the base, there are, of course, the 3 bottles, 1 large with a capacity of 600ml and 2 smaller ones with a capacity of 300ml. Their lids, in different colors, have a large hole for the mixture to pass through easily. For the large bottle, there is also a plastic rod that can be filled with water and frozen, so that its contents remain cold and refreshing for a longer time.
The packaging, unlike other sports blenders, includes some useful additional accessories. A large container with blades, for cutting other ingredients for use as a food processor, and a grinding attachment for coffee beans and spices.
For use with the bottles, the two cutting and blending attachments are used.
The cable is 1m long and the base has non-slip feet for added stability.
As the name suggests, Sports Blender, the main use of the AEG SB2900 is the preparation of juices and smoothies, with the purpose of storing and transporting them in the bottles.
The bottles are made of BPA-Free Tritan plastic to avoid absorption of odors and flavors, and they are resistant to falls. Their lids allow for easy flow of contents and close properly without the possibility of leakage.
During the tests of the main use of the AEG SB2900, the motor did not struggle with any ingredient and the blending and mixing with the sharp stainless steel blades was done correctly and effectively. Of course, all this requires the correct placement of the ingredients inside the container, so that the blade can "catch" them.
Among the many smoothies and juices, I particularly enjoyed the taste of the two in the photos below, the green one with spinach, kiwi, and green apple, and the red one with strawberries, banana, and orange juice.
In addition to the above, I also prepared other beverages with fruits, vegetables, yogurt, milk, and some nuts, with the same (tasty) results.
The container of the food processor attachment has quantity indications in ml, with maximum amounts for the ingredients. The 400W were sufficient for efficient cutting of onions, tomatoes, various vegetables, and meat.
The attachment for grinding coffee beans and spices worked as it should, leaving the coffee in the ideal size and texture. The ground coffee was used in the Dosette D2302 espresso machine from the previous review, with satisfactory results.
The bottles, lids, and container can be washed in the dishwasher, while the attachments with blades only require washing under the tap with dish soap.
For those who desire larger quantities, the AEG SB2900 may disappoint, as the 600ml container is not enough for preparing portions for more than 1-2 people in one container. Of course, the device is not intended for such use, and there are other blenders with larger containers for exclusive home use, such as blenders, which serve this purpose.
Without being exclusively aimed at fitness and healthy eating enthusiasts, the device can easily find additional uses, thanks to its accessories and capabilities, although it cannot fully replace a regular blender or a food processor.
Based on its features, components, brand name, and of course its price at around €60, the AEG SB2900 Sports Blender is recommended without reservation for those who want to make juices and smoothies and take them on the go, but not only that, everything in a quality and reliable device.
What is it missing? The ability to crush ice and 2 large bottles instead of 2 small ones.
The body construction is of high quality, with good materials and careful design. With a body weight of approximately 5 kg, it is comfortable to transport and store, while its size serves the normal-sized EPA bag with a capacity of 3.5 liters.
There are two hidden filters inside, one EPA 11 type on the top and an additional one behind the bag compartment. Inside, there are also three accessories in special storage compartments, so that space is saved and, most importantly, we do not lose them.
In terms of technical specifications, it has an A rating in all categories, meaning energy efficiency, cleaning performance on hard floors, cleaning performance on carpets, and dust re-emission. Its power is 450W, more than enough for household use, while the annual consumption is impressively low at 16 kWh/year.
The Hoover Telios TX60PET comes with 4 different nozzles for different uses and needs:
Carpet & Floor Supreme nozzle for all types of floors
Mini Turbo Pet nozzle for pet hair
Parquet Extra nozzle with soft bristles for sensitive hard floors, such as wooden and laminate floors
Carpet Optimax Noozle for carpet cleaning
After 3 years of use, I struggle to find anything negative about the Hoover Telios TX60PET. With the four nozzles and three accessories covering all cleaning needs, it is a complete solution for large and small spaces.
The special motor construction and very good sound insulation offer undisturbed cleaning with 62 dB at maximum power setting.
Regarding the power setting, after testing on different floors and using different nozzles, I found no reason to use anything other than the highest power, as even there the TX60PET has minimal noise and is effective. The only exception might be reducing the power on some carpets to prevent "suction".
The TX60PET glides smoothly and easily in the space, while the joint between the handle and the nozzle provides the necessary freedom and flexibility for maneuvering and using it under low furniture. The Loop handle, without offering any airflow adjustment options like other models, is comfortable to hold and provides effortless use.
The Carpet & Floor Supreme nozzle has enough height to collect dirt without leaving any residue. This is also aided by the bristles on the bottom and its dual function with the lever for switching.
