The Samsung monitor is ideal for those looking for a versatile curved screen with an elegant and slim design. It is suitable for everyday use but also for smooth gaming, so you can enjoy every moment.
The deepest screen curve for the most deeply immersive viewing experience
Wrapping around your field of vision like your local iMax theatre screen, the 1800R screen — with its 1.8m radius of arc for greater curvature — creates a wider field of view and enhances depth perception. The screen’s curve will fully immerse you in all your content.
1800R
1800R screen and Eye Saver Mode for increased viewing comfort
• The deeper 1800R screen curvature allows your eyes to track smoothly. In clinical tests this reduced eye strain when compared to viewing a flat screen. • Eye Saver Mode reduces eye strain, providing a comfortable viewing experience. • Flicker Free technology minimises distracting screen flicker.
Superior image quality with Samsung’s advanced display technology
• Samsung’s Active Crystal Colour technology supports a wider range of colors than its standard monitors for richer, more vibrant colours and vivid picture quality. • Samsung’s advanced VA panel technology and 3000:1 contrast ratio deliver deeper blacks and brilliant whites.
Flawlessly smooth gameplay with AMD FreeSync
• AMD FreeSync: By dynamically syncing screen refresh rate with image frame rate, AMD FreeSync minimises stutter and ensures flawlessly smooth gameplay • Game Mode: Game mode instantly optimises screen colours and contrast for gaming to ensure you enjoy every scene at its best
Incredibly slim profile and stylish curved design
• Super slim curved panel: With an astonishingly slim 11.9mm profile — as slender as a ballpoint pen — the solid curved panel is more than half as slim as previous curved-screen models • Simple circular stand: a simple circular stand elegantly complements the slender curved panel
Samsung eco-saving
reduces energy consumption and environmental impact
• Energy-saving auto brightness setting: Samsung’s eco-saving technology adjusts display brightness to reduce energy consumption by up to 10%* • Dual manual brightness settings: Screen brightness can also be set manually to 25% or 50% of maximum * Based on internal testing

I got it for the office and I have a 24-inch plus a 40-inch TV on the wall. I will compare it to those and not to the two 32'' 1440p 144hz monitors I have on my main PC. The monitor for office work (I am about 55-60 inches away from it) is a bit tiring. The pixels in the letters are visible to the same extent as they are on the 40-inch TV (also 1080P). So far, it is quite good for its Hz in videos, and the colors in the image are okay with a lot of calibration. Overall, it has a comfortable viewing experience, with no dead pixels or bleed. Also, the curvature is small and not tiring. I am quite satisfied since I knew what I was getting (budget-friendly) and what I needed it for, but it's a three-star monitor since I miss that smooth text from my inferior 24-inch from 2008 (Well, okay, fewer inches and a resolution of 1920x1200, so it's logical). If we consider the budget, definitely 4 stars. But I give it 3 stars since I consider it utopian for this monitor to be almost 5-star based on user reviews who have never seen a relatively good monitor in their lives :-)
Conclusion: Do you have 120€ and need a monitor? Don't the 24-inch ones work for you? Get it. If you are okay with 24 inches, look for something better at the same price.
The curvature is parabolic and not cylindrical, which is bad. (more curved in the middle and less at the edges)
1 dead pixel from day 1 and 1 more later.
VERY light bleeding in a dark image from the 4 corners (approximately) of the screen.
Very few three-dimensional applications (games) support cylindrical projection, so its geometry is controversial.
It doesn't turn off with the computer and I have to press the "button" behind the screen every time, click-down-click, annoying. Otherwise, it stays on all night.
Very good screen for 110€ but if you want to mount it on a wall, look for another one. It is possible if you want, but you have to open it in half to remove the base. Unacceptable from Samsung
The screen is perfect, the only negative thing about it is that if you have it on its base, you can't adjust it, it stays fixed in one position (it doesn't go up - down)
It is very good with nice colors and comfortable. It has only one small issue. Depending on the screen color, it makes a buzzing sound. I have chosen a specific desktop wallpaper that doesn't make any noise.
It is a very good screen for gaming, affordable, with nice image and good response time. You can increase the Hz from 60 to 73 without damaging it... The only downside is that the base is huge (round) and takes up a lot of space on the desk, and also does not hold the screen well, which moves with big movements, so I would suggest changing the base if you have a small desk...
I have it for about 6 months, I am very satisfied with the value for money. It is perfect for everything I do since I am not a hardcore gamer nor do I need high resolution.
For the money, it is very satisfactory, and the curvature adds to the image. It could have better blacks, but still, it is quite economical for its category.
I use it as a second (on the right in the photo) and I consider it quite honest for its price! Good viewing angles, good colors, fast enough & user-friendly menu.
As for the negatives, I will mention that it does not have adjustable height like the rest of this price range, but the problem was solved with a wall mount!
I highly recommend it after 4 months of use.
Unbelievable screen, very comfortable, easy menu. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't have USB ports, but I knew that from the beginning. I have it for work, and I'm thinking of getting a second one!
