Apple MacBook Air 15" (2024) 15.3" Retina Display (M3-8-core/16GB/256GB SSD) Starlight (GR Keyboard)
16 out of 17 members found this review helpful05at 2024-11-09Hello! I have had it for 5 months and it has covered and satisfied me as I wished and expected.
Design: The same recipe as the previous model, very high quality and sturdy, you feel like you have something expensive (and it is). I will also cover the connectivity in this section, which in my opinion is poor. It is not a full slim & ultrabook MacBook, but there have been times when the few ports have made things difficult for me. It doesn't have HDMI (of course, before you buy, you have accepted and know these things), it doesn't have USB A, but I have replaced, for example, the mouse with an adapter to USB C. 2 USB C ports & headphones. The Magsafe charging port is the best there is, with a strong magnet and good fit. As for Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, everything is very good, immediate and without any issues.
Display: Large, satisfying, and beautiful. I have loved True Tone here, as well as on all Apple devices that have it. It truly relaxes the eyes, doing an excellent job. The colors, clarity, brightness & viewing angles, covered in all aspects. Only the 60Hz might be a turn-off for some, I have no issue.
Battery: A beast here as well. Period. The best battery by far, in a portable laptop in the world (except for the company's pro models), but no one from the competition comes close. Apple has found the secret/recipe. No one can match them. 10 hours of video watching comfortably. A bit moderate use gives 7 hours and heavy (depending) definitely 5 hours. When a Windows laptop will give 5 hours of video watching. Also, the only ones that do not drop their speeds on battery and are as powerful as they are when plugged in, something that Windows laptops do not do. Charging has improved a lot, I have the 75W charger, from 20% to max in about 1 hour & 15 minutes.
Others / Peripherals: Keyboard, same recipe, same result, same enjoyment (comparison with MacBook Air M2), silent keys, high quality. Trackpad, very large size, comfortable to use. The gestures and tricks are similar to Windows, familiar and easy to apply. The 1080p camera is very high quality with center stage that centers your face or if you are many on the video call, everyone fits in the frame, microphones, very clear and good, with sound isolation, effects that actually work and make the call more professional. Speakers, I was impressed. Very high quality, loud, with emphasis on highs, lows, and bass, I didn't expect it. Apple has put in work here, and your entertainment becomes easy with these speakers, whether for music or video.
Software: Almost 1 year on Mac OS, I have gotten used to both its pros and cons. If you asked me to go back to Windows, I would say far away and dear ones. I can't justify the silly bugs / the growing pains that Windows has. Of course, I am not saying that Mac OS doesn't have bugs, but in the next small update, they pay attention to it and fix it. I know that Apple has a closed system that has to release software, while Microsoft has to support a bunch of companies and hardware that every company releases. But how smooth Apple's OS runs, tailored for its laptops, and how amazing the collaboration and ecosystem it has with its other devices, no one can match it. Many say these laptops are only for professionals, I disagree, an average user can easily take it and change their way of working and daily life compared to Windows. Everyone can get it except for gamers; there, the work is still not progressing.
Speed: Lightning. For the end of this category, because what I will say may be expected. One of the fastest machines out there and the only one truly without the use of fans for cooling and with speeds that other Windows machines need fans to avoid overheating. Completely silent, the machine surprises me with how they have made it. Yes, if it's summer with 40 degrees and you are editing video, then the machine will get excessively hot. But for everyday and moderate tasks, it handles them well and is at most lukewarm. M3, an incredibly powerful processor, fully snappy, no stuttering, no delays, of course with the help of the software that is written for this processor. Finally corrected the bad habit of giving their machines 8GB RAM, from what I read the base model will be at 16. 8GB is no longer enough, especially with the AI that has come. I upgraded, and I see it much snappier. It keeps everything in memory, I can have 15 tabs open in the browser (only Safari by the way) and I have no issue with memory filling up and sending to the hard drive to lighten the load. They fixed the issue where the SSDs in the base model of the M2 were significantly slower in write & read. Here we finally have the fast SSD. So, we are happy with the expected improvements. 256GB, a bit small for some in the base model, for me it’s just fine, there are solutions like cloud & external hard drives. RAM 16, it doesn’t change, it’s not upgradeable. The Apple Intelligence, unfortunately, I cannot evaluate, it’s in English and from next April it will come to our areas, and I believe very soon in Greek (due to AI, it’s easier to translate and write a language), if there’s a change, I might update my review.
