I have herniated discs and that's why I bought this specific belt. You wear it and after an hour you realize that it does the job. When I wear it on my skin, after 2-3 hours it develops such heat that it becomes unbearable and I take it off (like I have put on a lion's plaster). This has been happening for a month now that I have been using it and overall I see that it reduces my pain. It has a very good fit and you can wear it comfortably when doing manual work. Although it is the first belt of this type that I use and I cannot compare it to another, it is worth its money.