I have had the screen for two months. From the reviews here, I expected to connect it and be amazed. Curved screens may need to be in larger inches for me. Personally, it doesn't suit my eye. At first, it tired me out quite a bit. I calibrated it with various tools I found and the image improved significantly. However, the substantial improvement that made it truly comfortable came when I reduced the blue below 40. The low blacks function is very nice, but it tires me after a while. What can I say, maybe I am a bit more sensitive to the eyes than the average user. The 72hz only activate on AMD cards as the display port is missing for Nvidia. In general, it is a decent monitor that I believe clearly deserves its money, but not in the way it is praised in the comments. I am not a hardcore gamer, but if I could go back in time, I would get something better even with my 1050ti, as a good monitor is an investment. Now I believe that a serious amount should be allocated to the monitor in the overall build. However, even if someone chooses it, I don't think they will make a mistake. They will be able to play their games and enjoy the screen just fine for movies or office work. For me, though, it will definitely be replaced in the future with more hz and resolution with the appropriate card.
What can one say about this screen, really.
I bought 3 of them, one 27" and two 24", for my nephews and they have enjoyed them. The 27" is also used for light gaming by the older one. Very nice screens with good viewing angles and for their price, I believe they are the best, if you're not looking for a gaming screen.
Two years of continuous use as a second monitor on my computer and I have absolutely no problems. No burnt pixels or anything else. The only issue is the same as all curved monitors, it loses visibility at an angle, but it's not a TV... Who views their computer at an angle?... Great value for money.
Personally, I loved it! I'm not much of a gamer anymore, so 60hz is more than enough for my needs. It's a very beautiful screen, it doesn't go unnoticed. The colors are very nice and the image is vibrant, especially with the gaming mode (like HDR). For years now, Samsung has never disappointed me with any of my devices (screen, phone, headphones, TV)
The five-star rating corresponds to the value and expectations one may have from it. For its price, it is a very decent 1080p monitor with a curved display, making it user-friendly for the main user but not ideal for side viewing. I would prefer a second HDMI input. It does not have built-in speakers, but it has an audio output jack to connect speakers. Its built-in stand is quite stable, but there is always the option for an extra VESA mount. In conclusion, it is not a perfect monitor, but it is perhaps the best in this price range, even if we consider options for used monitors at this price
I bought the screen 4-5 months ago and it is very good in everything, just from the day I plugged it into my PC it made a slight buzzing noise when I set the brightness to 100%, but anyway I set it to 50% and it's perfect!!!!!!!!!
Overall, it is a good monitor for its price, very nice but when it displays specific colors it emits an electronic sound which is somewhat annoying, to tell the truth, and it doesn't stop until it shows other colors. The fact that the screen makes sounds is enough for me not to recommend it to someone. However, it is a beautiful monitor for 110 euros
For the money, it's an excellent choice. Nice colors, the eye saver mode is relaxing. Good viewing angles and the perfect size for someone who has their office at home. The only issue is that if you don't want to use its stand, a part of the back will stick out. Other than that, for the money, I would like an additional HDMI.
I give it 4 stars just because I have an amazing AOC next to it. Nevertheless, it is quite good and has good colors. It is a decent VA monitor for someone who uses it for basic tasks and does not have high demands from this specific monitor.
Good screen for the money, I expected it not to suit me, etc., but in the end I was wrong.
Very good choice for simple use or gaming up to 60hz (60fps)
I have had the screen for about a month now. I will start by saying that the Eye Saver Mode is AWESOME, it makes long hours of online learning very easy on the eyes, it is one of my favorite features on this monitor. As for color accuracy, it needs a little calibration and it is somewhat necessary if you plan on doing photo/video editing. The stand, if you plan on removing it to use a monitor arm, can be a bit tricky, just so you know. The curve makes the experience much more immersive. The tilting is very good, and I recommend adjusting it to the appropriate angle. For 115 euros, it is definitely worth the money!
One of the best purchases I have ever made. It is full value for money, very convenient for many hours of work and has not shown any issues. The connectivity is very stable and it has a very good resolution. The brightness settings are very useful. The only negative is that it does not include speakers, but it does not greatly affect its use.
It is very good, I have had it for a week and it has not presented any problems so far. I will come back with more things soon (edit 21/4/2021). It is perfect, I have nothing to say, good image, brightness, etc. Also, it is very big, even the 24" would be good for me! The only "negative" is that it doesn't stand well with this stand, but I believe that with a wall mount it will be well supported. It is value for money!
I did it 2 days ago and I don't have any extra experience. I overclocked it to 73hz and everything is going perfectly for such money, you won't find anything better, it's worth it and more
I have had this monitor for about 3 months.
So far, it has not presented any problems and I use it for several hours a day.
It is very worth it for its price.
Fantastic screen for the money. Its positives have been mentioned in other comments and I agree.
One negative: It is very difficult to remove the neck stand if you want to put it on a wall mount or a desk arm. You have to completely remove the back cover and reattach it.
Otherwise, as mentioned before, it is value for money!
