I had bought a larger one before. It has served me incredibly well for its size and power. Very good quality!
So far I am very satisfied with its use! It has a very long cord and basic speeds (medium-strong). I expected it to be a little more powerful compared to an old one I had with the same wattage. On the negative side, the fact that the nozzle is not included at this price, only two similar attachments for drying-straightening.
Hey guys, I got this to replace a hairdryer (the 3000, 1810w) .. and even though it's 2200w, the old one is much more powerful and the air is hotter. What's going on?
On the positive side, it's lighter. kind of like a toy. . and the plastic is just as good as the classic old one.
If you want power and hot air, forget about it
I have had the hairdryer for 6 years and the only thing I have to say is that it is perfect. I have been straightening my hair with a brush and a hairdryer for 20 years, so I have the experience to evaluate a product in its category. It is lightweight, does not burn the hair, never overheats, and has endured some falls! Now, for those who say it is not worth it... there are cheaper options on the market with more watts that will surely burn your hair and make your hand tired! It is not a coincidence that most hair salons use this particular one.
After 10 years it burned and of course I am looking to buy the same one, not only is it amazing, it is lightweight, dries hair quickly, it's worth the money... a very good choice
I have long, frizzy hair. In humidity, it frizzes immediately. I bought this hairdryer to straighten them out after reading positive reviews. It's not worth its money, the air is not hot enough to straighten them. After a while, they become frizzy again. It's a shame that we wasted our money.
The tool is very bad, it broke in 2 months. It melted after 10 minutes of daily use. Be careful, children
My mother has it in white for 6 years! As soon as my hair dryer broke, it was obviously my first and only choice! Small, lightweight, very powerful, and fantastic!!
After 2 and a half years of daily use, I finally found a hairdryer that I can't live without. It dries thick, dense hair quickly and straightens it in 15 minutes. For someone who wants to achieve satisfactory straightening and have a decent look but doesn't have much time to spend, I would highly recommend it. I would have liked it to come with the attachment for curls, but that is sold separately. The length of the cord is satisfactory, the noise level is moderate, but I don't know of any less noisy options.
I was expecting something better! You can find the same features and capabilities at a lower price! Time will tell. I have had it for 6 months
I have used many hair dryers.. These are definitely the best.
It straightens my hair in half the time and leaves it soft and lightweight as if I had it done at the salon
My daughter and I have very long hair and we hate using the hairdryer (like a sport), so I searched and found this one that would take the least amount of time from our lives, and I can confirm that we really do dry our hair in one third of the time.
It has a long enough cord for me to chase her in the other room, it is lightweight even for children's hands (when she uses it by herself). It has as many settings as needed for a hairdryer (you're not launching a rocket) and it covered all our accessories needs.
In terms of cost, considering that every two years we would buy a new supposedly cheaper one (30€ X 7 purchases in 14 years = 210€), if this one lasts for fifteen years, which is its expected lifespan (in salon conditions - not even for family use), then it is definitely the cheapest solution for us!
"And even if I were to sell it, I would still buy this one."
I recommend this brand. It is the 2nd hairdryer that I have purchased, after my previous one broke after 15 years of daily use!
It is lightweight, incredibly powerful for someone who has never handled a professional hairdryer before, and dries hair much faster than my previous hairdryer. I have a lot of hair and it saved me a lot of time, I am very satisfied. The only negative is the button. I haven't gotten used to it yet, I have to look to open and close it. I don't find it as easy as the previous one that had one button, this one has two identical ones with two settings and it doesn't open and close blindly, at least not yet because I have only used it a few times.
Very fast drying. Even at medium temperature, it dries the hair quickly without any frizz.
I would like it to have a little more power on high speed
Investment for me for amateur use - the air is lukewarm but dries without burning the hair! It was recommended to me by a professional and it turned out to be a star!
I have curly, thick hair. It is very powerful and I have the ability to dry/style it quickly and easily. The only negative is that it does not have a diffuser, which you have to buy separately.
Well, it's good, it doesn't freeze, it doesn't get tangled, BUT the 200g that they claim it weighs is a lie! It weighs 550 something. Unacceptable, especially when you can get a Valera that weighs the same and is far better quality for the same price. As for the plastic casing and buttons, they are low quality, like a cheap children's toy. It's a shame for the money I spent because it looks terrible, but at least it does a good job. That's it!
I recommend it 1000%. I have been using professional hair dryers for many years for household use. Parlux is the best of all. In terms of technology, weight, heat, designs
I didn't buy it to straighten my hair but to dry my curls. It does this with absolute success and without frizzing at all. It is small and lightweight and doesn't tire my hand
The good thing about it is that it is lightweight and has a long cord. The negatives are that it lacks power, gets too hot, and makes a penetrating annoying noise. I would not recommend it to a professional. I have bought a professional hairdryer for 18 euros from Scroutz, which is far superior.
This hairdryer does not have hot air, it only has warm air. As a result, if you don't have straight hair, it is useless. The temperature it produces is not enough to straighten hair. It's a waste of money.
This specific model of parlux has nothing to do with the others. The hair frizzes after a short time. It's like it doesn't have enough heat. Because I am a hairdresser and I have used several professional hair dryers, STAY AWAY!!! It's not worth its money. A thousand times the 385 light model. My friend who owns a salon fell for it too. She bought it and couldn't style the hair the way she wanted, she told me the exact same thing.
I bought it as a gift for my daughter, it dries long hair in an incredible amount of time, and its cord is quite long. I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a good and powerful tool at the best price
Amateur use.
First time straightening my hair. The hairdryer is clearly effective. Strong and fast results!
Quite expensive though.
I have it here for 9 months and I use it constantly. It is very powerful and lightweight, it remains cool on the surface, and most importantly, hair drying is done much faster and with almost no frizz. In fact, with a diffuser (a separate attachment for 25€), my hair becomes perfect curls in 15 minutes without any frizz, something that until recently I thought I could only achieve with a swim in the sea and drying in the sun!
Excellent hairdryer!!! Extremely professional and it's no coincidence that most hair salons work with Parlux for styling their clients. I am completely satisfied!!!
I bought the hairdryer here 2 weeks ago based on its high rating and the comments I have read. In summary, I agree with the positives (relatively lightweight, strong airflow, etc.), but I will focus on the poor quality of the materials that has not been mentioned so far. Since I bought it, the plastic has had an unpleasant smell. I constantly have it in the yard, but it doesn't go away at all. When I use it with the windows open, the smell transfers to my hair. It is likely that these volatile compounds are dangerous and carcinogenic, especially if you use it for many hours and/or in a closed space. For so much money, I expected better quality materials. As for the negatives, it should be taken into account for left-handed people that the buttons are not in the center
Professional level hair dryer. One of the most useful devices I have purchased for my wife. She has loved it.
Little noise, relatively lightweight, beautiful. When straightening the hair, it still comes out frizzy and brittle. Obviously, I must be doing something wrong, so I think even with half the price, I would have the same result for amateur use. It is quite expensive and the hairdryer is extra.
