I would describe these shoes as Stan Smith killers. One of the best options for someone who wants something similar to Stan Smith (white casual sneakers), but also wants something different, if they are tired of seeing Stan Smith everywhere. For example, if they are in a group of 5 people and don't want to be basic and sheep-like like all their friends, then with the Reebok Classics Club C 85, they will be a bit more sophisticated and unique.
Now, seriously. I bought them on 25/03/2019 (Monday) for €62.73 on sale. The construction quality and leather for the price of around €60-70 that I got them for is absolutely value for money, considering that on the official company website in the USA, they are sold for around $70, which is approximately €62.5. For Greek standards and Europe in general, they are very good, if one can find them for €60-70. Now, if they are more expensive, for example, €80+, for larger sizes like mine (48.5+), big-footed people, let's all unite against this ruthless economic exploitation of our big feet! It's better to wait for a discount or price drop, unless of course, you want them immediately or money is not a concern for you.
Regarding the size and how they fit, spartoo.gr suggested a size smaller than usual, compared to athletic shoes for example. I ordered them in size 48.5 and the fit is perfect, just a little tight for the first two days. I will give you some examples of sizes from other models to give you an idea. I wear size 49 in Converse All Star Core Low (you all know which ones I'm talking about) and they are comfortable. I wear size 49 in Puma running shoes, and size 49.5 in Nike Pegasus 35 and 35 Shield. Generally, I have slightly wider feet than usual. I think you get a general idea, but personally, I recommend getting half a size smaller than what you usually wear in athletic shoes. If you are a bit daring or have narrow feet, even a size smaller than your regular size will be perfect. Now, for girls/women who have larger feet compared to the average and are looking for a model from men's sizes, the logic is similar to unisex sizes, meaning at least 1-1.5+ sizes smaller than men's sizes. So, if you wear size 44 in women's shoes, get size 42-42.5.
Moving on to appearance and maintenance. These shoes go well with almost everything, jeans, tracksuits, anything you can think of. They resemble Air Force 1s quite a bit, although they are slightly lower and lighter. The downside is that they get dirty easily if you get them in classic white color, just like Stan Smiths. So, from time to time, you need to clean them with a baby wipe around the sole. As for the creases on the leather, just like Stan Smiths, they might become worn out and damaged in the front after some time, especially if you constantly bend and flex them in the toe area. But they hold up slightly better than Stan Smiths, and I, who walk normally without bending my toes and the front too much, am satisfied with how the creases hold up. At the moment, they only have two horizontal crease lines on both feet in the front, which are barely visible when I put my feet inside and the leather stretches. Overall, though, it depends on how you take care of them, and that plays the biggest role. If you are rough and run like animals, over time your skin will get quite rough.
As for how they walk and how they feel. Well, they are not athletic, they are based on tennis shoes, but they are mainly for a relaxed walk, or if you are a bit lazy and don't feel like changing, for some weight training at the gym, that's it. In other words, after a maximum of 3 hours if you are standing or walking, your feet will start to hurt, at least that's how I personally experience it. Don't be scared, I don't mean anything extreme, but there will be some discomfort. Of course, you may have a different experience, I have wide, big feet and after a long walk they swell because I am a little overweight... hmm who knows?
That's it, I won't ramble on, I hope to help some who need an extra opinion. In closing, please, more of you who write reviews on shoes, dedicate an extra minute for a better description of the size, how the shoe fits you, by also giving some examples from other models/brands like me, so that we can have a better idea of the fit when we see reviews. Most sites/e-shops do not have such fit information (how it fits, true to size, larger, etc.), so if we want something better, without having to browse foreign websites to figure it out, we need to make a good effort, helping one reviewer to another, but mainly for those who want to buy but hesitate due to lack of necessary and basic information!