Conclusions: Is it worth it? Yes, I would say, now that the base version is at the same price with upgraded RAM. Quality in construction, great display, lightning speed, immortal battery, good software (some like it, others don’t), once you enter the Apple ecosystem, it’s very hard to leave, and you get attached to it, you love it. In some tasks/jobs, your life becomes easier. Expensive yes, but with software support for 5+ years, it’s worth the money, it pays for itself and has resale value. Warranty from the best. (I needed it in the past) Thank you very much, I hope I tried to be as objective as possible, and analyzed the categories simply and without tiring you. Good continuation!

Microsoft Xbox Series S 1TB 1TB Carbon Black
3 out of 3 members found this review helpful05at 2024-11-08I have had it for 5 months. First time with this company. In terms of design, I really like the black, minimal & compact dimensions. It doesn't overheat during long sessions and is silent.
In general, I won't analyze much, it's been said a lot here.
The game pass is totally worth it, the best, with a lot of options in games, both quality and otherwise. The philosophy of buying a game for me is obsolete here. Yes, you have a subscription, but our lives are all about subscriptions now, if you think about it. Stunning graphics for such a small console, especially something like Forza Horizon 5. 60 fps, but of course, it's not as powerful as its sibling.
Very nice and fast software. You find what you want and have no issues. It also receives frequent updates.
The controller is comfortable to use, sturdy, and all the buttons are very high quality. No issues here either.
Now, who is it for and is it worth it? It's for those who have a PC and can play games due to game pass. It's for those who want the unique games that Microsoft releases. It's not the best console, of course, but for its price, it's worth it. -
De'Longhi Essenza Mini Pod Coffee Machine for Capsules Nespresso Pressure 19bar Black
6 out of 6 members found this review helpful05at 2024-11-08I have had this machine for 5 months and I would say I am quite satisfied. First of all, it's my first time using a machine and capsules. At first, I tried almost all the Nespresso options and I was pleased. I like bitter and strong coffee. Of course, always black. 90% of the time it's freddo, so I don't have an opinion on the hot ones. What I didn't expect is that all the capsules, in my humble opinion, that are for espresso, can also be made into freddo. The result for such a value machine and the ease of making it at home surprised me. In many respects, the coffee quality reached that of many cafes, without exaggeration. Not that it surpassed them, of course.
I am not a coffee expert; I try different ones and that’s how I gain my knowledge. I have tried all the coffee brands in capsules and Dimello is recommended.
Coffee preparation: The process is super easy, you press to heat it up and as someone mentioned here, it's good to let it heat a bit more, pour plain water to clean it from the previous capsule, and then put in the capsule. It makes a very nice body and crema, even as freddo. Two ice cubes in the glass and with one more, you shake it. That's my recipe.
Indeed, the water tank is small, but the essence is that the whole machine is compact in dimensions, which doesn't bother me. I actually wash the tank when the water runs out, and the capsule container is small, it can hold at most 5, but again, you can easily empty and wash it, no hassle.
Quality: I see it as sturdy, although it is plastic, it feels good.
Cleaning: It has instructions, it's a piece of cake and easy, and I can dare to say it's even fun. After cleaning, it really feels like drinking a different coffee. Recommended every 1.5 months or depending on usage. I count capsules and clean it roughly every 40 capsules.
