I bought it (Curved 27") in June 2020, for around 280 euros. I was torn between this one and the Ultrawide LG, like many others I imagine.

I am EXCITED. It performs amazingly at 144hz & 120hz.

- With an RX580, I can play most games at over 90-100hz (VSync OFF --> FreeSync ON) @1080p.
No blurriness at 1080p, which I was afraid of. However, because I'm curious like you, I found that if you increase the Sharpness from the RADEON Control Panel, it almost eliminates blurriness when lowering the resolution.
- At 1440p, it's incredible, crisp and rich.
- Anyone playing FPS Games (CoD, R6, Overwatch) will take advantage of the 144hz@1080 & Response time.
- Anyone who doesn't play Competitive or happens to play something cooler, can enjoy 1440p and look great.
You're buying this flexibility, plus in the coming years GPUs (<200) will see 1080p and laugh..

- Ghosting is generally non-existent or at least negligible.. (e.g. in FIFA, you might see a cursor ghost at 120hz and above, use Frame Cap if you're curious and troublesome)

- Personally, I really like the colors, they are close to IPS, with obviously limited viewing angles and minimal black uniformity anomaly in the corners, but it's fine.
(Look for color profiles, in about 10 minutes you'll find ready-made profiles and settings to make it perfect. It scores 8.4 out of 10, and 9.5 after the settings. I recommend R45-G50-B43)
- Contrast & Brightness are good in this category, especially the contrast is very good. Brightness is fine, even great for nighttime. If you have some extra money, you can get a brighter one if Mamra Pantotinos comes, what can I say.

- Stand, neck, tilt, ergonomics, etc. are great. Good quality plastics and overall compact.
- A nice plus is the USB hub, for a mouse, keyboard, or charger (permanently though, I don't recommend plugging and unplugging, it's not very convenient in that position compared to the side IO..)

- No Flickering, No Input Lag.

UPDATE 23/6/20: 11 days after the purchase, a burnt pixel appeared, visible on a black background. I left it for a few hours to see if it would recover, and in the end, I returned the monitor to the store for inspection. I'm waiting for an official response on what will happen, as they also saw the issue. In communication with AOC's "representative," we didn't reach a conclusion as they refer to a tolerance policy for pixels, sub-pixels, and such. We'll see the reaction of both parties in the case of a DOA monitor within 10 days of purchase. I must say, it will be a disappointment, but it's important for the community to know what to expect from a manufacturer (and seller) in such a situation.

UPDATE 7/7/20: The company proceeded with a replacement and I received a new one today. It still deserves 5 stars, the inconvenience is worth it.

Αν δεν παιζεις games, δε νομιζω οτι θα χαρεις το 100% του, μιας και περαν απο την κορυφαία αισθηση και ευκολια χρησης, συνοδευεται απο ΤΟ ΚΑΛΥΤΕΡΟ SOFTWARE που αφορα customization (RGB, Macros, Profiles κλπ)

Για όσους ειδικά δεν είναι εξοικειωμένοι με το Customization και τα Profiles, φανταστείτε το εξής :

- Είσαι στο FPS παιχνίδι σου και μοιράζεις headίδια. Ειναι βράδυ και εχεις κλειστά φώτα. Όμως φωτίζονται μόνο τα πλήκτρα που πατάς στο game, ASDW , shift, space ,1234 κλπ. Ολα τα αλλα πληκτρα μαυρα.
- Βγαίνεις με AltTab να αλλάξεις τραγουδάκι στο Spotify, και το Keyboard φωτίζεται όλο λευκό, γραφεις στο Search Σακης Ρουβας - Αντεξα, ξαναμπαινεις στο game. Σκοταδι ξανα.

Περα απο την πλακα, εκτος του Software, το πληκτρολόγιο είναι όσο ακριβό πρέπει για να ειναι κορυφαιας ποιοτητας,αλλα και οσο οικονομικο γινεται για να μη δωσεις τα κερατα σου και πρακτικα να αγορασεις κατι παρομοιο.

Όποιος θέλει να αγορασει ενα προιον για 5+ χρονια το λιγότερο, και καθημερινη χρηση φυσικα, ειναι κορυφαια επιλογη. Όποιος το έχει δεί στο γραφείο, προφανως αναγνωρίζει ότι ειναι ΣΤΟΛΙΔΙ, και όποιος γράφει σε αυτό πάντα αναφέρει ποσο satisfying feeling έχει στο γραψιμο. Γραφεις σα τη Βουγιουκλάκη στο εργο που έλεγε "πιο γρηγορα παρακαλώ , πιο γρήγορα"

UPDATE : Μετά απο 1,5 χρόνο και βάλε, το wrist rest παρουσιασε peel off φθορες. Παιδιά, η αντιπροσωπεία δεδομένης της καλής γενικής κατάστασης στο πληκτρολόγιο (και 2ετους εγγυησης), έστειλε ανταλλακτικό! Πολλα μπραβο στην εκπρόσωπο της Razer στην Ελλάδα.

Since I see that there aren't many reviews, I will write one.

If you plan to stay at 1080p for the next 2-3 years, get it now. It's worth more than 200 euros but less than 250 euros. (2018)

Also, it can handle some games at 4K resolution @ 60FPS, and most games at 4K@30FPS. It's the same or better than a PS4 Pro.

I don't see a reason to go for a GTX 1060 6GB, unless you want better temperatures, if you live in Rhodes for example. In terms of FPS, the RX580 is superior everywhere, and it's also CROSSFIRE capable, if you get a cheap second-hand one later.

TEMPERATURES
Idle: 35deg (Room temperature 20deg) @ Fans: 0-15%
Gaming: 70-80deg MAX (Room temperature 20deg) @ Fans: 30-60%

UPDATE 06/2019: Occasionally, a small overclock with MSI Afterburner is needed to prevent FPS drops to 55-58, but also to keep the noise low. A 5% increase in GPU & VRAM maintains 60FPS in all the games I play. I also recommend setting the fans to 50%, especially in the summer. Temperature at full load is around 65-70 degrees, at the end of June. It's not bad at all, after all.

UPDATE 12/2019: Guys, maybe you know this, and some others do too. After months of driver updates & W10 updates, it's worth reinstalling the drivers from scratch (maybe even do a format if you feel like it). With a DDU reinstall of the latest AMD drivers, my card now gives me 60FPS in EVERYTHING, on Ultra & Very High settings. I saw a huge difference mainly in the stability of 60FPS.

The RX580 still kills the 2019 AAA games, with a 4th Gen i5 and 8GB RAM. Call of Duty MW 2019, all HIGH @ 60FPS constantly.

ANOTHER UPDATE: After buying a 1440p 144hz monitor (AOC 27"), the party got wild for the RX580. Let me tell you, with 80% render resolution, it still plays CoD.MW on high settings at around 90FPS @ 1440p! The same goes for R6Siege. Personally, I find the golden ratio with under-rendering, as it only affects the textures and not the overall sharpness and quality. This beastly 580 still chews iron, unbelievable. I didn't expect it to perform like this at 144hz & 1440p.

OK, last UPDATE, 3/2022: I casually installed CyberPunk 2077 (and even installed it on NAS for fun, not even on an SSD). We're talking about a game with a bad reputation for optimization. Well, on Medium settings, it gets 79FPS avg @ 1440p with Fidelity set to Balanced and Vsync OFF. I thought it was a joke, the benchmark was fooling me, but when I actually played the game, it was buttery smooth. We're not okay. Also, CoD Vanguard at 1440p @ 0.80 render on Medium easily and consistently gets 90FPS on all maps. This card is unreal.
