Description

Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / TIG from the manufacturer Imperia, where inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. While the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It has an output current of up to 200A which melts thicker wires more easily and creates thick welds with fewer passes. Its weight reaches 6.2kg.

For amateur use I have it. It is good. The Imperia machines sold by UNIMAC are a version of the Chinese company jasictech (model TIG200P W212 - Put it on Google to see it). In China it is considered quite reliable. Equivalent to European welders

In how little time should the board burn and I can't find a solution for repair!! The dial doesn't work and all the functions are blocked. I need it but I will buy another brand of machine because I didn't enjoy it!!! I can't find a representative to tell me if it's worth repairing. I have the 200 ampere version, is it working!!

This review is about the welding current (max): 180 A

I have had it since 2015, I have not used it very much but enough. At some point, I needed to use it for 2 hours with an electrode, it worked perfectly, finished the job, and the next day I went to weld inox tig and it started doing crazy things. The gas valve wouldn't close, it wouldn't start, it would start and wouldn't stop, the indicator lights were going off randomly. I took it to the dealership and they told me it was a control panel issue that would cost 150€ to fix. We swallowed the bitter pill, but they fixed it quickly and it has been working fine until today, but only for tig welding from now on.

After 3 years of occasional use, the gas valve broke down on me.... It doesn't close automatically..... Other than that, it's a very good machine.... Quality adhesive
