Everything worked perfectly on my machine. I simply applied the micro filter directly and didn't bother at all with the type c ones, which are obviously for medium and above coffee grinding. The lid is screw-on and easy to use. For me, who doesn't have particular demands on how the coffee is presented in the cup, it deserves the 5 stars.
