Dreame Rechargeable Stick Vacuum White
at 2025-01-08Verified purchaseI had the T10, which I gave to my mother when I bought the R20. As soon as I saw the R10, the newer model of the T10, at 120 euros, I bought it as a gift for my brother. At this price, we are not talking about a purchase, but about theft. We are stealing from the company...
Those of you who want can read my review for the T10 here on Skroutz. The two vacuums have the same performance characteristics. Unfortunately, the extendable hose has been removed from the R series, which is an essential component in my personal opinion. From a well-known Chinese store at a reasonable price, you can find the accessory for the T10 that fits the R10 as well. The nozzle on this specific model has lighting, a useful feature, but the most important thing is that it is designed better and can achieve better cleaning on carpets (see T10 review).
I recommend it to those who do not have large homes and want a decent stick vacuum. If you are tired of corded vacuums and have not had experience with stick vacuums in the past, at this price, it is your chance to try one without regretting it!

Mercola CL 34 Rust Cleaner Spray Suitable for Marbles & Joints 500ml
at 2024-09-08In September '23, the scaffolding that had been erected for the installation of external thermal insulation was taken down, and one of the legs was rusty, leaving a mark on the tile. In May '24, I used this specific cleaner, and the rust was removed on the first attempt. Then, I cleaned years' worth of dirty joints with just one spray. Finally, I used it on tiles with rust and dirt, placed in a half-finished building over 7 years old. Here, the process had to be repeated 3 to 4 times, and I estimate that 90 to 95% of the rust and dirt was removed. So far, due to work, I haven't repeated the process on those specific tiles. Today, I had the brilliant idea to use it in the toilet to remove grime that wouldn't budge with chemicals, steam cleaners, baking soda, vinegar, and other concoctions. I removed the water from the toilet, sprayed, waited 10 minutes, scrubbed with a sponge, and finally! I highly recommend it.

This specific film is COB Led technology, it is RGB and its width is 10mm, the same as classic SMD films. It is easily placed in aluminum profiles, it is quite flexible and because the LEDs are covered with phosphor coating, in case you need to remove and reattach it, there is no risk of easily breaking it and not illuminating from that point onwards. If placed behind a cover, no gap is visible between the LEDs. Unfortunately, it operates at 24V dc, so if you have 12V films, like in my case, you will have to bear the additional cost for new power supplies. I use them in some DIY floor lights, which I don't have directed towards the wall as hidden lighting, but towards the room, and many times they are the main lighting of the room. They are very bright, in white they can illuminate the space quite well. Their brightness is really great.
As negatives, I would mention their high price (36.5 euros purchase price), without coming with a controller. I would also prefer the saturation of the colors (Red, Green, Blue) to be more intense, and in white (cool-warm) it seems to have a slight bluish tint. Of course, RGB films do not have separate LEDs for white light, but the previous RGB film I had, from the Sonoff company, had better color rendering for white. Despite their high price, I am absolutely satisfied with the purchase, the only question is their durability over time. If someone is thinking of installing LED films in their home, I would recommend going straight to COB films.

Dreame T10 Rechargeable 2 in 1 Stick & Handheld Vacuum 25.2V White
at 2023-03-23At a current purchase price of 160 euros, I don't think there is another vacuum cleaner as high-quality, powerful, and with as many accessories. I didn't buy the T20 because there have been issues with its electric brush and continuous operation button, but after 4 months of using the T10, I would take the risk with the T20 at 220 euros for better performance, longer battery life, and higher quality construction.
The first thing that impressed me is the build quality and how "compact" the vacuum cleaner is, it doesn't look fake at all. It comes with all the necessary attachments, the small electric brush which does a great job on sofas, beds, and in the car, and the extendable hose, which helps clean difficult areas, are my favorites. At low speed, it easily picks up rice grains, barley, and Greek coffee from the tiles. So, I consider the first speed sufficient for floor cleaning. At the second speed, the suction power increases significantly and the operating time is around 20 to 25 minutes. The noise at these two speeds is quite low. At the third speed, the suction power is very strong, but the operating time is around 5 to 7 minutes, and it is advisable not to use the vacuum frequently at this speed in order to achieve maximum battery life over time. The cyclones of the vacuum do an amazing job, no matter how much I pushed it, I found very little dust in the filter of the dustbin, which is quite impressive! Finally, I would like to note that it is quite lightweight and can be easily maneuvered in all directions.
As a negative point, I would mention the fact that they chose to use very soft bristles on the brush, which means it cannot achieve deep cleaning on carpets with long pile. On my carpets, which have medium and low pile with dense weaving, I would say it does a very good job, but I noticed that I have to make slow movements to untangle threads. If the design of the brush was better, it would outperform vacuum cleaners priced at 300 and 400 euros. Also, as I mentioned before, the brush does a very good job on floors at low speed, but to achieve that, it needs to be very close to the ground, which means it cannot easily pick up large objects, such as cheerios-type cereals.
If you have carpets with long pile and a two-story or fairly large house, I would recommend going for the T20 or T30. These models have automatic operation, where the vacuum adjusts its suction according to how dirty the floors are, achieving longer operating time. They also have better performance, to give you an idea of the difference, the T30 at low speed is slightly more powerful than the T10 at medium speed!