Conclusions: For this price, the compact and nice - beautiful design, and the perfectly acceptable coffee results, I can't find anything negative and I recommend it without reservation. -
Apple MacBook Air 13.6" (2022) QHD+ (M2-8‑core/8GB/256GB SSD) Midnight (GR Keyboard)
21 out of 21 members found this review helpful04at 2024-06-15I had it in my possession for about 3 months. It has been replaced with the new M3 and there is a small reason. Design, very high quality and sturdy. I love the aluminum construction of it, all over its body. The screen has impressed me. I didn't expect it to be so good, the truth is, I wasn't prepared for it. It has very vivid and clear colors, whatever the creator wants to show, the screen shows it correctly, without any changes. Very high brightness. Battery, a beast. That's all I have to say. I have never experienced such a battery in a laptop before. I should note, first time on a MacBook, before that, I had a windows laptop. It lasts for navigation and light tasks up to 10 hours (or for video watching), which is crazy. I don't know what work and agreement they have done, but it does it very well. In heavier tasks, of course, the time drops by half, but still with a general windows, you can get up to 5 hours as general use. Let alone in heavy tasks where all windows laptops reduce performance with the battery in use, while in MacBooks, nothing like that happens. Very fast charging and I love the new MagSafe cable, which is magnetic, very convenient. Other: Keyboard... oh... The best I have encountered in a laptop. Decades better than anything else on the market. Yes, I am definitely exaggerating, but every keystroke gives you excellent feedback, silent and you know that you have pressed it. Shortcuts are also very useful, I need some time to learn them. Trackpad, this doesn't fall behind either, it definitely replaces a mouse for simple tasks, for navigation, etc. You can make very nice finger gestures, and in general, it works and is very responsive, efficient, and accurate. Ports, this is where things go wrong. Only 2 type c, you hurt Apple. I have gotten used to it though and I manage. Camera, very good resolution 1080p, you can easily make your video calls and the microphones work just fine. The speakers are very high quality, here Apple gives emphasis on this part, which in other laptops they have it as an indifferent feature and give rubbish. Here it has intensity, quality, in other words, you can watch your video and your series comfortably. Software. Finally! I was getting annoyed by Microsoft lately with their silly choices and decisions in their software. Silly bugs and things that were simple to do, we made them difficult. Here is an operating system that works flawlessly. The setup is very fast and understandable. Many options, and in general, if you have an iPhone, it works perfectly. Its ecosystem, cannot be matched by any other company, that's the truth. I need some time to learn it and detach from some things I had on Windows, but it will happen. Overall, I have become a big fan of the operating system. You need to work with it to understand more. Speed: Strangely, you will say, it left it last to mention, which the above, we would say it first and yes, I will agree. It only works silently, doesn't heat up in any task, and heavy (not editing) it's incredible and I don't know how it has achieved this. It's full snap, it doesn't lag anywhere and whatever you ask for, it gives it to you immediately. Foul now in this category from Apple, and why I changed. It's not possible, kids in 2024, to still give 8GB Ram. I'm not saying it doesn't run, but if you open 5 applications and 5 pages in the browser, the memory is not enough and it goes to the disk. It's a trick of the operating system, I don't know much detail to tell you about it, but I know that if the hard drive keeps writing and deleting constantly, it's bad for its health. Also, the hard drive writes slower than the ram, resulting in the system running slower. And second fault. I don't have an issue with the 256GB of space. I have an issue with the speed. A simple search on the internet and you will see that they have put a very slow ssd on the M2. Prohibitive, because this way it forces the M2 monster to be limited by the speeds of the ssd and the little ram. It's good for simple things, I don't deny that. But for something more, you go elsewhere. I may be exaggerating, but when you give 1,200€ to the machine, these should not be issues and should not exist. Otherwise, no problem, is it worth it? I would say those of you who don't have it, switch to the M3, as I did. I rushed to get the M2, that's the truth. It was sold at a very good price at least. I got the M3, again with 256GB, no problem, but here they have put the fast ssd again, and there is no limitation on the processor anywhere. And of course, I upgraded to 16GB of Ram, to be comfortable for the next 5 years. An evaluation for the M3 will come soon. Thank you very much and I hope I helped you, analyzed and did not tire you.

Apple iPad 2022 10.9" (4GB/64GB) Blue
9 out of 10 members found this review helpful05at 2024-06-15I have had it for about 1 month. First time iPad user. Very sturdy and premium construction. Exactly what I expected from an Apple product.
The screen is very nice, with color, vibrancy, resolution. I didn't expect anything wow, but it's not bad either, especially at this price point for the iPad.
Speed, classic A14, reliable and does whatever you ask of it immediately, without delays or glitches. It handles games and productivity tasks well.
Cameras, although I didn't use them much, are fully satisfactory, especially the front one which is in the right position and perfect for video calls where you are seen normally.
