• Although I am a Husqvarna Guy as I have a lawnmower and a big chainsaw from Husqvarna, I would say that the Echo is a better pruning saw in its category by far in my opinion. I mainly use it for pruning but also for small trunks. The new bar and chain with an even narrower groove .043 (1.1mm) combined with the new chain with small and narrow teeth cuts like a laser with speed and ease without kickback. Really, when you see it for the first time, you easily mistake it for a child's toy. Extremely lightweight and powerful, which makes it effortless and comfortable for everyday use. I should also mention that it is Made in Japan and comes with a 5-year factory warranty!!

  • I have had this machine in my possession for about a year and a half and I use it professionally. I have never had any issues with it, it starts easily, it is very powerful at 3.1hp and has good torque due to its engine size. It is probably the lightest in its category, weighing under 9kg (8.6), and has over 3hp at 50cc. I have ended up using it with the square Husqvarna trimmer line of 3.3mm and it is unstoppable, it cuts through everything. The only negative thing I can find is the attachment that comes with the trimmer, I didn't like it at all, but the machine itself is excellent.
