This is the first stick vacuum I am buying, so the comparison is with the classic vacuum cleaners.
1. The light it has is amazing and addictive. You see dust and debris where you thought it was clean. The transparent bin is also addictive as you can see how much dust your "clean" home has produced!
2. Its weight is a bit annoying when I vacuum the whole house (110 sqm), but the convenience of vacuuming without a cord is so great that I just switch hands and continue. It is easy to handle even with the hand that is not your "good" one.
3. Very convenient and easy to bend for under tables and furniture. Its movement on the floor is also easy.
4. Very easy to clean and empty with a click of the bin.
5. The noise on the low setting, which I mainly use, is bearable. You don't sleep next to it, but it doesn't disturb in the other room. On the other two settings, it is louder, like the classic vacuums.
6. It has good suction power. I mainly use the attachment with the narrow cylinder (not the one that is only for wooden floors) for all surfaces on low intensity, and it vacuums just fine for daily use. However, I don't have thick carpets, so I don't have an opinion on that.
7. It stands upright when the bin is not on it. With the bin, it stands barely but with a lot of risk of falling, so it needs support.
8. The battery definitely lasts for two full house cleanings and more on low intensity. It has never left me halfway.
9. The small attachments vacuum nicely on the sofas.
10. The vacuum itself has a weight that will tire you after a long time, but I have never needed it for more than 5 minutes.
Overall, the convenience of being able to grab it at any moment and vacuum is amazing, and it has made me vacuum a lot on a daily basis, even though I wasn't a big fan of vacuum cleaners. It is so convenient that my teenage son vacuums with it too, and he has told me that he will get one just like it when he goes to college.
CONCLUSION: It is worth the 150 euros I spent. I only feel sorry for my expensive vacuum that will be retired.
Durability and service, I don't know; time will tell.
Update: After about 2 months of daily use, I have to say that it indeed does not replace the traditional vacuum cleaner mainly due to its suction power. It is for dust and hair and light (in weight) debris. On the high setting, it does a better job but is noisy and runs out quickly. However, if someone has the money to spend, it is worth it for its convenience and for quick daily cleaning. As a vacuum, it does a good job with its many attachments. I have gotten used to it, but "to each their own..."
Update 2: 3 months later, it seems to have lost its suction power. It only picks up dust and anything else, like small debris, crumbs, and the rubber from my son's soccer shoes, it just rolls them and spits them out further down or if they are on carpet-like mats, it flings them left and right. Additionally, if I put my hand in front of the long nozzle for the vacuum, I don't feel it sucking at all. I will return it to service and await news. I hope it is defective because if they tell me this is how it functions, I will be very disappointed with the company and will regret my 150 euros... I will return with the results.
