I have had it for about 2 years, the pitcher is very good, the blades blend everything perfectly, but with frequent and heavy use, about half of the plastic teeth on the bottom part of the pitcher broke over time. However, it continued to work just as well. Recently, a small plastic component in the electrical part of the device broke, which was responsible for connecting the pitcher and spinning the blades. So it became useless. I took it to a shop to see if it's worth repairing because otherwise, I am satisfied.
The blender is amazing. I have had it for almost 3 years, using it almost every day, and I am very satisfied. It doesn't get stuck, it doesn't heat up, nothing. I use it for green smoothies with fruits, and within 2 minutes it chops everything up perfectly, even on the second to last setting. The pitcher is quite heavy and large, requires careful washing, and overall it makes quite a bit of noise. The price is very good for its capabilities, I would buy it again with my eyes closed, Braun provides a warranty.
It would have been fine in all aspects, but suddenly after three months of use, after half a minute of operation and with approximately 350 ml of juice and another 400 ml of seasonal fruits cut according to the manufacturer's instructions, it started to smell. Obviously, something has not been "designed" correctly or some capacitor or I don't know what else, was defective. And from what I read above, another owner experienced the same thing. What is strange is the instructions that state a specific function that may take up to 3 minutes to work. If a problem occurred within the first minute, when I achieved the desired result, it would have exploded within the first week if I had used it for 2-3 minutes. I dealt with it as follows: I start the blender and let it work for 15'' just to puree the ingredients. I leave it for about 1 minute and then start it again, leaving it as long as necessary until the result is desired. This way, it extended its lifespan and usage. It has already lasted for a year. However, I would not recommend it. We are talking about a maximum of 1000ml with maybe half or even more in liquid form, and yet it struggles. Okay, its price was not high, like that incomprehensible Kenwood Kmix, but there is no shortage of money for experimentation. In the end, it was too good to be true. :-(
I have had these useless machines for 15 days and both gears broke. I have been trying to find a solution by calling even the central office, but the response is that they do not have spare parts and that the warranty covers nothing... Stay away from this product
I have been using it for about 6 months exclusively for baby food. I blend meat, vegetables, and fruits, and so far it works great. I have struggled a few times with blending boiled vegetables with meat, about 600 to 700 grams. Only once did it smell burnt, but luckily nothing happened. Generally, it should not be used for more than a minute continuously. It is easy to clean and has a heavy glass jar. For now, I am satisfied.
I do everything with this. Very convenient, it cuts everything very quickly and then everything is removed with hot water. Perfect for frozen smoothies!
I have only used it for one summer so far. I tried making a smoothie a week ago and the tooth under the jug broke, it doesn't seem sturdy overall. It also emits a burnt smell after about 40 seconds of operation. It's better to choose a professional one if you want to put it to the test. I have a 20-year-old Braun and it's still as powerful as new. They don't make them like they used to
A decent suggestion for a blender. I use it to make juices/smoothies.
It has many power levels, although the first ones are quite strong enough to blend everything.
The jug is quite large.
It is easy to use, except for placing/removing the lid, which has a rubber seal and requires strength and a little persistence to seal properly. The lid also has a rotating/removable inner lid from which we can add ingredients, although I have never needed to use it.
The jug and overall the blender are quite heavy. It disassembles easily for cleaning, but it requires a lot of attention (firm grip on the handle) because it is made of glass. For cleaning the blades underneath, I also use a small brush because water is not enough if something is stuck.
It makes quite a bit of noise.
I consider the price reasonable.
Overall, I would recommend it.
After one year, it works smoothly like new.
