For Athens, there is no frequency without interference unfortunately, maybe in the province things are better. Get a better Bluetooth that connects directly to the device if you have an old type RCD.

Easy installation. Immediate connection. Perfect sound - no difference from a radio.
Negative: With slight movement, it loses contact with the power supply. It doesn't have a clip to secure it. It might improve with a modification.
However, it is not affected by pavement - cobblestones - braking - turns.

In terms of sound quality, it's not like a CD, it's like 112kbps, like a radio station (obviously) but it's okay. The phone calls are fine, with a fairly sensitive microphone and the caller doesn't hear their voice as loudly as you have it on the speakers.

Did you find this review helpful?Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I can manage to get any results. The frequencies are saturated and it's a lot of noise to operate it effectively. My rating has to do mainly with the overall result and not just the device itself.
Especially on the national road where stations appear in different areas at frequencies and you have to play with the frequencies while driving. Something that I obviously didn't do for safety reasons, so I simply deactivated it.
Device issue #1: the spring at the front edge has so much force that it pushed it out of the lighter case and I was trying to find a way for it not to come out.
Device issue #2: having it in operation, obviously driving and wanting to have my hands on the steering wheel, I tried to dictate to Google Maps for a destination. The result is that the device took the dictation as a contact search command to call and started making phone calls. Fortunately, it called mine, don't ask me why because I didn't understand that either, but in the end, the only way to search for something by dictation was to remove it from the lighter.
In the end, I put it back in its box. And it will probably stay there.
P.S. I am now leaning towards a Bluetooth audio receiver with a 3.5mm output that will drive the car's AUX in. We'll see how that goes too...

For its price, it is decent and very good, the callers can hear you very well.Its sound could be better, I mean, it needs quite a bit of lowering around 20 to 23 to eliminate the distortion, which means that the volume of the source should be increased significantly.
Something that no one has mentioned anywhere, neither on the internet nor in the reviews, and is the most important thing, is that it is not STEREO, meaning it only plays in mono. This is a major drawback. However, if you also get a fast charge cable, it does have fast charging.
Also, when I played songs of studio quality from a flash drive, no matter the volume, if I set it above 15-18 on the transmitter, it distorted, and the same thing happened with another friend's flash drive with songs downloaded from YouTube.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it does its job, and even better than other Chinese ones in the range of 5 and 10 euros.

It has generally saved me as I use it for music, speech, and charging. After two years, I will say that the USB charging ports have stopped providing power at random times. Also, regarding speech, you have to speak loudly to be heard as it has a very small microphone, but it does its job (it's not meant to capture the conversation but to answer while driving). Overall, I have no complaints, it's worth its money even though I see that the price has increased, the purchase was made around 20€. For Akai, very good construction.
