Appearance > effectiveness. Purchase as a replacement for the same model that broke after 4 years and mainly to match with the other utensils of the same brand, not because it had impressed me with its performance.
You pay only for the design of the device and very expensive indeed. The construction materials are unacceptable. The metallic parts of the kettle rust from the first uses, even though it hasn't accumulated much salt.
The glue under it opened over time, causing it to leak water.
The handle melted the plastic and sticks, it can't be held.
Salt filled up immediately despite the filter we have. Other devices don't even show any salt.
Very beautiful like the whole series, but not worth it.
The build quality is poor.
After 3 years, it stopped working. 9 out of 10 times it doesn't turn on, 1 out of 10 times it does. I don't know if the switch is the problem. However, it looks nice and next to the toaster, it beautifies the kitchen
It easily dents on the side and leaks from the base when you turn it to pour the content. Also, you have to completely turn it upside down for all the content inside to come out, which is inconvenient. Its construction does not appear sturdy in any case. It is simply beautiful.
From a design perspective, it is very beautiful, especially if you combine it with other devices from the same series. I have had it for 3 years.
Negatives:
Boiling time - It takes longer compared to other kettles noticeably.
Noise - It makes quite a bit of noise from the moment it starts heating up. You notice it a lot at night when it's quiet.
Risk of burning - at the end of the water when you turn it upside down, if the lid comes off, the steam burns your hand because it is right underneath it.
It hasn't caught any limescale, but I occasionally add some vinegar
The kettle is a gem, firstly for the kitchen, secondly it does its job perfectly. I have had it for a little while now and I know it works great for salts, otherwise it works superbly
Truly beautiful design, I have also bought the toaster!
Personally, I have had faster kettles, it doesn't easily catch salts, but it's good to put vinegar every 2-3 months and everything comes off. It definitely burns and is very dangerous. Yes, the lid has tested my faith because I struggle to remove it and sometimes it comes off in two pieces because the small screw that holds them together gets dislodged, and this has happened since the first time I removed the lid, so most of the time I fill it from the spout to avoid getting burned and not to break the lid. Mainly beauty for me.
Very satisfied with its performance and design! 4 stars because due to its metallic construction, it requires special attention when containing boiling water, so as not to touch the metallic elements. Also, when opening the lid, which is done only by hand, if you are not fast enough, you can easily get burned by the steam.
Very beautiful design, I am very satisfied overall. It is a bit expensive but I wouldn't change it.
As negatives, I would say that it is not very convenient at the water spout where you have to completely turn the kettle to achieve the correct tilt, which can also cause burns from the steam.
Also, the lid goes on and off as a whole, but it doesn't have a perfect fit. Sometimes it is difficult for me to open, especially when the device is still hot.
When you go to refill water when it is still hot from previous boiling, it is inevitable to get burned in the first few seconds, as the handle and therefore your hand are above the point where the water fills and the steam escapes.
Wonderful design obviously, but unfortunately the material on the outside burns when the water boils and requires caution! Also, the front spout that runs the water is round with a large diameter, causing the water to fall abruptly, which is dangerous for burns if it splashes. When there is a little water left to empty the kettle, you have to turn it completely to make it run due to its tilt. Finally, it is quite heavy and inconvenient without water.
Update after use: It rusted internally at the edge!
Update 2: It leaks water from the water level indicator outwards. Extremely dangerous.
For a kettle, we know that it is expensive. However, the consumption and the style that we want to give to the kitchen were worth the purchase. We are quite satisfied.
We fill it with water from a filter and it hasn't collected any salts for 3 years.
Update 4 years later: In the end, the kettle is leaking water from the bottom and it is quite dangerous. There doesn't seem to be any damage causing this leakage. It cannot be repaired.