For pet owners like myself, the Mini Turbo Pet removes pet hair without much difficulty from all surfaces. It also achieves very good results in cleaning car seats and mats. It requires a simple cleaning of its interior after a few uses, as some longer hairs wrap around its axis.
As for the Carpet Optimax Noozle, although it cleans carpets satisfactorily with its wide opening, the lack of suction adjustment can be a bit troublesome for smaller and lighter rugs, as they need to be stepped on to prevent them from lifting with the nozzle.
Finally, the Parquet Extra nozzle for parquet and other wooden floors protects the surface adequately with its soft bristles, without worrying about damage. However, the Carpet & Floor Supreme nozzle can replace it without any problem, as it is also safe for most wooden and sensitive floors.
The 8m cable offers a range of up to 10m, which is more than enough for most spaces.
Furthermore, all the components and attachments connect and disconnect easily and flawlessly, thanks to their very good design.
It is an excellent and efficient electric vacuum cleaner. And very quiet, I must say. When I received it for review, it cost around 170-200€, but now at 80€, there is no debate about whether it is worth it or not. I highly recommend it!
The device is made of plastic, has a small and convenient size, and only one power button with a light indicator. With a height of about 24cm and a width of 18cm, it doesn't take up much space and fits comfortably in any kitchen. The cable is 70cm long and could possibly be a bit longer.
The coffee pot has an induction metal bottom that fits into the special slot of the device and locks in place as soon as the power button is pressed. On the top part of the slot, there are sensors for temperature and overflow control.
The device operates in a very simple way: you put water, sugar, and coffee in the coffee pot, place it in the slot, press the button, and let it do its job.
I have been using the Beko BKK 2300 daily for at least 2 years, making at least 2 coffees a day. And while I had concerns about the result in relation to the coffee pot and the quality, it proved me wrong from the first coffee. Okay, from the 3rd or 4th coffee, until I found the exact dosage of coffee and sugar that suits my taste.
The key word in making Greek coffee with the BKK 2300 is Stability. Just like with all automatic devices, the result is always the same as long as you follow the same steps.
The brewing process takes about 2 and a half minutes for a double coffee, a little less than using a gas stove. But the main advantage is not the speed. It's the convenience. There is no risk of spilling the coffee, as the roasting automatically stops when the machine deems it ready. Also, stirring is optional and I didn't find any significant difference between stirred and unstirred coffee.
Although I can't find anything negative to say, I will be honest with the questions I will ask. Does it make better coffee than stovetop brewing? Obviously not, nor does it achieve that with the coffee pot. Does it make better coffee than the coffee pot? If you make good coffee in the coffee pot, no, otherwise yes, and with great ease. And it definitely makes better coffee than electric coffee pots. The closest example is espresso machines with capsules. You won't have the perfect espresso, but you gain convenience, speed, and consistency.
The Beko BKK 2300 Greek coffee machine currently costs around 75-80€, and if we consider the cost of buying the alcohol burners, it starts to pay off from the first year onwards. I don't consider it an expensive device, so if you are a lover of Greek coffee and want ultimate convenience, it's a big yes from me.
Inside the package, we naturally find the robot vacuum cleaner and the charging base. The vacuum cleaner has two buttons on the top, one for activation and one to return to the base, as well as an On/Off switch on the side. It has dimensions of 33 cm in diameter and 9.8 cm in height, normal dimensions for such a device. And weighs 4 kg, without any particular significance. The top part is made of reinforced glass for greater durability.
The battery is lithium and has a capacity of 5200mAh, with a theoretical maximum autonomy of 210 minutes and a time until full charge of 360 minutes.
On the top part, there is also the Lidar sensor from Epson, which maps the space with laser in 360 degrees and 28 high-precision sensors that read the space in order to avoid obstacles. It has "bumpers" with sensors on the sides to protect furniture and itself.
The Rohnson Mamba RM-02 robot vacuum cleaner has two bins for its two functions, one for vacuuming and one for mopping. The vacuuming bin has a large capacity of 600ml, opens completely for easy cleaning, and includes two removable filters, a simple one and a HEPA 14 for dust retention. The mopping bin has Velcro tapes where the special microfiber cloth sticks and a hole that closes with silicone from where it fills with water, with a capacity of 350ml.
There are two carbon fiber brushes on the right and left, and in the center is the main brush, which can be removed for easy cleaning or replaced with the soft brush.
