    The product resembles very little salep, because it is practically corn starch with just traces of salep. It is also 17% less than what is stated on the packaging (net weight only 70 g, instead of 84 g, weighed on a precision laboratory scale).

    With a price for salep at 240 €/kg and for corn starch (corn flour) at 2.50 €/kg, for the product to cost 4.54 € for 70 g, i.e. 64.86 €/kg, it would need to contain 26.3% salep. However, if it contained that much, i.e. about 1/4, the taste of salep would be very strong and not almost nonexistent.

    I am very sorry for their unrestrained profiteering at the expense of so many consumers. Fortunately, there are many better and more honest options on Skroutz.

  • The Aquano Logica Balcony Plus (or alternatively Claber 8446) is essentially the same irrigation programmer as the Claber 8444, but adapted for use on a balcony (instead of a garden), with shorter watering times:
    1, 2, 5 min / 12 h
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15 min / 24 h
    2, 5 min / 48 h
    8 min / 72 h

    Very reliable, with a solenoid valve that interrupts the flow in case the battery runs out and with a very simple programming (simply select a number from 1 to 15). The only downside: the setting of the watering start time is the moment of selecting the program (and the repetitions follow accordingly) - it cannot be a different time.

    Ten years ago, I bought 3 identical Galcon 9001D and until today, 2 of them still work perfectly (the third one recently broke). They are placed in a garden, exposed to sun, rain, and snow. They are very easy to program in any combinations one can think of. When I don't use them, from autumn to spring, I don't disconnect them from the network, but I cover them well with transparent membrane. They are the best value for money I have ever bought, as they replaced a bunch of Gardena irrigation programmers, cheap and expensive ones, which in the same exact conditions didn't even have half the lifespan. As for the problem with the battery door mentioned by other users, if you find the right way to place it, without pressure and the risk of breaking it, it stays intact forever.

    Extremely soft (without compressing, though, all the way down), stable, with good quality foam material (durable).
    What is not visible in the photo are the two suspension rings on the top, which you can see in my photo, as well as the carrying strap (connected to the two black circular straps you see here).