Jack & Jones Winter Jacket Bomber Black
at 2022-11-29Verified purchaseI bought it for 52 euros for everyday use (work, daily shopping, etc.) and I am completely satisfied with this purchase at this price. Classic style with some modern details, such as the buttons and laces on the hood, the leather logo on the left sleeve. Its color is black and looks better in the last photo. It is a winter jacket, in the photos it looks thinner, with fur on the hood down to the waist, I wear it at 4-5 degrees in the morning with wind and humidity and I don't feel anything. It has an internal pocket and 6 external ones. With a height of 1.75 and 75 kg, I got the Medium size, the length is normal, but when I button it up, I would say that I feel it a bit towards a tight fit. If there was an option to remove the fur, it would be perfect. For its price and the reason I bought it, I can't find anything negative.

Shark HZ500EU Electric Stick Vacuum 450W Black
at 2022-08-18I bought this specific vacuum cleaner 1.5 years ago from a well-known store in Germany for 240 euros, to replace the Rowenta RH8133WA (which I have also reviewed here on Skroutz). It is a stick vacuum with a cord and at the moment it is being sold for under 200 euros, which I consider to be a very good choice for anyone who doesn't want to spend 350 to 400 euros for a good cordless stick vacuum.
The build quality is very good, mainly made of plastic, but everything is of good quality and so far I haven't encountered any issues, either with the various buttons, the mechanism called Flexology by the company, or the brushroll or the dustbin. I only had one issue which I will mention below. The brushroll of the vacuum is motorized and consists of two brushes (DuoClean). One soft brush in the front, which easily captures large objects mainly on tiles (rice, lentils, etc.) and a brush designed for carpet cleaning (see 4th photo). Although it is only 450W, due to the brushroll it achieves better carpet cleaning than the 750W Rowenta. The power of the vacuum has only one setting, but there are two speeds of rotation for the brushroll, a slow one for hard floors and a fast one for carpets. For medium and low pile carpets, like mine, I consider it to be excellent. I would like to mention that the brushroll also has LED lights, which are a very useful additional feature, more than one can imagine. It can be easily maneuvered in all directions, but the brushroll itself is quite bulky and large. Its length is 26cm and its height is 6 to 7cm, so it may not fit easily in narrow spaces and under furniture. The dustbin is bagless and can be emptied and cleaned quite easily. The filtration is very good, the vacuum also has a Hepa filter, but the dustbin filter, although washable, collects quite a lot of dust on its surface and requires thorough cleaning either with another vacuum or with an air compressor. Finally, although it cannot stand upright, due to the fact that it "breaks" in the middle, I would say that it is very easy to store, without taking up much space (see 2nd photo, although it is a corresponding cordless model by the company).
I would say that as a stick vacuum it is quite heavy, although it can be easily maneuvered in all directions, if you need to lift it to pass it over its cord with one hand, you will immediately feel its weight. Also, as a handheld vacuum, although it does a very good job, after a point it starts to strain the hand. In general, it is not as lightweight as cordless stick vacuums and I would like you to keep that in mind before making the final purchasing decision. Also, although it comes with an attachment for corner cleaning and an attachment for sofa cleaning, I would like the electric pet brush to be included (which is provided with the corresponding "gold" model, but not with the "purple" one). Finally, you cannot find accessories for this specific vacuum in the Greek market, although now that various stores offer Shark vacuums, things might change. I buy filters from a Chinese store at low prices, but I can't find the soft brushroll for this specific model no matter what. I have washed the old one once and it is like new, but I would like to have a spare, and I would say that the filters of the vacuum cleaner need to be changed every 9 to 10 months with daily use. The biggest problem I had was with one of the two wheels at the bottom of the soleplate. The rubber casing on one of them dissolved after 4 months of use, and the vacuum cleaner could not move on either tiles or carpets. I came up with a workaround and they improved from what they were initially, but the fact that there are no available spare parts in the Greek market is a major drawback.
