  This is the first time I used kinesiology tape. The choice was made due to the many positive reviews, but as you can understand, there is no comparison for me to know if it is good or not. Personally, I think it works for me, providing quite a bit of support at the point where I placed it (neck). HOWEVER!!! It causes itching at the edges of the adhesive, like an allergy or perhaps some reaction with my skin, and during removal, it takes off skin as well, resulting in wounds that take several days to heal. I would upload pictures, but I don't know if it's allowed. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong; I've tried baby oil, which I read helps with removal, but I didn't see any difference. It doesn't come off during bathing (which is a positive), but let's say that on the second day, it loses quite a bit of the support it provides, around 25-30%. So while it is positive that it doesn't come off during bathing, it definitely reduces the effectiveness of the tape significantly. It may not be suitable for such a sensitive area like around the neck where the skin is thinner.

  I have tried other kinesiology tapes. I bought this particular one in beige and pink shades based on positive reviews. However, I can't say that I am satisfied. As a product, when properly applied, it does what it's supposed to do, supporting the muscles. However, it easily peels off at the edges, even after rounding and frays. Although it states on the packaging that it can be worn all day, every day on my own skin, the adhesive causes itching and irritation. I suspect that the situation worsens due to the season (summer) and high temperatures, maybe I will feel it differently on my skin during winter. The rule of these products is that the tape's adhesive is enhanced by body heat and friction, so perhaps the itching and irritation are caused by the overall increased temperature.
