I have had it for 1 year and 2 months. I got it while I had VDSL because I had many disconnections (maybe 20 in a day, I changed the wiring, technicians came several times, nothing...) and since I work from home, I didn't want to switch from the VDSL Router to the 4G router and back every now and then. Now that I switched to FTTH, I kept it because the provider's router seems very limited to me.

Minus 1 star because:
- the failover between 2 WANs takes 1+ minute.
- the setup takes time and familiarity with the router.

On the positive side:

If you enable load balancing between 2 (or more) connections, in torrents, steam downloads, and generally anything that does parallel downloads, you can fully utilize the total speed. WARNING! It does NOT work this way for downloading files from a browser, etc. It is not a problem with the router; it is normal since you are making a single connection to the server.

It supports multiple VPN protocols (OpenVPN/Wireguard and for the more old-school types L2TP/PPTP/IPsec).

If you have smart devices, and load balancing is active, you can bind them to go out from a single network so you don't have issues (Tuya, I'm looking at you).

You can set up VLANs to "cut off" communication between specific devices if you don't trust them.

Its USB can be used either for Modem or for Storage where you will keep a backup of the config.

If your provider's router supports bridge mode, you can make the ER605 perform the PPPoE call and essentially make it function as the router.

Except for the delay in failover, it is a reliable machine, ideal for home office/small office.

Attention! If your devices do not support WiFi 6E, go for a different, cheaper model.

The only significant drawback that immediately takes away a star is that you cannot separate the 2.4GHz from the 5GHz. There is a "workaround" for this:
- You activate the IoT Network (in the Deco app, More -> IoT Network), and turn off the 5GHz band.
- You turn off the 2.4GHz band in the WiFi settings and you’re ready.

As for the other negatives (which for me do not warrant the removal of another star), they do not affect my experience that much, but for some, they might be dealbreakers. (My setup is Provider Router => TP Link ER605 => Main AP via cable on failover, and the 2nd AP in the living room via Wifi.)

- The Mesh does not always work correctly. Sometimes it keeps me connected to the farthest AP, with 1 bar, while I am next to the secondary AP, resulting in moments where I cannot access the internet.
- Lack of essential UI settings via computer, essentially you can only do what you want through the DECO app, which is not very practical for me, but I don’t mess with it all the time.
- You cannot mount them on the wall; you need to buy wall mounts that cost up to €15/piece + customs if you are unlucky.

On the positive side:
+ I get 300 down/30 up on both APs
+ In a speed test within the local network (on a device connected via ethernet to my router), I achieved full gigabit speed both down and up.
+ Its range is better than the previous Access Point I had (Asus Lyra Mini)
+ The network is stable; I have not had any problems so far
+ They are relatively nice in the space.

I have them for 5 days and I use them a lot. I mainly got them for music while walking and for making a phone call when I'm taking care of the little one. I got them for €40.

In summary, if you don't have crazy demands from the microphone and you're not looking for perfect sound, it's an okay purchase if you find them for €25-€30.

In more detail...

Very good battery, I'm at 8-9 hours and it's at 50%, I believe Sony intentionally put 15 hours of music playback instead of 20. It connects very easily with other devices (for those who are looking, when the earphones are off, you press the power button for about 7 seconds and it enters pairing mode).

The sound... With a little adjustment in the device's equalizer, it's quite good, but not €40 good. At €25-€30, the earphones would be very decent.

Now, for calls, if you're not moving and it's not windy, the other person can hear you perfectly. If you're walking, the microphone picks up a little movement on your clothes. If it's windy, it's better to forget it! It doesn't have background noise reduction, with all that entails.

Nevertheless, they seem quite durable - time will tell, if they last, I'll be satisfied with them! For now, I consider that I lost €10

Είχα πάρει τις VT-5113 πριν ένα χρόνο, για να έχω "έξυπνο" φωτισμό στο σαλόνι, την κουζίνα και το γραφείο. Είχαν κάποια μικρά θεματάκια, αλλά τίποτα που να χαλάσει την εμπειρία. Μετακόμισα σε μεγαλύτερο σπίτι και είπα να βάλω παντού smart, εκτός από τον διάδρομο και το αποθηκάκι. Οι VT-5113 εξαφανίστηκαν από την αγορά, και είπα να δοκιμάσω τις συγκεκριμένες.

Έχοντας κατά νου το κόστος της συγκεκριμένης λάμπας, οφείλω να πω ότι είναι καλύτερη από την 5113. Τις σύνδεσα στο Tuya Smart αντί της εφαρμογής της VTac, και δουλεύουν άψογα. Μπορείς να ρυθμίσεις να αναβοσβήνουν σε random φάσεις οι λάμπες μεταξύ των ωρών που θέλεις (πράγμα που οι 5113 δεν έχουν), και τα χρώματα είναι λίγο πιο καθαρά (όχι όμως τέλεια, όπως σε πιο ακριβές λάμπες) - τα οποία φυσικά δεν είναι πολύ έντονα, όπως και σε όλες τις φθηνές RGB Led λάμπες (smart & μη).

Η έλλειψη υποστήριξης 5GHz WiFi δεν έχει καμία ουσιαστική συνέπεια στην λάμπα, πρακτικά κανένας δεν λειτουργεί μόνο στα 5GHz, και αν είσαι ένας από αυτούς, με 10 ευρώ smart λάμπα και 5GHz; Δύσκολα είσαι, πρέπει να πας σε κάτι πιο ακριβό ή να ανοίξεις το 2.4GHz δίκτυο του router σου. Παρόλα αυτά, το WiFi της έχει καλή εμβέλεια.

Μέσα από το Tuya Smart, μπορείς να ρυθμίσεις αν μετά απο διακοπή ρεύματος θες να επανέλθει στην προηγούμενη κατάσταση λειτουργίας (αν ήταν σβηστή, να παραμείνει σβηστή) ή να ορίσεις ένα default που θα χρησιμοποιεί μετά την επαναφορά της ηλεκτροδότησης - και με αυτό τον τρόπο αν είναι σβηστή, μπορείς να την χρησιμοποιείς και σαν να μην ήταν smart: κλείνεις διακόπτη, περιμένεις 3-4 δευτερόλεπτα και ανοίγεις. Προσοχή όμως, 3 φορές άνοιγμα-κλείσιμο = reset και θέλει πάλι ρύθμιση.

Φυσικά και δεν είναι όλα τέλεια, αλλά μέχρι στιγμής με την χρήση που κάνω στις λάμπες, δεν είχα κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα.

Τέλος, συνδέεται σε Google Home και Amazon Alexa για φωνητικό χειρισμό.