Overall, it is a vacuum cleaner that, if it does not completely replace your electric vacuum cleaner, will make you use it once or twice a month. If you are thinking of buying a good corded electric vacuum cleaner and you find one for around 200 euros, I would strongly recommend considering the purchase of this specific vacuum cleaner. Jimmy HW8 Rechargeable Stick Vacuum 28.8V Silver
at 2022-04-16I bought it for 156 euros and I am absolutely satisfied. I would even give 180 to 190 euros. Above that, I would probably go for the Dreame H11 VWV7, which is currently selling for 230, or I might consider the Dreame H11 Max Black, so satisfied I am with this machine that combines vacuuming and mopping floors.
The build quality is quite good, but I would not characterize it as premium. The display adds a lot of points to the eye, but its main utility, apart from being visible, is that it shows the battery percentage in real time. You know the battery level at any time and when you get familiar enough with the vacuum, you can calculate the area you can cover. The battery can last from 25 to 30 minutes with little use at high speed and more at low speed. The first time it seemed insufficient to me, but the more I got used to the vacuum, the more area I covered.
It is quite lightweight (in my opinion) and can be easily maneuvered in all directions. It is powerful and can easily pick up debris, I tested it with rice and lentils, so I think it can be comfortably used for floor cleaning. It cannot easily climb on carpets with medium pile (due to the sole) and I do not believe it can achieve deep carpet cleaning. Personally, I do not use it for carpet cleaning. The dustbin is very easy to clean and the vacuum's self-cleaning does a pretty good job of keeping the brush clean. The length of the sole is 28 centimeters, so you can calculate if it fits in certain areas of your home.
The biggest negative in my opinion is that it cannot mop close to walls or furniture. It leaves at least 3-4 centimeters from the edge of the wall, so it cannot fully replace a mop. Occasionally, you will have to go over the perimeter of the walls with a wet mop. The second negative is that if the house has not been vacuumed for a few days, and you start mopping, at some point some of the dirt that does not end up in the dustbin the vacuum throws back on the floor. There is a small metal blade to remove threads and hair from the brush, which is not well designed and collects a lot of dirt on the top. At some point, the brush returns them back to the floor, so you may need to clean it with a cloth in between uses, depending on the size of your home.
An experiment I did was with a coffee stain and some ketchup stains, which I let dry for 24 hours. I sprayed water on the stains, left it for a few seconds, then sprayed water again and passed over them. The coffee disappeared with the first pass and for the ketchup, I did 4-5 passes, but it cleaned the floor completely. The experiment was done at high speed, so I consider that overall it does about 85% of the work that a regular mop would do. I have noticed that some dirt that is well stuck to the floor, it cannot remove, but in my opinion, this is a minor drawback.
I have been using it for a month now and I have not touched a mop in my hands, only for the reason I described above. I use it day after day for floor sweeping - mopping, and my floors are really clean without much effort. You need to dedicate some time for cleaning it, get used to its handling, as the rotating brush tends to move forward and then you need muscle power to bring it back, but once you learn how to handle it and the fact that you add a little water to it and effortlessly have a clean floor at any time, I think it makes it the perfect gift for everyone.

Universal Laptop Charger 120W 24V 5A with Detachable Power Cord and Plug Set
at 2022-02-05I bought it for a soldering iron at 24V and 65W and it managed to power it without any problem, without raising the temperature and without any strange noise or buzzing during operation. The length of the cable is one meter for the power cable and one meter for the low voltage cable. I expected it to be more sturdy for its purchase price (12 euros) and it took some effort to plug in the power cable plug into the power supply, it generally seems to not plug in easily giving a sense of poor quality. It has many different voltages (12 - 15 - 16 - 18 - 19 - 20 and 24V) and comes with a set of adapters for powering different devices. Quite satisfied with its use for which I bought it, but I wouldn't choose it to power my laptop, I would go for something more expensive and reputable. Also, although it says it's 120W, the power supply box states that at 24V it provides 4A max = 96W, for those who need to exceed 100W.

