You need to drill holes in the points where you will pass the supports for the bars. It already has pre-marked points for drilling, so you just choose the ones that fit your case. I used a drill for better results. Be careful with the car roof during drilling!
By pressing on the car's roof rail, all the supports easily fit in. I tried it initially with a ladder, but it requires someone to hold the ladder well, otherwise it will either touch the car or slip back...
I used it during a 1000 km trip over Easter. With quite a bit of rain, whether in motion or stopped, not a single drop got inside.
There is a difference in noise. It sounds like traveling with strong wind (continuous soft blowing at a speed of 120 km/hr). Personally, it didn't bother me much, but the rest of the family complained a bit. In general, the noise becomes noticeable after 100-110 km/hr. It can be heard earlier, but you need to focus your attention there. I didn't travel at speeds over 130 km/hr.
On the other hand, I enjoyed loading the car. Finally, I didn't have to play Tetris with the luggage. It comfortably fit all our things and my wife made good use of the extra space...
Long dresses, etc., were nicely spread out in a bag on top of the luggage...
As for locking, in my case and others, I felt safer when I pressed the lid with one hand and closed the latch with the other. Additionally, the key entered the lock much more easily when I sprayed a little lubricant. At first, it seemed to struggle a bit. However, I had read comments from other owners and was adequately prepared.
I didn't notice any significant difference in fuel consumption. About 0.3 liters/100 km more than usual. Travel speed on the highway was 120 km/hr.
On the rest of the provincial road network, there is no extra noise or consumption.
When I removed it after the trip, I got tired of cleaning the millions of insects that had been killed on it and on the bars. Especially at the points where it touches the bars, a whole swarm had stuck...
Be careful with handling it during installation and storage. It easily gets marks and scratches.
Overall, a very good choice, very useful for families, etc., at a very low cost.
I have no experience with other roof racks.
It is worth noting that the noise from the bars without the roof rack is unbearable. Even in the city, at speeds of 60+, the noise is particularly noticeable (loud humming, Hermes GS2 bars).

Driving is mainly relaxed (with the family). Occasionally, I may push them a little.
They have never let me down in terms of braking or turning.
Of course, I strictly follow the car's recommendations for tire pressure.
35 front, 33 rear daily and 36 front, 45 rear with a full load (values for cold tires).

Headphones for low demands.
If you want to use them for frequent professional phone calls while multitasking, get something else, especially if you are driving.
Until you figure out which side the base opens, until you put the first one in your ear, connect it, and simply answer, you miss the call.
Especially if you are driving at night, it is very difficult to distinguish where the base opens. You turn it around, feeling it with your hands, and inevitably let go of the steering wheel because two hands are required. One holds the base and the other opens it and takes the headphones. The accident is imminent... When you close it, it doesn't snap with one hand and no finger is safe...
Furthermore, with one headphone, you can't hear the interlocutor well because they have low volume. You always have to wear both. If you leave them in your ears, their battery lasts 3-4 hours on standby, which is nothing. If you wear them and eat or frequently turn your head left and right (work, driving, etc.), after a while, they fall out of your ears...
Now, ANC, etc. is something we wish we had to talk about...
If you want them for the couch and listening to music (without quality demands), they are fine. You get what you pay for.
