26/8/22: Guys, I bought 3 Samsung batteries with 2500mAh each, and they are not fake. All of them received the correct 2500mAh and work perfectly!
30/8/22 update: I bought another 3 of the same batteries, and they were authentic again. They received the correct 2500mAh on the liitoKala charger.
19/11/22 update: I have put 3 in my JBL Charge 3 portable speaker, and instead of 6000mAh, I put in 7500mAh batteries. They need to play for 7+ hours at maximum volume to run out, no issues.

Initially, I did not measure each one separately, as I put them all together in a solar panel that outputs 12 or 5V. The truth is that there is a sticker next to the printed information and a small paper sticker that is supposed to have the characteristics of each battery and packaged in a cardboard box, also with a paper sticker. Eventually, I had to measure them because as soon as it got dark, the camera stopped working.... So, after a full charge, 6 out of 8 have 1603-1610mAh and the other 2 only have 1015mAh. Chinese... What a shame

Companies buy depleted batteries, process them, and advertise them as fully charged. Out of the 10 I bought, 3 have a capacity of 1350 mAh, one has 1570, and the rest are somewhere around 1100. They are indeed Samsung, the weight is correct for 2.6Ah, 42-43 grams, but they are used with reduced capacity.

It does work with the screwdriver, but as soon as you try to screw something, it gets stuck as if you put it on an incline!! It stops and it's not worth it.. such a waste of money.

Weight 48g, the same as the genuine ones, internal resistance 31 mohm which should have been below 18, and capacity not even 1770mAh. I didn't expect to get Samsung 25r for 3 euros, but now it's too late. For me, anyone who wants to be sure should ask to see them up close before buying them. Avoid batteries in plastic boxes, stickers, and various strange things on the battery, etc.

After frequent discharges and recharges, exposure to high temperatures, and some minor impacts, they managed to withstand and not explode as one would expect.
The downside is that they do not have the greatest autonomy and discharge rate. If you are looking for batteries for a more "extreme" application, I would recommend looking at the more expensive options.

1) It should not be used in single-battery mods that use resistances below 0.6ohm. Because they draw a lot of amps (8-20A) and this specific battery has a maximum of 10A. This means that they strain the battery and force it to operate at its limits (obviously, this is dangerous).
2) The above problem leads to not being able to play at more than 30W. However, if used in a dual-battery mod, the maximum amps will be 20A, but you will still be able to play with resistances up to 0.25ohm to avoid straining the batteries.
In my opinion, if you want to get 18650 batteries for electronics, the base in Amps should be at least 20A (at worst, 15A if you can find them). Also, the mah of this specific battery is very low and in a single-battery mod, it can barely last 6 hours of normal use. If you want to charge it once and have it last 8 hours at work, look for 3500mah+; otherwise, you will need a second one as a spare.
For the robotic vehicle that I bought them for, they work great and last about 3 hours of full-on testing

2022-03-14Expert user5 Stars for the genuine Samsung 25R batteries, which are among the best value for money in their category. Tested in battery packs for power-hungry tools that require a lot of continuous amperage. They hold a charge and only heat up within reasonable limits, so their performance doesn't easily drop. In the tools I tested them on, their performance noticeably improved.
However, be careful of the imitations (fake or refurbished) that are generally circulating in the market, which have no relation to continuous amperage, capacity, or lifespan. Wherever you see stickers on the batteries, cardboard boxes, or individual cases per battery, stay away and if you bought them online, return them immediately because 99% of the time they will be fake. Consult the official manufacturer regarding how they provide their products.
Samsung provides them plain, only with printed characteristics on the body casing, without any stickers, cardboard boxes, or plastic carrying cases. If you cannot visit the store in person, make sure to request detailed photos from all sides of the battery and their packaging.

Also, the battery should have been 2500mAh and the charger (XTAR VC2S) shows me that it only took 1780mAh in a full charging cycle.... This probably means 1: that the electronic mod shows it fully overcharged to protect it from dropping below 3 volts (?) EDIT: 3+ years later, they still hold strong like new. I will definitely choose them again.

I ran out and I wanted something temporary for a while. All of them were 11+ and just when the seller told me that they also have this one here that costs 7 euros. It was a good opportunity for a temporary solution that I needed, not hoping that it would do its job properly. To my surprise, using it, I saw that the battery was perfect. So it became one of my two main batteries for my electronic cigarette. I thought its performance would drop quickly. The opposite happened. As the years went by, all the others gave up and this one continued relentlessly. A few days ago, accidentally dropping coins in the pocket where I had it, the battery short-circuited with the coins and I felt warmth on my leg. I took it out and it was oozing liquid bubbles. I left it aside and waited. No explosion, nothing, but it died... it broke. Four years of excellent performance with almost daily charging and most importantly, it was safe when it short-circuited with the coins due to my own mistake. The most honest purchase. A reference point... I highly recommend it