Aqara Smart Water Sensor (Xiaomi Ecosystem Product) Flood Sensor Battery in White Color DEC0030
at 2021-10-02I had bought 4 sensors for 12 to 13 euros (offer price from a foreign store) about 4 years ago. The build quality is excellent, there has been no alteration all this time, their size is quite small and discreet, and I find it very convenient that the top part is made of flexible plastic, which, when pressed for a few seconds, enters pairing mode with the Hub, making the sensor connection a breeze. In all these years, I replaced the battery once a year ago, so I consider the battery life to be more than sufficient, definitely more than the one year claimed by the company. The device itself cannot do anything, it is Zigbee technology, and you will definitely need a Hub to connect it to your mobile phone. If you have the round Aqara Hub, with LED lighting and a speaker, you can set it to give you a visual or audible signal when it detects water leakage. Of course, you will also receive notifications on your mobile phone when you are away from home. The best option would be to have a shut-off valve in the main water supply, so that in case the water supply needs to be interrupted, because notifications are good, but when you are away from home, things get more difficult no matter how quickly they arrive. This could possibly be achieved with an Aqara switch, like the Aqara T1 Smart, but since I haven't tried it myself, I would suggest contacting the company for more information. Finally, I would like to mention that the Aqara Hub does not have the best range, especially when there is a structural element like concrete in between, and it should be placed in a central location for the best coverage. I consider 25 euros to be a bit pricey, around 17 to 19 euros would be a more "value for money" option, but on the other hand, a potential property damage might make the purchase worth it.
For those who have dealt with "Smart Home programming", I would like to add a couple of things. I used several Aqara sensors through Node-Red and a Raspberry Pi to communicate with a smart home system that I have. The Hub I had was the Chinese version, there was no European server connection available at that time, and I had connected it to the Xiaomi Mi Home app. There was a hidden menu in the app that showed the ID of each sensor and everything worked perfectly. Recently, I wanted to connect some additional sensors, but this menu was no longer available. In a communication I had with Aqara, they referred me to Xiaomi, and Xiaomi told me that they would look into it, but after months passed, I decided to delete the Mi Home app, reset the Hub to factory settings, and then connect it to the Aqara app, hoping to find a solution to my problem. The Hub, although the app detects it, does not connect to my Wi-Fi, and I got frustrated after spending many hours trying to find a solution, which led me to purchase the Conbee 2, which recognized all my sensors and seems to have better coverage than the Aqara Hub. Of course, I cannot yet give an opinion on its stability, as I have only been using it for 10 days, I just mention it for all those who have been more involved in the "Smart Home" and the integration of various technologies and companies.

Meaco Fan 1056P Pedestal Fan 23W Diameter 40cm with Remote Control
at 2021-07-06The fan has a diameter of 25cm, not 40cm as stated in the description, and its speeds are 12 and not 3. For its 25cm size, I would say that its performance is somewhere between the second and third speed of a cheap 40cm fan, which is quite impressive. Up to the seventh speed, the noise is quite low, but from there it starts to increase. Anyway, it is the quietest one I have had in the last few years. The build quality is very good, but it does not justify its high price, and it has some additional features worth mentioning. Besides the horizontal rotation, it also has a vertical movement, a timer for stopping and starting operation from 1 to 12 hours, four modes, and a remote control.
On the negative side, its very high price, even at the price of 145 euros at which I received it. The length of the cord is 1m; they could have added a few more centimeters. The display for the settings is at the base of the fan, so if it is not positioned in the right spot, it will not be easy to see what is displayed. Finally, its height reaches 90cm at the maximum setting, so it needs a specific position where it should be placed; there should not be various tall objects in front of it.
For me, who has an issue with space arrangement and has used tower fans for many years, I would say that it has suited me quite well because it is quite compact and has good performance, but I would prefer it to be a bit stronger. So far, with the temperature ranging from 32 to 35 degrees, it is the main fan I use, but during heatwaves, it will not manage on its own. I would not recommend it to someone who needs a strong fan to cover a large space. I would say it is more suitable for the bedroom or for someone who wants a fan next to their desk. In all of the above, I must emphasize the subjectivity regarding noise and each person's relationship with heat.
Edit 10/06/22
I am making a small edit to clarify something. Ultimately, I think that in terms of performance, this particular fan can easily be compared to the corresponding 40cm fans, which, as I emphasized in my initial review, is quite impressive. However, as another user pointed out and I also realized, due to the smaller diameter, the air stream is narrower. This gives me the impression during heatwaves that it cannot "fill" a large space (e.g., a quite large living room), which is why I wrote that I do not recommend it to someone who needs a strong fan. If it were priced at 100 to 120 euros, I would give it 5 stars and easily recommend it to anyone. At 150 to 170 euros, which it appears at, I will stick to my initial rating and review.- Relatively quiet