Connectivity with type c is great, fast wifi & bluetooth, no issues or problems in this area.
Battery, it's a beast, very impressive, lasts for 2 days of heavy use for sure, and if it's just for a bit or for YouTube, you forget to charge it. Charging takes time, about 2.5 hours, but I don't mind at all.
Software is familiar from my iPhone, the successful recipe that Apple has been using for so many years, everything runs smoothly, very good features, and user-friendly to work with. I had no issues during all the time I've been using it.
Recommended? If you want it for entertainment and productivity, yes! Does it replace a laptop? Absolutely not. Apple doesn't provide all the functions of Mac OS, which it could, especially on M chips, but it does it simply because then Macs would lose their usefulness. I agree with their thinking and move. But yes, it doesn't replace a laptop, it doesn't have a keyboard, and of course not all computer applications run on the iPad. Overall, I am very satisfied.- Speed

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10 Plus Robot Vacuum for Vacuuming & Mopping with Mapping and Wi-Fi White
24 out of 25 members found this review helpful05at 2024-06-15Verified purchaseFirst-time user of a robotic vacuum cleaner, and I had many doubts and questions. As soon as it did its first cleaning, all of them disappeared. I have had this specific vacuum for about 6 months.
Construction, very sturdy and overall hard and good quality plastics, it hasn't caused me any issues so far.
Cleaning, the first time is always fun, because it maps the house and goes wherever it wants. But after it learns your house, you better run and hide. I've noticed that the more it cleans, the faster it goes, because it knows exactly what's inside the house, no matter how strange that may be. Before I start it, I lift things up, like chairs, pillows, etc.
I want it to do a proper job. In a 100 sqm house, it initially took about 1.30 hours, now it can do the same in one hour, because it has learned it. It cleans effectively. It doesn't clean carpets as well, but I don't have many, if any, so it doesn't bother me. It reaches all the corners and every time it finishes, I wonder where it found so much dust in the bin... The mobile application is fully understandable and user-friendly. It has all the functions you would want. The battery lasts more than enough for the strong cleaning level, not on max because I didn't notice a difference and it consumes more battery and makes more noise. It has intensity and sucks up every piece of dirt on the floor. All the sensors work really well, and I am impressed. It reads everything perfectly and cleans each room, recognizing it exceptionally. At first, it does the perimeter and corners of the room and then goes zigzag and picks up everything nicely.
Mopping, I knew from the beginning that it wouldn't do anything crazy, its mopping pads are nice, but they are superficial. You can't pour any cleaning solution inside, I do the trick and pour it occasionally on the floor inside the house. It does the job for excessive dust.
Would I recommend it? Yes, I would say, if you have a big house, you're lazy to clean it when you have a day off during the week and you want to relax. I have completely replaced the conventional vacuum, it hasn't come out in over six months, since I got the robotic vacuum. I hope it continues to perform well in the future.- Effectiveness on floors

Harman Kardon Luna Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker 40W with Battery Life up to 12 hours Black
3 out of 3 members found this review helpful05at 2024-06-15I have had it in my possession for about 1 month. In terms of quality, it is fully premium, with sturdy construction and a heavy speaker. I really like the design. The sound is powerful and high-quality. No matter what genre of music you play, it performs very well, although not at 100% volume. Up to 80% is perfect, and you don't need more. After that, it loses some quality. The bass is good, and all frequencies are very nice. It connects instantly to the mobile phone and the battery is very good so far, and it charges quickly. I recommend it, it doesn't lack anything compared to other brands.

Sonos Roam SL Waterproof Portable Speaker with Battery Life up to 10 hours Lunar White
1 out of 8 members found this review helpful02at 2024-05-21I have no opinion on anything technical. The only thing I know and understand is the terrible connectivity with the application. The worst thing I have encountered in a product. Obviously, I do not recommend it. Fortunately, the product was purchased from a large chain and I returned it, the gentleman tried it and he couldn't connect either. I tried 3 devices and nothing. With fiber optic internet. If they don't fix the core of the system and the communication with the device, it doesn't matter if it has exceptional sound, I don't care. Very bad experience and I wanted to give the company a chance, but it's losing me.