It also has antibacterial UltraViolet-C lights that sterilize by emitting infrared light, eliminating bacteria and microorganisms while cleaning. Of course, at the bottom, there are two large wheels for movement and a small wheel for direction. Of course, at the bottom, there are two large wheels for movement and a small wheel for direction.
Now, let's talk about the past few weeks at home, where the Mamba RM-02 robot vacuum cleaner silently and autonomously did its job, cleaning and mopping while moving from room to room, in a 150 sqm apartment with two small children and two cats.
Before starting its tasks, the download and installation of the Rohnson App is required. Then, the vacuum cleaner obviously needed to map the space it would be in. Up to 10 different maps can be stored for different areas, such as home, vacation house, office. The process doesn't take much time, much less than I expected. Once this is done, you can define each room, give it a name, and set how you want it to be cleaned, in terms of power, mopping water, and the frequency of cleaning cycles.
Additionally, you can set areas where it will not clean, such as under a table or in the space where certain objects or pet food are located, as well as virtual walls that it will not pass through.
The robot vacuum had no difficulty in almost any cleaning task, always taking into account the capabilities of an autonomous robotic vacuum compared to traditional ones, where human hands significantly affect the quality and final result of cleaning. It successfully removed crumbs, dust, various other dirt, and of course, pet hair from the two cats, one of the most significant sources of "dirt" in a pet-friendly home. Its performance was similar on marble, parquet, and tiles.
In the highest power mode, sometimes, depending on the type and size of the stain, such as whole cereals, the vacuum would initially scatter them with its brushes if they were all gathered in the same spot, which of course it would later collect properly in its next pass, a little later.
The suction power of 4000 Pa is one of the highest among models of similar category and price, and it also has one of the largest dust collection bins. The 30,000 Pa for emptying the bin ensures that it will always be clean and ready for the next cleaning cycle.
Its autonomy is close to the theoretical 210 minutes of use and depends, as always, on the quantity of stains, the type of flooring, and other factors. With normal use, the 600ml dust bin will fill up and require emptying after cleaning approximately 400 square meters, at least in my case.
As mentioned by Rohnson, the 4 bags that come in the package will be enough for about a year and are also available for additional purchase. Of course, this may vary depending on usage and the size of the space, but 8-9 months seem like a very good duration. Obviously, there are available replacement bags that can be purchased additionally when needed.
Regarding the noise during vacuuming, it is considerably lower and discreet than expected for 70db, in the low power mode. With a little ambient noise in the room, you will hardly hear it, especially if it is not in the same room. The same applies to the medium power mode, but in the high power mode, it sounds like a traditional vacuum cleaner at 70db. However, when it returns to the base, things are different, as the noise is quite loud during the 10-second emptying process.
As for mopping, I consider it an additional feature that will help keep the house clean, but it cannot replace the traditional method, something that even dedicated mopping robot vacuums do not do so well. A pass with water and a microfiber cloth is enough to maintain a certain level of freshness, without the ability to add liquid cleaner or disinfectant, which is also quite rare in mopping robots.
The effectiveness of the UV-C lamps cannot be easily measured, so I will rely on the manufacturer's claims regarding the sterilization it performs.
The Rohnson app is rich, user-friendly, and has all the necessary settings and options for controlling and remotely managing the robot vacuum.
Well, I will try to be as honest as I can: Is 450-500€ a lot for a vacuum cleaner, robotic or not? Yes, it is. Is 450-500€ a lot for a robot vacuum cleaner? We could say it is. Is 450-500€ a lot for a robot vacuum cleaner with these features and capabilities? Definitely not. For anyone willing to spend such an amount on such a robot vacuum cleaner, the Rohnson Mamba RM-02 should definitely be one of the first ones to consider.
The Mamba will do its job as it should and will keep the house as clean as possible while you are away. It has a long battery life, a large dust collection bin, it returns to the base and empties itself, and it can even mop if needed.
What would I like? Ideally, there should also be an option for the Greek language in the App, for those who would desire it, although personally, I always choose English when it comes to technology. The language of the Application follows the selected language of the device it is installed on. Also, the ability to easily climb higher carpets would be appreciated.
Well, for the Pebble by Creative, I don't have much to say. Based on the price, it shouldn't be what it is! Economically, at around €20, they are small and discreet, with sturdy quality construction, beautiful and great for everyday use without many demands if you're not a music enthusiast and don't deal with sound, they are excellent.
Very good and unchanged sound with nice bass for the 4.4W and their size. Obviously, at high volume, some problems and limitations arise, but for gaming, movies, music, and online meetings, they are worth 100%, one of the most value for money products I have ever bought.
