    It was among the 4 foods my veterinarian recommended for my cat. Due to the label and name, it was my first choice to buy it... until I read the ingredients!!! Wheat gluten, corn gluten, the KITTEN also contains cornmeal... I mean, I have never seen such Red Flag ingredients. 10 times better choice is VIRBAC and BRIT with GRAIN FREE formulations that suit a cat's natural diet better.

    This food replaced my cat's regular food because he had issues with diarrhea. And even though my cat is super picky and curious about food, he ate it easily and really likes it. Combined with a wet Gastrointestinal food from another brand (because he didn't go crazy for the Royal wet Gastrointestinal), I saw a difference in the diarrhea in almost a week. The price is not exactly good, but considering that it is of pharmaceutical grade and serves a purpose, and since I imagine I will only give it for a short while, maybe 1-2 months, we're okay. But if you have to give it forever, then it might be a bit expensive.

    We have two well-behaved and stubborn cats at the point of exasperation. One is a) huge - 8 kilograms - 1 1/2 years old b) grumpy and greedy c) with diarrhea. The other one is selective. When we say we have tried EVERYTHING, we mean everything. Even a trial with all the Orijen foods. And they preferred junk food from Lidl or Gourmet Gold. Even the Royal Sterilized 37 was only eaten by the selective one. The other one ate nothing.

    Within less than ten days, we are making a repeat purchase. They eat it with great pleasure. Besides diarrhea, it also claims to be suitable for anorexia. It really has a very good smell... and taste.
