This lock is difficult to use and you can't insert the key into the hole easily.

The lock is slim, but it's okay if you choose it to fit in small motorcycles with their disc brakes.

Pirous is thin and weak, the key is simplistic. It does not inspire confidence. The key does not function smoothly and needed lubrication, but the improvement was minimal. I probably wasted my money, as a first impression.

Guys, stay away from this specific model! I bought it two months ago for 80 € and this morning the key broke inside the lock, rendering it useless!

For now, it's flawless. It has moderate intensity but sounds satisfactory in the garage. Neither the belt nor the battery has given me any problems in 1 year of use. I will come back.

Purchased in 2018 on 31/5. The alarm turned out to be problematic, as it keeps hitting and I even changed the battery but nothing. Now, for the second time, the latch is stuck and won't go down to lock. Also, it's difficult to lock with the genuine disc plate from Transalp. Not satisfied at all... I don't recommend it at all.

Update... 06/02/2021 In September 2020, the alarm completely stopped working. I opened it to check and the moving contact that closes the circuit to arm the alarm is stuck. No matter what I tried to make it move again, it's useless. Luckily, the latch has been working satisfactorily for half a year now. I only use it as a secondary lock at night.

Update... October 2021, the latch also gave up... No more secondary lock!

Owner of the lock for 3 months, at first the key did not fit easily, with a little w40 it improved. After two months, the alarm did not work, even after changing the battery. My key seems very fake, it is sturdy like a lock but for the 59€ I paid for it, it is definitely not worth it. It is definitely worth much less!

Medium siren intensity with the main problem being its low trigger sensitivity. The horn broke within 3 months of purchase (it sounded hoarse) and it was replaced with great difficulty through the importer because it was a gift from the motorcycle purchase. Now, after 3 years of minimal use, it has broken again and does not arm. I hope it's just the battery

I had given it 4 stars, now I'm lowering it to 1 because after two years and some months, it got stuck with the key inside, the key doesn't come out, it doesn't lock... luckily it happened when I was trying to lock it and not unlock it... I had mentioned that the lock is bad, but now it simply died...

Also, I visited the dealership and it cannot be repaired... if I could give it 0 stars, I would... for Abus, this specific lock is a disgrace...