Oh, they don't need power either, they connect with USB and you can even manage with an extra socket. Which means you can take them outside too! The only downside is that I would like the cable between them to be a bit longer due to the distance it crosses on the desk between the two screens.
I have had them as the main sound source for the computer for several years and I also got them in white for the office. There is also a V2 version with 8W which will probably become my next speakers at some point in the future.
The specific WPA4220 KIT V4 duo from TP-Link is one of the best sellers on the market and was purchased to replace the extender I had at home.
It consists of the adapter that connects to the router via Ethernet and the extender that is placed in another area of the space and transmits the Wi-Fi signal. Specifically, TP-Link provides 500Mbps for wired connections and up to 300Mbps for 4th generation Wi-Fi. The extender has two Ethernet ports, so if necessary, it can also be used in this way.
Their connection was very easy, a simple plug and play, a pairing, and everything worked perfectly. After some tests, of course, as the signal depends on the quality of the circuit in the space and their intermediate connections. These apply, of course, to all powerlines, and I would recommend borrowing one before making a purchase to test if the speeds and performance meet your needs. I tried it in several outlets until I found the one with the highest speed, as there were significant variations. And under no circumstances should they be placed in a power strip, only on the wall.
In good locations, tests on the extender showed up to 80% of the router's Mbps, even at a considerable distance from room to room.
I highly recommend the TP-Link WPA4220 KIT based on its performance and, of course, its price at 55-65€. The only downside is that they do not have outlets for the power they occupy, although this is something that is found in more expensive models.
Inside the package, we find naturally the headphones, the dual 3.5mm cable for audio and microphone connection, and the 3.5mm to USB adapter. The headphones can be used with computers, consoles, and audio devices. The cable is 2 meters long, which is definitely a positive aspect, although I would prefer a braided cable for additional protection.
In the hands, they are quite lightweight, with quality slightly above average but by no means bad. They have leatherette-covered cushions on the ears and on the top. The ear cushions are comfortable and do not press on the ears, although they could be a bit more ergonomic in terms of design. In contrast, the headband is quite soft, but after 2-3 hours on the head, there is a slight discomfort.
On the left headphone, there is, of course, the microphone which can be adjusted up and down, as well as the volume adjustment wheel on the back. The sound of the microphone is quite clear and its noise cancellation works as it should. There may not be a mute button, but the function is activated when you lift the microphone.
The sound they produce is very good, with the 7.1 surround working exceptionally well for normal uses and demands. The only thing they lack is a stronger bass. In any case, the sound is decent whether you are listening to music and movies or gaming.
It should be noted that the G432 headphones do not have any active noise canceling, so if you work/play/entertain in a noisy environment, they may not cover your needs. Additionally, there is no RGB lighting, so forget about the best gaming performance.
Generally, for the same price range of 50-60€, there are several other alternatives in models from Razer and Corsair with better construction, performance, and user experiences. And even better options with a budget 10-15€ higher.
The second generation of the highly successful Deathadder model by Razer was released about three years ago and has since received love from gamers everywhere and beyond. After two years of daily use and a review later, let's see what I have to say!
The Deathadder V2 is large in size, sturdy but remains (relatively) lightweight at 82g for comfortable and easy use. It has a total of 8 buttons, 7 on the top and one on the bottom for selecting different profiles, which are defined in Razer Synapse. The logo and scroll wheel are illuminated, with their colors and type also adjustable in Synapse.
It is the most comfortable I have used, after the Razer Taipan. About 10 hours of daily use does not disappoint in any area, whether it's gaming, audio and image editing programs, or office work.
The 20,000 DPI sensor, although obviously not used to its maximum capabilities (at least not by me), is there as proof of where Razer can and wants to go with its mice. The response to commands is of course very fast, with Optical Switches offering more comfortable clicks, less latency, and longer lifespan compared to mechanical switches. The buttons are relatively quiet.
The Razer Deathadder V2 fits perfectly in my hand, is fairly quiet, and the cable does not tangle at all, even on a cluttered desk between monitors and other peripheral cables.
With Synapse software, you can maintain settings in a cloud environment on any computer. And of course, there are plenty of millions of colors to choose from, which, like stickers, increase FPS in games. Okay, maybe not.
The only thing that bothers me, although I don't need it, is its construction for exclusive use by right-handers. If I were left-handed, I would envy it a lot! Apart from that, it really is an excellent mouse, at a very competitive price, and judging from other Razer products, the Deathadder V2 will be "my right hand" for several more years. With a price of around €40-45 in the Greek market right now, the only competition it has is itself.
