It is unbeatable, we have used it extensively for cutting and grinding, today alone we have been cutting for 5 consecutive hours. The only interruption was to change the disc.
It is purely for household use and nothing else! In one day, I burned three of them! It is truly unsuitable for professionals!
This is a very well-made tool. Although I am an amateur, I have been using it for six years and I would say very hard. I cut solid iron sheets with a thickness of 8 and 10 millimeters, hollow sections, and bent parts, and besides the fact that the head gets a little warm, I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I have never had any problems with switches, brushes, or disc loosening. I would really say that this is a tool for everyday and professional use. The only difference with the GA 5030 is in the smaller guard. Otherwise, it is the same wheel. Changing the grease on the head occasionally and cleaning it with compressed air will keep the tool in new condition.
Very good piece for amateur use that I work with, very good turns and worth its money. Overall, I use it for sanding and polishing and it's okay.
I've had it for about a year and in whatever tasks I used it, it was exceptional.
It would be better if it had speed adjustment.
Stay away from this, it is not suitable for professional use and prolonged operation.....if you push it a little for three to four hours a day, after a few days it will fall apart in your hands (it burns).....charcoal every now and then, we have 7 of them at work and three are already off, soon the fourth one will also stop working (currently it is underperforming)....not to mention that it is also weak (this specific model), it's not even worth it for home use....with less money you can get a better tool like the Stanley with 850 watts!
From the first use, the screw loosens and throws away the disc. (It has been tested with several discs from different companies) An accident was almost caused. Its plastics are of good quality, its weight is moderate
First, it is professional with the price of an amateur.
Second, it has almost the longest warranty, 3 years.
Third, it is Makita.
Very good product, one of the best tools I have worked with and have been using for years
